Very Clean no frills room. Comfortable beds. Quiet area. Microwave and small fridge in room. Close to many popular restaurants, gas stations and I-75. Hot breakfast provided. Overall it was perfect for our traveling family of four. Friendly staff too!
Ok for one night. The bathroom wasn't super clean and the room could use some updating. The front desk was friendly enough, but couldn't recommend anything better than the Applebee's next door for dinner. The breakfast was uninspired.
Very clean, nice staff, comfortable, inexpensive, and excellent hot breakfast. The motel is older but well maintained. The breakfast area is very large and includes real eggs and sausage as well as waffles and usual carbs. Easy access to interstate. There is a restaurant next door and your motel key gives you a discount. I travel with earplugs, but some might want a room that does not face the highway.
I estimate this is at least a 50 year property (has a bathroom wall slot for used razor blades) that was a top end property in early years. Main level rooms have sliding glass doors to a patio and second floor rooms open onto a balcony. Construction is very solid so between room noise is minimal. Those rooms facing the interstate do get road noise thru the glass doors. The 2 bed rooms are large with 2 vanities, one outside the bathroom. For a lower end budget motel, the rooms were nicely decorated with new paint and carpeting within last 2 years. Beds were decent and towels were not too thin. The negative is poor care: toilet seat almost off the bowl, toilet tank so loose it wobbled, telephone not working, clock radio not working, TV reception mainly snow, faucet so plugged it mostly sprayed the counter top. Breakfast was basic as expected for a budget hotel. Nice breakfast room, but needs more light to brighten the atmosphere. Our booking thru Choice.com was for 2 rooms with each having 2 beds. Rooms assigned when we arrived had 1 bed only and adjoining rooms requested were ignored. The front desk reassigned us to proper rooms, except not adjoined, with no problem. The front office staff were excellent in the evening and morning.
Conveniently located off highway I75, however difficult to find once you exit ramp. Hotel coupon from welcome center was $49.99 but after taxes the total price $62 for a king size bed with microwave & refrigerator. The room was clean and presentable, however had a musty smell. They advertise hot breakfast but that's misleading. The hot breakfast was disappointing, consisted of donuts, white bread, boiled eggs, fake orange juice, cereal, waffles, some type of microwave sausage patties and coffee (no creamer or milk), just powder creamer.
The entire hotel smelled horrible. Had to go buy febreeze just to tolerate the odor. The pool is disgusting and the hot tub is drained. Breakfast is only served until 9 am and only includes waffles and boiled eggs. I cannot believe Choice Hotels allows this place to be associated with the brand.
Stayed here for the first time during the livestock show at the Ga National Fair. The owners were very nice & went above and beyond to fix the one problem we had, and the employees are friendly. Easy check in/check out. Reasonable price. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. Pets allowed, but I couldn't tell any had been in our rooms (very clean!!!). Indoor pool, decent breakfast, very convenient to fairgrounds. Will stay here again.
I was very happy with this Econo Lodge. I usually book 3 star hotels for one night trips and this one was just as pictured and was just as expected. Check-in was a breeze and the young lady up front was exceptionally nice! Just walked in, got my keys & unloaded the car. I really liked how there were balconies as well! A very nice convenience if you're staying on the ground level. It made unloading very easy & potty breaks for Mr. Puppy a breeze too! It didn't appear to be a questionable area and we didn't see any questionable people or activity - we felt sate. I wish I could say the same for the HoJo in Valdosta... The room was just as pictured - a bit dated, but for the price that's fine because everything was maintained and clean. I always check the mattress for nasty stuff and I didn't see anything at all. The bed was comfortable, there were enough towels and the handsoap was nice & smooth. A/C worked fine and the room was quiet. We were able to get a good nights sleep before our drive down to FL. Breakfast was simple, but good. Juice, cereal, donuts, a waffle maker, coffee.. just typical. The location was super accessible to the interstate. Getting to & leaving the property was nice and easy. I totally recommend this place for people who are ok with dated 3 star accommodations!
Currently here after leaving Ft Lauderdale to escape Hurricane Irma, and after a semi gross experience in Tifton, it's nice to be somewhere clean. Owners/Management/Staff are pleasant, breakfast surprisingly decent for an Econo Lodge, good wifi, and best of all pet friendly. So even as I worry, my cats are happy. Oh I should also mention the doors are solid and heavy and doorway is steel framed, parking lot at night is heavily lit, and rooms have a nice little patio. I would stay here again and feel safe if the same situation occurs, and knowing Florida it will.
Great stay. Needed a place just to sleep and rest overnight. Just off the interstate. Front person was very friendly. Didn't get to use the pool but the breakfast was good and the beds were very comfortable. We ate at Applebees next door that night for dinner. I would recommend staying there overnight. I went with the hotel ratings between the 3 hotels on that road. I would stay there again
