I love staying at Residence Inn hotels but the added attraction is the wonderful staff that work here. I have had to stay here several times and every time I have encountered very caring staff and people who went out of their way to be helpful. They have a great happy hour and a wonderful breakfast. When visiting Peoria this is the hotel to stay at.

Our room was clean and roomy, but didn't smell good. Our furniture was super uncomfortable and worn, and really needs to be updated! Having little kids, I felt more comfortable covering it with a sheet before they sat on furniture. Pool, workout, and main areas were nice. We were greeted by the most friendly gal serving dinner, and breakfast was great as well! Overall decent stay, rooms need new furniture!

I'm a long term stay here (30 days), but I've only been here 4 days. There is free breakfast every day: it ranges from oatmeal to bagels and cinnamon rolls, or eggs and toast and coffee, or you can make a waffle, but it's good. On top of that, if you stay Mon-Weds, there is a 'mixer', which means free supper and drinks as well. I've only met a few of the people who work here, but they have been absolutely amazing. Melissa, the evening desk lady is amazing, as well as Sheran (don't know how it's spelled, but she checked me in at about 3 am, and is also amazing). The older lady that runs the M-W supper mixer is the nicest person you would ever meet in your life. I guess my point is that everyone here has been incredibly nice and welcoming. The location is a little off the main path, but it is quiet and clean and the people are amazing! I rated location as 4 bc i appreciate the quiet location, but if you are here to party it may not be the best place, but I never asked about taxis etc.

We were just looking for a nice, pet friendly place to stop for the night on our way home from Virginia. We booked online, got a good price, and were pleasantly surprised by the suite we stayed in and the amenities. The location is a little tricky, as you have to access the property via a large shopping mall access road. I would suggest that anyone staying there either have a GPS navigation system, or look at the location in advance on google maps (in satellite mode) to see how to access the property. I did the second option, and had no problems finding the place. Also, the location, adjacent to the mall, means that guests have a wide variety of shopping and dining choices in close proximity. And the out of the way location actually felt very secluded and secure in relation to the busy urban setting around it. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, as we had to leave before they started serving.... but if the breakfast was on a par with the rest of our experience, I'm sure it was more than sufficient. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're passing through.

The room and amenities were typical Residence Inn quality, with a good breakfast, friendly staff, and clean hotel areas. We had a little difficulty finding the hotel, but were glad that it was a quiet location not too far from the freeway. We were disappointed with the evening reception, but the hostess was outgoing and friendly. A nice Courtyard was across the parking lot, but also across the parking lot was a scary low-end Baymont Inn, with questionable characters out till late at night.

My wife and I have been staying at the Residence Inn in Peoria for a while now. From the very first day we were treated as family by the people running the establishment. It is very clean and friendly, as well as comfortable. The staff is always ready and willing to make us feel welcomed and comfortable, and the breakfasts in the morning are awesome!! Our Shetland sheepdog really loves it there, and he is welcomed by the staff with treats at the front desk. The experience we have had here is way above anything we could have hoped. Also, the beds are great, and rooms are quiet!

Located about 10 minute drive from the airport, this RIs unassuming on the outside and located in an area with a couple of other Marriott properties. It has the typical basketball area, indoor pool, lobby, etc., of most other RIs and you can buy stuff int e 24 hour market if you're missing anything. What made this RI stand out was the service. Check in was smooth and easy and they basically welcomed me and 2 associates as we walked in the door and had us in our rooms in 5 minutes. And the woman who checked us in was very friendly and made us laugh. The room was spacious and clean. A very nice room compared to tons of others I've stayed in. They offered a free "social" dinner consisting of burgers and homemade coleslaw. The woman that organized and set up the dinner was maybe the most friendly woman ever. The bed, the reason we stay in hotels, was comfy and I was lulled into a 2 hour nap in the afternoon after arrival. I like this hotel, while standard on the outside its heart and soul are what make it a great hotel. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Which they would clean the room everyday. I guess by them not cleaning it feels more like home! Ha! Enjoyed the small kitchen but they should have everything in the room already. I have stayed in similar types and hate asking for everything all the time. Still like this type of room. Slow internet just FYI like .25mb

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and free. The pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing. Only complaint is that we had to use the pull out sofa bed for our two kids (ages 3 & 5), and it was quite old with the springs noticeably popping out. If for some reason, we (the parents/adults) were forced to use this, it would've made for a very poor stay; thankfully, the kids didn't mind. Other than that, everything else was perfect!

My wife and I were at the residence Inn for about 2 weeks during a relocation. We brought our 180 pound dog, so residence Inn being so pet friendly was great. The room was big and had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept. The pool and workout room were convenient. The breakfast was great and hot every day. The free dinner a couple nights of the week was convenient and the lady that works it might as well be your mom. The staff was super friendly to us and our dog. I'd say the only negative was the location. It's kind of weird and in this little hidden hotel area near a mall and highway. Overall a good place for a short or extended stay.
