Stayed two nights on tour. Good sized room and free wifi. Staff friendly. Only ate here for breakfast which was pretty good although a bit hit and miss. I think some of the breakfast staff were either trainees or working during school holidays, all were very friendly and enthusiastic even if at times absent minded. Offered good coffee which you ordered but sometimes it was forgotten and order of a boiled egg arrived after 15 minutes - definitely well boiled!! Found bacon was a bit like leather but sausages, scrambled eggs and pastries and breads all very good. Over all the good well outweighed the few blips which were quite amusing.

Hotel in a good position with a taxi rank outside. Room slightly tired, but spotlessly clean. Wifi is charged for, but talk nicely to reception! Victoria was especially helpful. No complimentary water in the room, which we found unusual for Australian hotels. We ate one meal in Senses - typical hotel prices, but food excellent and perfectly served by Francesca. Irish pub accessible from hotel, handy but not essential.

Staff at reception were friendly and efficient and the room was adequate without being great . Very small bathroom and a noisy air conditioner were drawbacks. A better quality coffee in the room would be most appreciated. Fenians bar the biggest letdown however being very dated and shabby, with staff dressed in a very unprofessional way. The food at Fenians very ordinary. It appears that most food comes straight out of a frozen packet and deep fried. Very little fresh or homemade options. On 2 occasions we were given cold meals one of which we sent back, the second time we just left it because we couldn’t be bothered sending it back. Having said that the staff throughout the hotel, including Fenians were friendly and helpful.

Reception were extremely helpful and friendly as always and we were well looked after in the restaurant by the Manager and restaurant staff for dinner and breakfast and our upgraded room was fantastic.

Stayed 3 nights as part of a Distant Journeys Tour of Australia. The hotel is very well placed but the one outstanding feature of this hotel was the quality of the staff; always helpful, honest and welcoming especially the young Irish staff member in the restaurant and the front of house desk who kindly arranged one of our independent tours to Rotness Island. The room was of a good size and had a side view of Swan Rive along with modern facilities all in good working order. I would recommend this hotel for a short break in the city.

My wife and I recently had 4 nights at the Novotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Great location with comfortable walking distance to CBD and nearby Quay. Breakfast was superb. Staff members at breakfast Alex and Sarah very pleasant and conscientious. Would stay here again.

The hotel is located near the CBD of Perth and is very near to the important bus stations to airport and the centre. Our room we quite run down, but everything functioned well. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is typical for these kind of hotels: buffet with everything you need as well as complimentary newspapers.

Don't know how I ended up here, but wasn't too happy. A rather old hotel that needs refurbishment. Internet was weak. The two restaurants (incl. one Irish pub) not my thing. The best part is probably the location, right in the business center.

We had a fabulous King room on top floor with views, comfy bed great gym and pool. Breakfast had anything you want cooked fresh. I recommend the omelet and freshly made latte also offered in takeaway cups when you leave. Jefferson and staff took wonderful care of us and made sure we had every thing we wanted . Also the free Cat Bus not far to travel our city free.

Great location, great food and great staff. it was a weekend away with the family for Australia day and we highly recommend it. It had a great little kids corner and the gym and has the best views in Perth.
