Beautiful Casita. Location was great. Not as dog friendly as we thought due to restrictions (not allowed on couches which caused stress for them). Not as private due to proximity of main house and side gates being left open. Driveway was tough to maneuver and was crowded.

The owner lives on site, yet we felt that it did bs had access to the entire area. When we went out to the car, there was always a chance that they would a sand I felt like we could deal with the inconvenience. My husband was not very happy as we thought that we could spend more time lounging outside with our dog, who was also bitten once by one of theirs. The casita is well designed and I enjoyed it. The downfalls being: The cupboard holding the pots and pans could not be opened. There were things everywhere. It was quite cluttered. Someone must be a collector. We felt very safe in the area. I would certainly not rule out staying there again, but would negotiate some things.

This is the laundry room as well. The things in the casita were not junk! We were concerned about having our little nephews in.
The garage had a lot in it as well! it would have been safer to park in there so that we did not have to deal with the dogs. But I was afraid we might damage something.

Just Right

Needed a convenient place to stay close to a family member's home for a few days. This was excellent location and the casita was really nice and clean. We had a couple of issues no fault of the owner but his responses were immediate.

Lovely One-Bedroom Casita

Very private & secure, in a fenced and gated yard. You will get to use an opener to drive your car through the gate. You can park your car in your own garage if it's no longer than a Toyota Camry. Recliner and reclining seats in leather couches are very comfortable. Complete full-size kitchen. Many interesting artefacts in the decor. Roy is super helpful and pleasant to talk to. 12 miles to the center of the restaurants on Gilbert Drive.

Hoarder's Paradise

It looked like one big garage sale. Junk pushed up against the buildings....pictures do not reflect the clutter that was everywhere. As a single mother with two young adult daughters, I did not feel comfortable staying there. So we left and I forfeited my money, which VRBO and the owners did not return. Stay at your own peril.

Perfect Arizona get away

Clean, comfortable, private, shower pressure great, slept very well. Visiting friends in Mesa & just needed a nice cozy place for rest. Location was great for all needs like groceries & gas, restaurants & so on. Thank you to our hosts

This Casita is very nice with lots of fun decor. The space was clean an inviting. The owner did anything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The location is great ans we had quite nights to get a good nights rest.

New Grand Baby

We were in Gilbert for birth of our grand baby. The Casita is nice and I enjoyed the private access as well as being able to walk our daughters dog around the property. There is quite a bit of artwork, Knick knacks and collectables but as someone who grew up around "sentimental clutter" as my mom used to call it, I enjoyed the vibe.D&D from SoCal

Excellent stay!

Roy was very accommodating during our stay. He provided us with a fan that I asked for, and the casita had all the amenities we needed! The casita was behind our own gate and he provided us with our own remote to open the gate and close it. There was also a nice a garage to park our car! The house was very clean! We will definitely be using this VRBO again in the future!

Could be fabulous but too much “stuff” stored within the casita. It felt too crowded for a small place. Felt like too many items. Also, some dog poop that wasn’t picked up made it difficult at night to see and avoid when walking on the property.
