Good location for us. The parking was free. The room was good but the bed pillows were tiny. The furnishing was minimal but adequate. The inside of the property has a somewhat old look.

Good location and attempt at an upscale boutique-like feel.

I like the rooms. The breakfast set-up was confusing though. It was in a restaurant but there was no host or sign that said “seat yourself.” I had to ask the fellow patrons for guidance. The staff at the front desk looked under-dressed and did not have a sophisticated concierge appearance, as I would have expected from this kind of hotel. I also had a couple of awkward experiences from the guests staying there - one time on the elevator, which are very slow, and once at breakfast. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my room. I used to love staying at this hotel, but I don’t think I will be staying again, unfortunately.

very nice hotel and great breakfast 👍👍👍 great view

Very quaint but not outdated. The staff were excellent. We felt incredibly welcome and will definitely be staying again.

The property was really worn out. Carpet in room was old and needed cleaning. Paint was peeling from the walls.

I thought this place was awesome! My room was very unique and laid out perfectly. Breakfast was also perfect ... I’ll be back

The property was very close to the places my wife and I planned on visiting for shopping, sporting event, eating and entertainment.

Close to river, larger than expected gym facility. Comfortable bed.

Room was just ok. Hoping for a better experience for $200/night.

Nice place, good breakfast buffet with made-to-order omelets. Room was comfortable and included microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Staff was friendly.

While the lobby is nice, everything goes downhill in the rooms. The wood fixtures were chipped, the window HVAC unit seemed to operate with a mind of its own, noise from the interstate was significant, and the carpet had started to curl up in high traffic areas. The burger from room service was a grease bomb. The stray hair in the shower that was there for two days and the running toilet indicates poor training of housekeeping staff as does the fact that only three hangers were provided. Hotel needs to stop worrying about being a boutique hotel and just get the fundamentals right.

this is a historic hotel so the rooms are a bit smaller than you would find out on the interstate but it makes up with its character and charm. Great attached restaurant and morning breakfast was very nice. had a great view of the sun rising on the river in the morning.

Beautiful older hotel with very nice rooms. Staff were extremely courteous.

At first step it was quaint. The girl behind the counter took care of us quickly and was nice and informative. The room with a view of the river was really nice for the price. Clean and spacious and the bed was comfy. Breakfast the next morning was amazing. Anything you could want was fresh and ready. Great saty.

Waited an hour to check in, as no one was at front desk when I arrived at about 10PM.....got off to a bad start. Seemed like an understaffed low budget hotel. In breakfast area, leaky pipe kept dripping on me, so some repairs needed. Breakfast staff was friendly. 60's architecture, some back dating in lobby, to a library, which was nice. Room was a bit roomier than most, bed comfortable, and bath updated nicely.

Was within walking distance of the event we were attending. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the internet was above average, the lobby decor was nice, good breakfast and the free drinks were not watered down. The only complaint was the room didn't have curtains and had blinds instead. Blinds don't block out the light as well and on top of that they didn't function properly so our room had a lot of light coming in while we were sleeping. Plus the A/C didn't have a constant fan setting so it kept turning off and on so every time it turned on or off it woke me up and I thought the room was a bit cramped.

It was nice, liked the Library. The staff was excellent.

Affordable, in the downtown area of Peoria, free breakfast.

The hotel was reasonably priced for such excellent lodging.
