I was expecting this place to be amazing since it's a 5 star hotel and the resort fee is $30/night. The room was nice, but a little dated. The bathroom and the patio was the best part of the room. The beds were comfortable. When staying here, be careful of dead animals around the hotel. I think they get run over by the golf carts that are driven by the staff. The first night, I had to tell them to pick up 2 dead baby birds and the 2nd night I had to tell them to pick up a big dead lizard. I liked that I was able to communicate with the hotel via text message. One of the pillowcases had brown spots on the side of the pillow, which was concerning. They could also use a paint job as paint was peeling in the room, plus we had spiders in the toilet space with cobwebs and all.

The hotel was very accommodating to my father and I since we arrived at different times. Check in and out was very simple and everyone was extremely friendly.

Celebrated 10 years of marriage with my wife at the Boulders. We had a great time. The staff was friendly, the grounds were amazing and view was superb. The only negatives were the huge spider in the shower our first night, it's dead friend on the mantle above the fireplace that was there when we checked in and still there when we checked out (hello housekeeping!) and the scorpion that made his way in on the last night. Room service was prompt and delicious each time!

Everything about our stay was perfect. Great room - view - the spa - the yoga - the weight room - the grounds - the staff - the restaurants.

The view was beautiful. The grounds that you have access to around the lodge are immense. Authentic desert feel. Everything was wonderfully maintained. We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and were glad we stayed here. Rooms are spacious and nicely updated!!

Everything is excellent here. You should try to have dinner at Palo Verde Restaurant. Dinnerware collection is wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at this resort to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. The places was great and we definitely enjoyed our experience at this resort.

Great place to stay... If you make reservations make sure not to get joining rooms.. Our neighbors were very noisy when coming in at midnight both nights. Also, bring your hiking boots, lots of walking to get to different spots. Overall the place is great and can't wait to stay here again.

Took advantage of low summer seasonal rates. Resort is NOT 5 star, nice but not exquisite.

FAMILY REUNION AT THE BOULDER RESORT-SCOTTSDALE I SEEK OUT THE UNUSUAL AND AMAZING WHENEVER I CAN SO THAT THE PLACE WILL REMAIN IN MY MEMORY FOR A LONG TIME. I RENTED 1 3 BEDROOM VILLA AND QUICKLY REALIZED WE WOULD NEED A SECOND VILLA. MY IDEA WAS FOR MY SISTERS AND COUSINS WHO CAME FROM NEW MEXICO, MISSISSIPPI, AND MANY FROMTHE GREATER PHOENIX AREA COULD BE IN ONE UNIVERSAL STUNNING LOCATION, WHERE WE COULD SWIM, VISIT, COOK AND EAT TOGETHER WITHOUT EVER GETTING IN A CAR. I HAVE LEARNED THE HARD WAY WHAT IT TAKES TO COLLECT EVEN A FEW PEOPLE AND GET THEM TO A RESTAURANT ON TIME TO ONLY VISIT FOR LESS THAN ONE OUR. AFTER ALL OF US HAVE COME LONG DISTANCES, TAKE PRECIOUS TIME OFF WORK FOR SO LITTLE EFFECT.

Everything is excellent rooms, staff, restaurants & resorts.

Rooms were nicely done. Very comfy bed. Luxurious bath. Very welcoming and courteous staff. Unbelievable views. The weather was cooler than the city. The only negative was some mosquitoes. Otherwise, it was a perfect getaway for the wife's 40tg birthday.

Needed a relaxing getaway, and this was the perfect fit for us. Great staff that made our stay very enjoyable!

I was in need of a few days of relaxation and sun.... BOULDERS was perfect for it. The women at spa catered to every need and had great recommendation to enhance my experience... my morning stretch class and pool work out were also great (made all the laziness not soooo bad)

Newly renovated rooms are as advertised in the photos. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is spacious, fireplace is a perfect bonus. They'll deliver wood whenever you want it. The resort itself is spacious. There is a decent walk between facilities, but it gives you more time to enjoy the colors and sounds of the desert. The golf course was prefectly manicured (though quite expensive). The main pool is busy at times, but the other 2 pools were more quiet. Lovely stay, we would go back.

You have to walk to your room or take a golf car. No weelchair accesible. In room dinning quite expensive.

Santa Fe style getaway with nice pools and comfortable casitas. Not a posh city style hotel of that's what you want look elsewhere. Personally did not feel accommodations justified price even though we were upgraded to a casita .

Top Notch Customer Service, all staff that assisted us were amazing and refused tips. The hotel is on beautiful spacious piece of land. Parking is either self- or valet but have to use a shuttle and golf carts to get to and from room if you are not a walker. I had recent knee injury and walked some but promise you the golf cart rides are so amazingly fun that I was happy to pretend pain to partake more often. My 2 year old refused to get out several times once reaching our room. Room service food is "ok" except chocolate mousse cake which was like ambrosia and indescribably delicious.

If you're looking for a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting the Boulders is perfect. I had been told it was lovely and it is honestly one of those places you have to experience in person. I stayed in a casita about a 3 minute walk from the main lodge and pool. I went in July, so it was off season. The place wasn't slammed with people so it was great.

My husband & i had an excellant stay. The staff was very friendly & accomadating. When we travel we bring our dog & we were glad it was a pet friendly resort. Our friends enjoyed the stay also & were very impressed with the service & the resort. There's a beautiful golf course.
