Four Points by Sheraton Perth

With an unexpected stay over in Perth last minute this hotel was perfect. Excellent service, spacious room, excellent king bed, and an excellent 4 star breakfast. An easy 10 minute walk to the centre of town or better still North bridge for restaurants, bars and beers. The spg membership was free and gave free in-room wifi.

From an easy and early check-in to being able to get changed after check out that afternoon, the hotel was very accommodating. The rooms are modern with a comfy bed/pillows, practical bathroom with hot water and great water pressure. The view from my room was basic, but it's nice to be recognized as an SPG member (level 5). The gym is reasonable, as is the food and drink at the Eatery attached to the hotel. I will be back on my next west coast jaunt, whether it's business or pleasure. A pool would be a nice addition should the hotel renovate/expand.

We stayed at Four Points for four nights in early April and found the position very central, the staff more that helpful and very friendly. The room was clean and the breakfasts very good. The CAT (free bus system) stop was just across the street. We didn't try the lobby bar as it really didn't have anything to attract us

Lovely greeting by the receptionist apon arrival, who went out of her way to find us a room even though we arrived ver early. Breakfast was excellent, the room quite large and a great view of Perth Arena. Nothing to fault here

We stayed here for two nights. We had a room with a king size bed directly opposite the Perth arena. I'm not sure how quiet the room would be on a concert night as we just missed Bruno Mars who played the night before. The room was massive and there was more than enough room to set up our port-a-cot. I think the room could have possibly had a folder out couch or even just a couch would have been nice. The room was extremely clean and had spares of everything. The only down side was that there was no mini bar. The hotel instead has this at the front desk or there is a mini mart open til 2am next door. There is a mini bar fridge and coffee/tea facilities but there was no milk in the fridge. The hotel is in walking distance to the CBD and train station, and also has plenty of street parking options. I would stay here again.

Our room has been nicely arranged beyond our expectation. The front office team are efficient, extremly friendly and helpful. Kudos to a Chinese lady who made a different. Conciearge are on one man show daily. They could have done better if adding charm through warm greetings on every arrival. Housekeeping also has done a wonderfull job to ensure our room clean and comfy all times. Avoid the bar at the lobby, there are many other bar which more value for money. Pro’s: - comfy room - great location. Convenience store, shopping centre, train and bus station - excellent room amenities (upon request) - friendly and helpful staffs - nice gym Con’s: - limited food and beverages option - no 24 hours in room dining - no pool Overall, hotel shows great value beside the lobby bar. Will return again

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly lady that welcomed us giving us an upgraded room and 2 bottles of wine for our 2 night stay. I have to say the room was spacious with lovely decor and massive walk in shower. The bed was king size with comfortable mattress and choice of pillows. We had dressing gowns and slippers supplied too. It was very modern with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We had breakfast included which had a good selection of dishes. You could also take advantage of having your eggs freshly cooked. Also Newspapers were supplied. Although the Hotel is a little further out of the main town area there is a free Cat bus running every 10 minutes which we took advantage of. We traveled from one end of Perth to the other visiting the Perth Mint, Elizabeth Quays, Water Town and many more places. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel who were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back to enjoy your hospitality again soon

We had booked a superior room with a king bed for three nights. The hotel is conveniently located - you can walk to the station, to the shopping district and to the Northbridge restaurant district. Or you can catch one of the free Perth buses at a bus stop nearby. Check-in was quick. Room 317 was spacious (32 m2) with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom, and we might have rated our stay as "excellent" if it had not been for the "view". When we drew aside the curtain after having settled down we noticed that it had not been closed to keep the heat out but to hide the fact that the window faced a concrete wall. It was a room with an ugly back alley vista... As we did not intend to spend much time in the room we did not ask for a room switch. Wrong decision as we noticed later in the night/early in the morning when the dust bins were filled/emptied with lots of noise... The breakfast buffet was what you would expect in a business hotel with international guests. There was a bit of an "issue" on the second day when the breakfast receptionist doubted that our booking included for free breakfast. But this was solved quickly and politely. We had a snack at the the bar on the first evening. It was alright for a snack after an exhausting day but is not what you would want for a nice dinner. All in all we were more than just satisfied. As three points would have been unfair and because "good" is not among the ratings we decided to allocate four points despite the described flaws.

We do our best to stay at SPG properties given my Lifetime Gold Status and the benefits we enjoy from the program. There are not a lot of choices in Perth and we wanted a good location given our short stay in the area. This hotel has a great location with walking proximity to the train station, CBD, Perth Arena (for events) and otherwise easy taxi service to other highlights like the beach, zoo, etc. This is an older building that has been updated and is in good condition, although the colors used are questionable. Hotel seemed clean and well managed. As an SPG member you get benefits on check-in which might include free internet, free drinks, free breakfast, etc. You also get a special recognition for your membership, late check-out and possible upgrades. None of these possible benefits were offered nor was I greeted like at other Starwood Hotels. The staff were not friendly and I even had to ask for SPG benefits offered, which were slim pickings. Breakfast is overpriced when you have so many options close by so we didn't eat there. We did eat at the pub for lunch one day and it was decent, but again lacking friendly staff. Would I stay here again? Maybe. I would first search for other brands in the area that were within my budget to compare. I wouldn't rule it out as a regular guest, but as an SPG Member with expectations for loyalty, I would consider my options.

Spent 3 nights here. Our first time in Perth. Booked it because we are Starwood members, and always look for starwood properties. Location seemed good downtown. We were able to do our check in online and room was ready when we arrived. We were on the 5th floor, no view to speak of, other than of condo buildings surrounding us. Room was spacious, bed was pretty comfortable, nice big shower. Room was very clean and quiet. Only complaint was a partial glass door separating the toilet from the room. So , to put it bluntly, anyone in the room knows what you are doing , even with the tv on. We really liked the location. It is across from Perth Arena which hosts a lot of concerts etc. Its just a couple blocks from the main pedestrian shopping areas. Also close to the train station , which is a destination in and of itself. New construction and its so beautiful. Nice cafes , restaurants etc there actually. We walked to most things and so we really enjoyed the location of the hotel. We definitely would stay here again. Good value for the money and good location.
