The property was very quiet even though it is on a main street. However it is set a long way back so in our room there was no traffic noise. Breakfast offered a good selection of foods but some different cereal would have been nice not just the same 2 choice every day. The breakfast room was VERY HOT. There was no a/c and sometimes the fans were not on. Our room was very clean and modern with quite a large bathroom with a bath and walk in shower ie no glass door which was great. We had to remind housekeeping to clean our room twice in a 6 day stay which was not good. Also the Front Desk staff were, at times, rather abrupt in their interactions with us. I know they were busy but not always. The free shsuttle to and from the beach was very handy. It's aboiut a 10 - 12 minute walk to the start of the main beach area. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Beautiful area and the garden villa was fantastic - large, clean, very nice. The central pool area was also amazing, however is not suitable for noisy children. The menu and bar are fine - not too expensive. When I first booked this villa, I made a mistake in the booking - we contacted the hotel immediately and they refused to allow us to cancel that booking and rebook with the amendment - this is extremely poor service - shows no trust for the customer - so be very careful when booking or trying to make changes with them. Likewise when renting the scooter, I was short 250 baht for the day hire (about 10 dollars) after paying 1000 baht deposit and they refused to put it on the room tab, or allow me to pay later in the day, or to use my credit card - i had to go out and find an ATM so I could pay them cash immediately - again this is terrible customer service, particularly from the motorbike/taxi hire guy. The welcome/reception staff, although nice, did not really give us any information about the facilities, such as where the gym was etc. Customer service needs to be improved here, so people can enjoy the villas to their full potential. Also, the wifi constantly dropped out which was frustrating.

Ett bra hotell som skulle behöva en uppfräschning

Slitet på sina ställen men bra restaurang och bra priser. Underbart med pool access från altanen från alla rum. Ingen mini bar men ett riktigt kyl/frys skåp. Trevlig personal men inte lika översvallande som jag är van.Shutle bussar till beachen nästan varje timme. Då vi var tvunga att lämna hotellet 03.00 så fick vi en frukost låda som var helt ok.Ett allvarligt problem som vi upplevde var att det blir glas halt i toaletten när det är vatten på golvet.

The place is undergoing a heavy reconstruction on half of the area. So a bit noisy. The rest ,where we lived is in bad need of a total makeover too. Craxks in everything, broken wok on sundeck, broken tiles, sharp and dangerous. Lamps in room broken too. The seats on sunchairs need to b renewed too. Molded and rotten. Staff was friendly, breakfast was as expected and totaly Ok. Easy checkin/out Sorry, but i cannot recomend this to anyone u til the whole hotel is remade and fixed. The pool and areas was infested with catepillars wich fell into pool too. Shirt walk to Kata beach, a bit dangerous due to traffic, but close to familymart and so. If I knew that the Hotel was ungoing this massive renovation I would NEVER have booked. So No recomendation to anyone for this hotel, Until is done

The owner of this hotel has got another new hotel namely Aurico Kata and we have upgrade the package to this hotel. For budgetary limit, Karon villa pool access is a right choice. However if you can spend a little bit more, I highly recommend Aurico Kata.

Lugn läge

Hade poolaccess vilket var jättefint eftersom poolen är väldigt liten. Rent och fräscht på rummet och trevlig personal med en fin rumsservice. Dåligt med solstolar. Lugnt och tyst. Badbuss om dagarna till stranden vilket var bra då promenaden dit var lite riskfylld utan trottoarer. Lite för likt Gran Canaria för vår del. Många ryssar och asiater på hotellet.

Отель очень понравился, даже не ожидала. Мы отдыхали 11 ночей с 1 по 12 марта, по типу номера брали виллу. Номер отличный с большой открытой и закрытой верандой, закрытая веранда оборудована как Кухня и гостиная , есть 2 кресла, журнальный и обеденный стол, холодильник, кухонные шкафчики, электрочайник. На открытой веранде 2 кресла и столик. В комнате есть телевизор, шкаф для одежды, большая удобная кровать. Ванная комната большая. Вилла -это одноэтажные домики на 2 семьи с разными входами. Территория отеля с виллами просто шикарная, очень Зеленая, есть небольшой бассейн и хороший тренажёрный зал. Территория с вилами с выходом к бассейн отдельная от территории с просто виллами и мне она понравилась меньше, там меньше зелени. Уборка номеров каждый день, меняют постель и полотенца в т с и пляжные, Уборка хорошая. Завтрака в ближайшем от отеля ресторане, т е не отельный ресторан. Завтраки скудные и однообразные, но 10 дней выдержать можно. От отеля до пляжа Ката идти 12-15 минут, не близко, но нас это не напрягало. В целом отель очень не плохой и учитывая стоимость нашего проживания , все просто отлично!

Lugnt och fint boende för par och familjer

Hotellområdet är vackert, lugnt och avkopplande. Det ligger ca 10 min promenad från Kata Beach. Det finns grattis shuttle till stranden varje heltimme om man inte vill gå. Det är billigare att boka taxi via hotellet än ta en vid taxistationen om man vill åka till Karon eller göra en utflykt. Vi bodde 3 vuxna i en rymlig bungalow (Delux Villa), och det var gott om plats. Tyvärr lät AC:n mycket, så jag behövde öronproppar. Extra sängen var stenhård, men jag lyckades få en bäddmadrass till den. Då blev den drägligare. De två ordinarie sängarna var ok. Alla tre sängarna var queen size. Bungalowen hade ett litet kök och ett rymligt kylskåp. Ingen köksutrustning, men en vattenkokare. På vägen mot stranden finns det många små, bra och billiga thairestauranger, de är betydligt bättre än de vid den större vägen som går parallelt med stranden. Hotellets pool är liten, men helt OK för en avkopplande stund. Det finns en bar vid poolen, och det är enkelt att beställa dit mat god från hotellets restaurang. Jag testade deras chicken satay, och det var nog den godaste jag åt på hela semester och jag åt det på många ställen. Frukosten var underbar. Det fanns färsk frukt, grönsaker, en kock som lagade omelett på beställning och stekte ägg och pannkakor. Det fanns även flera olika varma rätter, både thai och europeiska. Kaffet var gott.Gymmet var litet och inte så välutrustat, ett par löpbandan, hyfsat med hantlar, en skrotfärdig smithmaskin och några rangliga maskiner. Tyvärr inga skivstänger.

Perfekt - med enkelt "error"

Fantastisk ophold. Vi valgte at flytte fra patong Beach, da vi gerne ville have mere ro. Det fik vi her. Eneste minus var dog de enormt mange gruppe dag kinesiske turister som desværre havde tendens til, at opføre sig som om de ejede det hele (fx bruge vores private terrasse mm). Dette skal dog ikke trække hotellet ned da de jo ikke kan gøre for det.

Paradise in the far east
