Dated, dirty, no housekeeping, not worth the money.

Nice room. Parking was a long walk. Great deal for the time of year I was there.

Check In Takes between 20 to 30 minutes, more if you have to wait in line.

Great room and set up. Wish I coukd have spent more time at the resort.

Nice resort, very limited parking if staying in complexes #2 and higher. will have to walk a bit to get to your room.

Parts are a little dated, but still pretty nice. Was there for five days so large fridge was nice. Room has a toaster and regular coffee pot (with cone filters provided). Jetted tub (and shower) in a large bathroom. Be prepared to walk, and use stairs. If you're not in the first couple of buildings you'll do a lot of walking. I didn't mind, but some will. If you use fitness room you might have to wait to use the single treadmill. VERY pleasant and helpful hotel staff.

Good time beautiful area. Golf course was very nice. Pool to cold.

The hotel provides a shuttle to parking if you call for it, but unless you're in the first building, you usually have a very long walk from your room to your car. The design of parking was like an afterthought. Rooms in relationship to the lobby, restaurant, bar are very far away. Does not encourage using these facilities. Rooms are rather dark and dreary. Our keys stopped working after the first day, so we had to call to have security drive over to open & give us a new key. Took him more than 10 minutes to do so. He then said we could go to the lobby and get a second key--he only brought one. We asked him to please bring one for us. He said he would, but did not. We had stayed here before, but feel it has gone down hill over the last 2 years, and would not stay here again.

Traveled in late September and room was on first floor overlooking the golf course. Golf course and its restaurant were closed for 2 weeks (seeding). There are 8 bldgs, 2 floors. Bldgs 1,2, 7,8 are renovated rooms. The rooms posted on Orange Tree Golf Resort are not the renovated rooms. This is a time share property, after checking in, you will be directed to the "concierge" where you pick up your parking pass and the representative hands you a folder of Orange Tree amenities, where to eat, activities through Shell Vacations Club, attend a one hour presentation about the property. Do not answer the phone if it rings. Please note you will walk to your car. The bellmen are eager to assist you if you need a ride to/from your room. Walkout patio has 2 lounge chairs. 1 bedroom with 2 double beds, large (long) bathroom, jetted tub, double vanity, glass shower and toilet in one area. No closets in bedroom, only dresser drawers and open closet in bathroom. Pool and bath towels, clothes basket, 3 phones, small TV in bedroom, one TV in living/dining room. Complimentary use of washer and dryer, ample sitting in pool area. It's a "green" property. recycling is encouraged. Cuisinart kitchen appliances and flatware, glassware, coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, and full frig/freezer. Lots of lights and windows. DVD player in room and free DVD rental. Property is a short drive to the 101 Loop and 51 and minutes from Scottsdale Road. Housekeeping is every 4 days.

The hotel is nice for the price. The location was pretty good and rooms were a good size. The king bed was very comfy and liked the double sinks in the bathroom. However the water pressure was terrible and understand the low flow but we had to take long showers and kind of defeats the purpose. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and the options were very limited and portion size very small. Overall it was a great experience and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything went well except the restaurant. The breakfast was terrible. Bad service and the server was mopping with chlorine while we ate. I had to ask to stop until we finish. Bad, bad, bad

Stayed 3 nights at Orange Tree. Purpose of our stay was to golf and sightsee. We found the location great, centrally located. The staff was welcoming and nice. The room was large. We were in building 3. We found parking fairly close. We had no view whatsoever and could hear street traffic. Big refrigerator, sink, toaster and some coffee packages were convenient. The bed was temperpedic which was fun to try out. Couple challenges: the pool was down. They offered a partner property that we could use a couple miles away but who wants that?! The shower was the other challenge. The temperature would fluctuate ... Cold or scalding hot. I left conditioner in my hair on the last day as I just couldn't take it. Wifi was being worked on so was intermittent. Overall a fine stay for the price.

I will totally stay there again!! The rooms are big with a great layout and have every amenity I was looking for.

no hot water in shower in the morning and no cold water at night. very bad before check out the maid entered our room and decided to take our stuff away and throw some out very unusual behaivor

I can not stress enough how amazing this place was. If it were a pet friendly place, I would stay once a month - easily. Not only is it priced great but it was the best experience ever! I do not have one single complaint. Some reviews were negative due to the parking but we were lucky enough to get a building near the parking lot. Definitely building two or three is the most convenient but this place was so amazing that I would be okay even if I had to travel down to building 8. If this is in your budget or just a few dollars more than your budget - if this is in your desired area - and you don't have to worry about a pet - this is a must stay. I can't wait to go back, if even just to run away for a night. Thank you resort and staff - this will always be the first place I think of when I want to escape.

5 star level hotel and I will definitely stay again next time.

We have stayed at Orange Tree many times and always love the huge rooms and jetted bathtub. The beds are big, which is nice but a little hard and made my back and neck site by the second night. There were also several little flies that were coming from the bathroom. But overall, we lived it and would stay again.

The hotel and staff were great. The room and grounds were very clean and well kept. The major drawbacks were the exercise room which was not only tiny but very sparsely equipped. However the biggest drawback was the parking, we were in building 8 the last one from the parking lot and had a quarter mile hike to the parking lot. There was closer parking maybe only two blocks away but you could never get a space as the people who had those never seemed to move their cars. There were bell hops in carts to take you on their availability but that usually cost a tip. So I would not stay there again unless I was assured up front that I would be placed in buildings 1 or 2.

Great facility, very nice place, clean rooms, but the service was not what I'm used to. There was one bellman, Matt, who was exceptional. All other service was par or below.

Large and comfortable units...well kept and good value with an excellent Scottsdale location. Will stay there again.
