Came in out of the rain for brekkie, and got a decent return. Very well cooked and good portion, and for a decent price. Is open to the public and also caters to staying guests, it's is well kept, attentive staff and a wide range of options on the full menu. Will definitely visit again

Yet another brilliant stay at this tranquil location. I couldn't have asked for more. I stayed here for 28 nights and enjoyed every moment and would go back again as this is the third time I have stayed at Anchalee Inn. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful when needed.

Popped in a couple of times for drinks and were given a warm welcome each time from the 'landlady'. It was quiet, being just away from the centre but not far from the Hard Rock Café. It struck us as being a pleasant place to stay, though in England we guess it would be 2 or 3 star.

Had a 3 night stay in this hotel. A friendly greeting on arrival, and the young man working reception helped me to carry my luggage upstairs. The lift is still out of order, and has been for sometime - not particularly good when you suffer with arthritis in your knees. The room was comfortable, with a good size balcony. Nice water pressure in the shower. Small fridge in the room, with no mini bar provided (7-11 just around the corner, much cheaper). Had evening meal in the hotel restaurant, and had a few other meals there also as the food is good. There is a outdoor pool, which was very nice. No sunbathing there though as it is in a courtyard, and so quite shaded. The lounge furniture has been well used, and is showing its age, with wear and tear evident. The pool table needs recovering, as that is torn also. The hotel is close to the beach, and walking distance to the night life area and Jung Ceylon.

Came here yesterday and booked/paid for seven days (7000 B). Then I got a message that my flight back home was changed to Krabi, so I have to leave there tomorrow. The owner of this place says that he won't give anything back from My money. So, he gave me a valuable lesson - now I feel I owe him a lesson too.

Love this hotel stayed here for last few year Good clean hotel staff are nice and friendly food is really nice breakfast are has good has anywhere location great for beach 5 min walk Bangla road 10/15 mins walk 😀we like it

Consider all its ok. Pics on booking.com is amazing. They lie. Looks like years since they where taken. They say they have pool and trainingroom. And they have. But pool was really cold and the place the water is going inn to get filtered was really rusty. They also didnt clean leafs that seemed to have been there for days. And there is very limited sun since the sun does have a limited angle to get in. The trainingroom was some of the poorest I have ever seen. Was some equipement but nothing was cleaned in a long while. Metal was rusted. Mashines was full of dirt. Bench had birdpoop on it. The lobby also look a lot better in pictures. Sealing was partly ripped of. Sofas looked old. And a pooltable that has seen better days(fun to play even so😁 and its free so cant complain to much). Food in restaurant was maybe the best thing about the whole thing. Good food for a good price. Rooms was ok. Not much to complain about except I didnt like showers. Its no problem to shower. It will get the job done for sure. We where lucky they overbooked because we got a room with windows and balcony. Was suppose to get one without. Cant imagine room without window. Elevator was broken. Had to walk 4 stairs. And hotel is guest friendly if you meat somebody in town you want to bring home.

Booked room here whilst in Patong. When we arrived we paid for 3 nights and were handed key with no indication of where room was. Found room on third floor (no lift and no assistance. Room had no windows - this was not mentioned when booking. Room stank of stale cloths - absolutely disgusting. Asked for money back as could not stay there but this was curtly refused by very unhelpful desk person. Lost our money and they no doubt let room again to some unsuspecting person.

We had a dinner here recently and overall a pretty poor experience and would not recommend to others. We had: Chicken with Cashew Nut and Rice which we rated 3 out of 10.. with very little chicken in the meal and even fewer cashews and was mainly vegetables used as filler. Chicken Breast with Mashed Potato and Salad which we rated 5 out of 10.. Lumpy potato, chicken breast plain with no sauce or gravy.

Excellent little hotel with adequate pool. Just far out enough from Bangla Rd to be peaceful but 10 minutes from the "action".Less than 5 mins walk to beach;4 mins to the sports bars and fish retaurants. I had the cheap $25 room with no window but it was fine with good A/C and hot shower. Restaurant was good too.
