Pool dirty no one swimming. Rooms not close to a 3 or 4 star hotel
It has improved in the last year... pools were clean and very nice!
This property is extremely dated. We utilized this facility as a primary hotel during a family function. We did not use the golf course amenities. The golf course looked nice and wish I had the time to play. This facility though clean was dated. The rooms were large and the bed comfortable. They stated if we used a third party like Orbitz, we would not get a free breakfast. My plans included the breakfast. Orbitz - called and got it handled.
This place was nothing that I thought of. They didn’t even have a pool. The room needs to be updated. The odor coming from the room was terrible I had to buy plug-ins. I would not recommend!
Not even close to what’s on the pictures on the internet would not recommend
This is the second visit to this hotel. The first time we were not too impressed with the condition of our room because it was shabby and seemed not terribly clran. However, we decided to stay again due to the location to the Mesa airport. This time we had a very difficult time finding the room, there were no vending machines, the room had uncomfortable bedding and could be cleaner. We will not return.
The AC barely worked. It was hot in the room. I planned to have a relaxing day near the swimming pool while my son had orientation at ASU. Unfortunately the swimming pool was a dirty puddle and the gated swimming pool area was closed. On the top of all other things it was really disapinting.

The pictures of this hotel were deceiving. It was pretty on the outside but was very old and out of date on the inside. It lists the hotel as having 3 restaurants but in fact counts the hot dog stand by the golf course as one of them. It lists that there are multiple pools but only found 1 with actual water in it. It is also in a retirement community and if you are not of that age there is nothing to do at all besides golf. There was also a water pipe that broke outside of our room and they had to jack hammer the sidewalk to get to the leak. We had to beg to move rooms while they fixed that and then there was zero compensation for that trouble. Save yourselves and just stay in Scottsdale where it's much nicer and there are actual activities.
Good location and close to shopping, restaurants and the freeway.
Great price for a nice property, I would stay there again.
I booked a casita room which is bigger but upon checkin they gave me a room which was the most basic one. It’s like you paid for a 2 bedroom and you got only the studio! Orbitz I want you to compensate me well for this trouble .
Hotel was great. We got there on a Wednesday and the pool was dirty and didn't get cleaned til Friday for their weekend guests. The room were clean and the staff were very nice. There was only luke warm water for showering and hardly any water pressure. As the weekend came the water stayed cool and didn't even get warm. Golf course was being reseeded so everything was very long including the greens. If we had known the condition of the course, we would have chosen another location. The check in staff didn't understand Expedia I guess and we were double charged for our room and still waiting for the credit back to the credit card used for the purchase.
Golf Course closed for re-seeding (but that was not listed on Orbitz). Dated facility in need of a renovation. Pleasant employees.
All in all my trip to Phoenix was one disaster after another. I stayed my final night in this establishment and it was a bright spot to a very dark trip. The night clerk Heather was especially cordial and I enjoyed my one night stay here a great deal. I will never return to Phoenix if I can help it, but if I can't help it I will stay here.
Had a casita which was spacious and comfortable. Very quiet - hardly ever saw another guest in the casita area where we stayed. We had complimentary breakfasts each day included in the Orbitz special deal; however, breakfast is NOT normally included in room rates. The hotel sells tickets for the morning buffet, which includes bacon, eggs, etc. cooked to order. At check-in you need to show a copy of your reservation confirmation from Orbitz to show that the breakfast buffet is included in your package. Otherwise, you will have to buy tickets for the buffet, which are not inexpensive.
I recently stayed at the Arizona Golf Resort in Mesa. The desk staff was very helpful and met all my questions with quick and complete answers. The location was perfect for what I had to do in Mesa. I would stay with these folks again!
I felt I was not treated well right from the beginning. it seems I was a bother when they noticed I book thru Orbitz.
I was notified less than 1 hour of check in that the Hotel was over booked. The staff blamed Orbitz and told me they were notified 2 Weeks prior. I pressed the manager at the front desk how they could cancel a reservation for 4 rooms that was placed back in September 2016. There was no response. The moment I mentioned that I had contacted my attorney they admitted that they only notified Orbitz less than 2 hours before check in and began scrambling to get us rooms. They found 3 rooms and crammed 8 adults into them. The Hotel itself is filthy. I informed the staff daily that there were bird droppings all over the patio leading up to the pool. No one took the time to hose it down. (See Picture)
the place was very nice, we enjoyed our stay. this review will not submit unless I type out more. this is annoying and I need to finish so I can get to work.
