Our stay was amazing! We had a stand alone casita, the property was so quiet and maintained. Pools, golf and restaurants were perfect and not too crowded. We are definitely planning on staying at the Boulders on our next visit!

Great resort and a very different vibe which was relaxing. The shuttle service around the resort was convenient. However, couldn’t sleep much in the morning because of woodpeckers banging on the wood which will be your biggest downfall staying st the resort. You will be awoken before 5am. Great hotel but will not be staying again unless something is done with not attracting the woodpeckers.

Great staff and property was beautiful. I will definitely be going back there for all my visits to AZ.

I loved the staff they went beyond serving you. I loved the shuttles taking you to and from your room after activities

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was so beautiful there. Loved the golf car pick ups. Food a bit pricey but very good. Lovely grounds. Spa pool our favorite quiet not crowded great place to just relax.

The resort was absolutely beautiful. The landscaping was well cared for and the trail up to the top of the boulders was a short hike with an amazing view of the property and surrounding area. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. (Make sure to request a room on the first floor if you have trouble with stairs. The unit we stayed in was on the second floor and had no elevator). We loved the amazing variety of wildlife on the property! There were bunnies and birds everywhere we went on the property. The staff was friendly and went out of their way no matter what time of day or night it was to make us feel welcome. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful setting. Close to Cave Creek and an easy ride into Scottsdale. The staff are first rate.

Beautiful scenery , relaxing stay. This hotel offers all casita rooms nestled among the Boulders and the pristine golf course and desert scape.

I love staying at this hotel. The only problem is the fact the grounds are so expansive it's a lot of walking so wear your tennis shoes! It's so beautiful and the staff are extremely kind!

I stayed at the Boulders in June, 2018. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and even go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The casita was spacious, clean and excellent - plenty of privacy, great views. The property was huge. There was lots too do -swim, hike, golf, explore, bike ride, even play chess! Next time, I look forward to using the Spa and exploring even more of the property. Only downside was menu at the Palo Verde restaurant was too odd. It was difficult to select something I deemed edible, so I had to settle for pasta. Ultra-expensive octopus and beef tartar aren't what I want to eat when I'm on vacation. There was also limited options for breakfast. The Spotted Donkey restaurant was great Mexican food, reasonably priced.

Needed to move rooms because room not clean . New room smelled like smoke

We had an excellent time during our 4 night stay at Boulders. Our room was even nicer than we expected, with a pretty view of the golf course, a good size balcony with a table for 2, a very large bathroom and walk in closet, an extremely comfortable bed and a real fireplace that we used every night. Every resort employee that we encountered was helpful and pleasant and truly wanted to make our stay great! We spent an awesome day at the spa, starting with a yoga class, a delicious lunch outside by the pool, a couples massage and then laying by the pool for the rest of the afternoon. We did order room service a couple times during our stay which was great as well. Breakfast outside at Palo Verde was lovely. The only complaints that we had concerned the main pool at The Lodge. There are close to 50 lounge chairs around the pool, which should have been enough, but guests were very rude about saving and monopolizing more chairs than they needed. This was not monitored at all by the pool staff and definitely impacted other guests. Also there are not enough umbrellas at this pool. I believe I counted 13 umbrellas and guests were constantly watching to see if the lucky loungers with umbrellas were leaving so they could get their shady spot! For these reasons I preferred the adults only pool at the spa which had plenty of lounge chairs and more umbrellas per chair. Overall a great resort and I would definitely stay there again.

Love Boulders...it was our first time to stay there and i'm very impressed with the property. For the golf lover...they have a great golf course. The casitas are spacious, you have the golf carts to take you around and hardworking staff who made sure we had a very pleasant experience. Awesome gym/spa amenities... Had dinner at the Spotted Donkey...food is yummy and affordable. I would recommend this resort to my family and friends.

I was expecting this place to be amazing since it's a 5 star hotel and the resort fee is $30/night. The room was nice, but a little dated. The bathroom and the patio was the best part of the room. The beds were comfortable. When staying here, be careful of dead animals around the hotel. I think they get run over by the golf carts that are driven by the staff. The first night, I had to tell them to pick up 2 dead baby birds and the 2nd night I had to tell them to pick up a big dead lizard. I liked that I was able to communicate with the hotel via text message. One of the pillowcases had brown spots on the side of the pillow, which was concerning. They could also use a paint job as paint was peeling in the room, plus we had spiders in the toilet space with cobwebs and all.

The hotel was very accommodating to my father and I since we arrived at different times. Check in and out was very simple and everyone was extremely friendly.

Celebrated 10 years of marriage with my wife at the Boulders. We had a great time. The staff was friendly, the grounds were amazing and view was superb. The only negatives were the huge spider in the shower our first night, it's dead friend on the mantle above the fireplace that was there when we checked in and still there when we checked out (hello housekeeping!) and the scorpion that made his way in on the last night. Room service was prompt and delicious each time!
