Checked in late night staff very friendly.
The building, room, and furnishings were not new but very clean. Beds were comfortable. The bad part is there was a strong marijuana smell in several parts of the hotel. The first was right at the front desk and nearby bathroom. Others were in parts of the long hallway to our room. The smell is bad and gives a very seedy feel to the hotel, just like cigarette smoke would.
I booked these rooms for the wrong night. I immediately recognized this and started an online chat with Orbitz to cancel these rooms. Orbitz said they were unable to contact the property at the time and would contact me later. The next day I got an email saying I couldn’t cancel and there was nothing more I could do.

It was my birthday and the rooms wasn't the right room so instead of her fixing it she was totally rude and told me that she wasn't gone fix the rooms. Then she was giving me info about room and told me I had to be out the pool by 11 than a white couple came behind me and she told them 12. I remember this lady I tried to get a room before and this same lady turned me down for no reason. But I will never pay 200 for any room here again
Hote was fine for what we needed. Close to Louisvile Slugger Complex. We also visited the Peoria Zoo during some down time. Breakfast coupons were provided for Perkins across the lot. Hotel is dated, but overall it was a good experience. staff was very friendly.
We have stayed at this hotel for several years now and I must say that it is starting to show its age. The entrance and parking area are in need of repair. The entrance on the far end of the hotel would not read the room card for entrance. The carpet in the hallways is wrinkled in several places. Breakfast choices were adequate, but nothing special. We stayed 2 nights and only ate breakfast there the 1st morning and decided to go elsewhere the 2nd morning. Will more than likely stay somewhere else next time we go to Peoria.
