Nice accommodations; friendly staff; good location; rooms are spacious and clean

The women at the front desk was amazing and the room was clean fresh with a great breakfast

The hotel is in a good location and the room was satisfactory. The continental breakfast was very average. Need to provide smaller coffee mugs to have more coffee for everyone

Dirty bathroom w mold on the faucet / black dots or something ...

Very comfortable, well decorated and clean, loved the pool and breakfast area. All staff was great with the exception of 2 of the 3 front desk employees we encountered.

The first white male who I had an encounter that night and 3 times afterwards could have been one of the worst CSR I have dealt w. He was condescending and cold. The black girl was ok and she assisted me fine. But the Chinese male was the nicest and friendliest, like how clients expect these hotel staff should be. A place of business get can a bad review w just one ugly person, so they should keep a close watch for people who seem to not want to be in a certain position in their company.

Very enjoyable stay. I loved the sort of mini kitchen area. Lots of great places to eat nearby.

My husband and I wanted a suite with a fridge and a sitting area as a home base for seeing some sites in Scottsdale and Phoenix. This hotel was really perfect for that. They also had an excellent included "continental" breakfast. My only complaint about the breakfasts were the styrofoam plates and bowls. they are not eco-friendly and are not pleasant to eat from. The king size bed was very comfortable, and we always had a good night's sleep. A little far from Old Town Scottsdale, and in a medical services area off the main drag, but we had a very nice running/walking/biking trail within walking distance as well as some good restaurants. A good value.

Ants were crawling, they changed the room , but staff was inconsiderate, did not apologize for that, will not go back ever!!!

Pleased that the fitness and laundry room was available 24 hrs and free breakfast had a decent selection. The room slightly like a dog was present which was only noticeable when entering the room.

Great room! Very clean! Loved the breakfast! We really enjoyed the stay for 6 nights and the area !

Pros: Quiet, good for $$, nice breakfast bar, Cons: There's no separate room for the 2 queens room. I didn't know they allow dogs until we got there. Old TV type (TV tubes), not flat screen. Gave us a room with toilet not flushing properly.

eXCELLENT LOCATION. Shopping, dining, freeway next door. Good room-quiet

We were in town for a family member's birthday party. Besides showering and sleeping, we don't spend time at the hotel so it was a good value, clean, comfy bed, and an adequate breakfast to get us started.

My Dad came out to visit. The location was perfect, right down the street from my Moms house. He said he meet quiet a few folks from all over and really enjoyed the pool! He also had the opportunity to go and visit the butterfly exhibit. Will definitely recommend the hotel and also book him there again. Thank you!

I've never stayed at a Carlson property, but figured it must be pretty good at a bare minimum since it's in Scottsdale. It's an un-kept, run down hotel. Wallpaper in hallways is peeling off, 1 of 2 elevators never worked, carpeting in room was coming off the floor and torn in place. Basically a dump. The hotel staff were very friendly.

We stayed for the whole show. This hotel has great mattresses, good size rooms, cheerful staff. Location is awesome with nearby restaurants and it is very close to West World showgrounds. Breakfast was not awesome, but it is free--and breakfast was the only thing I'd complain about.

It is worth the money for the level of hotel to stay.

We stayed here due to it's close proximity to the Laser Spine Institute. Staff was wonderful and accommodating to our needs. Our room was always kept clean. We stayed a week so the kitchenette was a great asset. The bed was of the most comfortable we've used away from home and the super comfy pillows were especially nice post surgery. WiFi worked great and we loved how close shopping and freeway access was to this location.. Would definitely recommend it to others.

This hotel is showing it's age but the location is great. The 101 is around the corner, a Fry's across the street and plent of places to eat within walking distance or a short drive. The staff was very nice. I had to change the batteries in the tv remote and there was some kind of beetle in my room. Better not have been a Bedbug. Good Luck
