The location is great but for some the traffic noise could be seriously irritating. We stayed in the older style rooms on the road side, this was ok for us as we had our 2 yr and 11 yr olds grandsons with us, so there was no issue with them making any noise or bruising the paintwork. The rooms were spacious with a very large balcony that provided valuable extra space. The pool is very well equipped for both very young and older children. Staff were very friendly, only issues was I was made to pay for extra bed even though it had been previously paid for, hotel stated they had no record however contacted booking company and they confirmed it paid. However this was to no avail, so I paid and arranged for booking company to provide me with reienbursment. Breakfast was adequate but limited variety, but no one went hungry. The beds are very Thai style beds and are extremely firm. Free wifi but it is a bit slow in rooms but excellent in lobby. The room cleaning wasn't great and we often needed to ask for toilet paper, towels... very basic room cleans. This place suited our needs perfectly and is in easy walking distance to Marlin Plaza for a large selection of dinner options.
I would not recommend stating at this hotel!!!!! The sheets on the bed were dirty and needed to request to be changed. There were flies in the room. When we brought this to the attention of the desk, they said , "oh, we spray, let us know when you are going out so we can spray" !!!! The reason for bugs is you CAN'T FLUSH THE TOILET PAPER! Of course that attracts bugs. Unsanitary. Friendly staff. They couldn't help the conditions. Bathroom was disgusting...mold in the grout. Kept my shoes on in the room always. Cheap beds. Would never stay again!!!! Internet makes it look better than in Is!!!!!!
The hotel is very nice! We stayed there for 4 nights. Overall it was a pleasant stay - the staff was friendly, our room was good, however, it will require some renovation very soon. The pool is deep and clean. Breakfast was also very good. This hotel is located very well - you have shops, a local food market, massage places and the beach nearby.
Very nice, cozy place with very friendly staff, except for one receptionist man who simply escaped when we wanted to change room due to technical and security issues. Next day a very friendly receptionist lady gave us an other room, which was perfect. Pool is nice warm and very clean, rooms are also cleaned daily. Environment is beautiful, with a lot of palm trees and other nice plants. Breakfast is very good and there are various foods available including traditional Thai food. The a la carte restaurant is very good, with both international and Thai food too. Patong beach is about 5-10 mins walk and supermarkets are also very close.
Location: great just a short walk to Patong beach south, and a couple of great marketplace eating areas as well as local restaurants, convenience shops, fresh fruit etc. Reception staff were very friendly and very helpful and available 24hrs. They helped us confirm our trips with local providers and arranged taxi's, well presented waiting area. Our room was on the ground floor, pool side. No road noise at all. Spacious, with plenty of cupboard space mini fridge and a safe. Perfect cool air conditioning. Room cleaning by lovely staff every day as well as fresh bedding, towels and bottled water. Only down side was slow or intermittent connection on the free internet. Pool was great, had shallow and deep areas. A good length for a decent swim with additional children pool and Jacuzzi. Plenty of pool side sun beds and pool towels available from the pool side bar. Jacuzzi area is in need of some attention - only two jets worked and some tiles need attention. Pool area and pool were always clean and well looked after. Breakfast as per other reviews - fantastic, lots of choice and as much as you like. We didn't need to eat lunch really, just an ice cream or snack in the day and the market area for dinner in the evening. Highly recommend it. Would definitely stay there again if we were visiting the same area.
I stayed with my mum and 8 month old son at Coconut for 8 night earlier this month and it was a great place to stay! We had a Deluxe Room (room 209) which was very clean, tidy and quite large. I had put a request in for a room away from the road (as I had read this in another review) and poolside which was accommodated and it was fantastic. No noise at all! Beds could be a little softer as they are close to being rock hard. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of fruit, yoghurts, eggs made to order, different hot dishes each day - just yum! The bread could be a little fresher but some toasting and all is good. The brekkie venue is right on the road (that’s just Phuket, really) but they have an inside area as well for those who are bothered by the fumes/noise which was the place to be for us and made brekkie very enjoyable. Most staff (especially cleaning ladies) were very friendly and they absolutely adored my little guy. The lady at the pool though really brings the place down - quite rude certainly not helpful. All in all, a great, quiet place in the hustle and bustle of Patong!
Stayed here for 5 nights early Feb 2018. Greatest location we found in the quite end of Patong. Easy walk to the busier sections of Patong including the beach, Banglar Rd and markets. The staff are helpful and the room was clean and quite. The pool is wonderful to swim in and offers a pool bar for easy drinks and snacks. The food at the restaurant is also pretty good, the buffet breakfast is the best one on our trip so far.
If I was to go to Phuket again I would stay there, nice big room. I have more of an issue with Patong, it is becoming a little Bangkok. Nice pool, great staff, decent breakfast. I did have to kill a rat that was on the Lana, they gave us another room but it wasn't a upgrade.
We stayed for three nights at Coconut Village. Pool amazing, small but not overly crowded so ok. Rooms are a good size & generally clean. Complimentary water each day is great. Front desk staff ok. Great location - 5 minute walk to beach. Nice place for Phuket
How much u pay, that much u get! Pool is very nice, not that big, and place around pool very friendly and suitable for kids. Rooms as per a price, they are very clean, but u can see it was very nice resort 10 years ago :) but come on, you are using rooms to sleep, and go enjoy in city and pool, beach :)
