Recently stayed here when attending a stag evening in patong before going onto the wedding the next day. The hotel is central but so close to the road you can smell the pollution. The staff were all disinterested and really offhand and rude. Everything was too much trouble. The room smelt terrible felt dirty and tired and the air con was woeful. We were told we had an umbrella in the room which we did not and were charged for two laundry bags claimed to be there but we’re not seen. The breakfast was basic and poor served in a cafe style facility right next to the roadside was noisy and smelly. The final straw was being ripped off by the tuc tuc driver they organised. All in all a place to avoid even though it was not expensive.
Booked a last minute week away to relax, booked this hotel as have stayed previously and all was good. We arrived around 10pm didn't get the usual warm friendly Thai welcome, had to carry own bags up a flight of stairs no offer of drink which is fine for us but would be a shame for newbies to Thailand not to experience this. The reception area is visibly having a makeover which we wasn't informed when booked There was constant noise during the day from the works going on constant banging and 2 hours+ of the staple gun!! not relaxing at all if we had known about the works being carried out we would not of stayed here tried to find out how long this was going on for as we are booked to go back in 4 weeks and they didn't give us a time so we have cancelled but im sure it will be lovely once all completed, and we would stay here again. the pool area is great breakfast is fine great location the staff are lovely and friendly, it's reasonably priced the rooms on the 1st floor are spacious and clean
The hotel is very well situated, 2min walk from the beach and lots of food stalls. Staff very friendly and helpful and rooms are neat and clean. Would recommend this to anyone traveling to Patong beach who doesn't want to live on top of the party but rather quietly next to it.
A lovely quiet resort, close to an amazing market (Marlin) and so many restaurants to choose from! Great pool, staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the deluxe rooms in preference to the ground floor superior room we had originally booked. The downside would be trying to avoid flooding the bathroom floor when showering due to the design of the bath/shower. For dining out, Mr Tu's is fabulous! Fresh, Thai quisine but also very popular European meals like chicken in a basket . They will also launder your clothes for Bht 50 / kg !! (About $NZ 2.00!!) Reluctant to post this as it may mean there may not be a room available next year !!
My husband and I bought a deal for 7 night drinks and meals included. We enjoyed our time there and the food and drinks was perfect. We were there over a renovation period and a restaurant was closed but they had a pop up bar and restaurant. We did get confused with some meal timings in the deli. The staff were all very friendly. We took a ride to Phi phi which was amazing and well worth it although the meal on Phi phi was average and staff not clear on the content of buffet when I asked they ran away. Same when I ordered a drink asking if it was included in the lunch but then was charged after the barman made it. Back on Coconut village we had a few rides on the bikes and they seriously require some maintenance. There were faults with 4 bikes we used. The gym was clean and had enough for a workout to burn all the cocktails up. All in all it was a great break away maybe 7 days was too long. Quiet if you wanted to stay there or you could go to Phuket for shopping or nightlife. The water taxis were great and often. Highly recommend this resort.
Having found this resort online & only having pics to go by, I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. It's location was perfect, close to Patong beach & the main street (walking distance) yet was very peaceful & relaxing. The room was spacious & clean, bathroom was decent & with a bath. Room service & bar prices weren't steep. Staff very friendly & helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay.
This was my fourth Visit to the Resort (Actually a Hotel). Not much has changed since my last visit except for a new Reception being built. Nice small clean pool in middle of it all. Big Rooms with Personal Balcony (Deluxe Rooms only). Basic Buffet Breakfast. Place is getting rustic and need a revamp. The location is o good that with the few changes one can pay alot more to stay here. Worth the money paid.
Last week I spent 7 days at The Village Coconut Island Beach Resort, Phuket with my husband and another couple on an all inclusive Luxury Resort deal and apart from a half day trip to magical Rang Yai Island (part of the deal) never left or wanted to leave the resort as it was so relaxing. Our accommodation in a private garden villa with lap pool was awsome. It was very large, clean with kitchenette. Could not fault the all inclusive food and drinks package with plenty of variety of food and good quality drinks. During my stay there were 3 wonderful theme nights with amazing good, music provided by a couple and on one night there was a fire show. The main restaurant had a beautiful setting right on the water. Preferred breakfast at Koko's as it was not as crowded. Also on one night had a lovely meal at Koko's when a saxaphone player was in attendance which was not part of the deal but received 50% discount which was a bonus. The beach and resort facilites were very nice and always managed to find a outdoor bed to lie on. The massages were probably the best I have ever had. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough. A special thank you to Honey in the main restaurant, Glenn at the activities centre and Levent the Customer Experience Manager for all their attention which added to a wonderful stay. Highly recommened and will be back!
For many years we have passed this hotel without noticing there was a hotel, but now we know it and now it is our hotel for the future. The hotel is located in the quiet end of Patong but not further than 1 km. From Bangla Road or Jungceylon shopping mall, so for us It´s a perfect location. The rooms are large and spacious with plenty of closet space, the bathroom is large with the necessary toilet items supplied and there was always extra toilet paper :o) The daily cleaning could not be better, clean towels every day, and clean linen every second day. The pool was good and very child friendly, the sunbeds were plenty and trees were cut to so there was sun all the way around the pool. Should I come with a little a little negative comment, their breakfast can be improved. Of fresh bread there was toast as well as other white bread, the croissants were from a bag so the selection could be improved. Eggs should be asked and then it was delivered with 2 pieces of bacon, for my sake it should be free to pick up and on the 16 days we were there there were pancakes only one day, so in this field they could easily improve much.
we had very good bearkfast and staff were gental with respect as well ..the room was very clean and good smell as well .. the pool view was really great and 3 minuts walking from Bangla street and highly recommended
