$40+tax a place to rest, bed was broke had 2 boards under it to help hold it, commode was unsteady it tilted, ice machine was broken, bathroom door was white in color but was black he did ask if I had a pet so I'm guessing they are aloud..All other places was full it's a last resort place. Had a breakfast buffet The Milk Jug and the juice was sitting in the sink with ice had 2 cereal dispensers and a coffee pot.
roaches 4 really big ones in room, mattress which was held up by ill fitting slats kept falling inward making sleep impossible, on the good side, mr patel was very very nice and helpful, arranging help to unload luggage, etc. except for above, room was good value, comfortable except for above. I really think mr patel just doesn't have finances to update certain rooms, so I would ask to visit my room before deciding to stay there.
I drove from SWFL to IN and this was my first stop. Me, my dog and my bird. I booked online and read the previous reviews and knew I was taking it a chance. It was a very good choice. It was safe, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and continental breakfast was available. I am a single female and this was my 1st road trip solo, I'm glad I found this gem and hope they keep their rates low. Thanks for the safe stay and welcoming me and my pets. Just so you know, this place isn't the Ritz but neither are the rates. It seems like it's half dwelling half hotel. I walked my dog in the a.m. and around the community kids were being walked to school, the area had a few restaurants to chose from and a gas station. Too this lodge is like 5 minutes from the expressway!
The first room had a broken heater and a TV that needed to be programmed. Once I called about the situation staff arrived within 5 minutes apologizing and moved me next door which had a new heater as well as a working TV. I was traveling with a toddler, 80 pd mutt and my husband to relocate. My options were limited. All the staff were very nice to us. It is a no frills hotel that works if you want a place to sleep that clean, cheap and accommodating.
We stayed here in December 2014. One of our beds would tip if you sat on one side and the toilet was not bolted to the floor. Akward to say the least. We had a pet for which we were charged an additional $10.00 which the older clerk pocketed without ringing it into the till. Other than that it was clean and quiet.
I had Danny the night clerk to show me a room before I would take it. It was clean and I felt well over the amount could be charged. Internet was fine and free. Danny was very helpful and understanding. I will stay there on my way back to FL in Sept. It is not the Waldorf but you did not pay for the Waldorf. It was clean and staff was polite.
We checked in reserved non smoking but non available beds were not comfortable and noise was bad. It was clean but not sparkling like it should have been but you get what you pay for only stayed 5 hrs then decided to hit road again...
It was time to pull over for the night. I chose the Perry exit and was happy to see a Knights Inn sign off to my right (we have stayed in this brand before). The lady night clerk was so kind, explaining the rules and offering their complimentary laundry. Who has that anymore?! There weren't many guests and we parked right in front of our door. Beds were good, shower was good, my only negative comment would be to wish for brighter lighting. This exit has many fast and regular restaurants if the small breakfast at the hotel isn't sufficient. I was very happy with the price and the whole experience was a pleasant one. I hope to stay here again.
I stayed at the Knight's Inn this past weekend for a dog show. The room was relatively clean & the staff was great. This is an older hotel but I saw that they were replacing furniture & beds so they are making improvements. The staff was great. Everyone was very friendly. The rates were more than reasonable & there were plenty of grassy areas to walk my dog. My room had a fridge & microwave as well as wifi which was fairly fast. More than adequate for my purposes. The mattresses in my room were older so they seemed a bit lopsided from use but again they are in the process of replacing these. I felt safe in the area which was a pleasant surprise. I was a bit leary based on other reviews that I had read.
just off the i-75 which was a great location check in was fast and smooth the owner was fantastic with us from check in to check out even let us take some breakfast stuff after in was finished room was clean and with a flat screen on the wall. it was a good stay for one night and the price was good to cheers
