Four star hotel run on a shoe string budget no wine glasses in the room or bottle opener only one small one ply toilet roll per day per room only two small bottles of water per day canot recommend. Cannot understand 10 out of 10 positive ratings for this establishment maybe only people that only stay at two star hotels.positives over all good location close to shops and markets and restaurants out side clean modern facilties unfortunately is run like a two star hotel

We had a fantastic time at Grand Kata with our 3 kids aged 8-13. The staff were lovely and helpful. Buffet breakfast was varied and had something for everyone. The pools were clean and not crowded. We had fhe Level 1 pool to ourselves each time we went. We stayed in the 3 bedroom double story and it was spacious, clean, comfortable beds and perfect for the 5 of us. The hotel provided umbrellas in the room. Pool towels, beach towels, bottled water each day. Location was excellent. Close to restaurants, the Kata night walking market, massages, braids, money exchange were all at the doorstep. The beach was 500m away and an easy walk, however it’s worth the walk to the opposite end of the beach as its a bit nicer to the south. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

Property has great location. Restaurant provides good and affordable food. Property unfortunately doesn't have double glassing on the windows so you can hear everything. Cleaning staff doesn't mop the rooms or vacuum them. They use old fashioned booms to sweep the rooms.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay

We had a great stay. Apartment was clean on arrival and could be cleaned daily if we wished. Beds comfortable and rooms spacious, including the bathroom which had a great shower, both by temperature and water pressure. Double glazing helped keep out surrounding noise. The two swimming pools were great, the gym was air conditioned and towels were available for both the pool and the beach free of charge. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you Grand Kata.

We are a family of 5. With 2 teenage boys and 1 7 year old girl. The family room suit us amazingly. Absolutely loved. Staff were so friendly. A 7/11 just opened up within 100 metre walk whilst we were there which is great. Couldn’t ask for more. Would definitely stay here again.
