Charming, comfortable, clean and conveniently located. Responsive hosts. Great nearby restaurants and close to downtown Peoria (came in from Chicago for St. Jude Runs fundraising event).

Short stay

Stayed for a week on business. Area was quiet, and near to the central Heights area. Will consider the spot again on my trips to the area.

Family reunion trip

We enjoyed our stay in Peoria for a nearby family reunion. I recommend going inside the beautiful Saint Mary’s cathedral. Looks like something you would see in Europe.

Great Stay

The property was very nice and the host was very nice and helpful. Only minor setback was availability of plug ins in the bedroom. Needed an extension cord or power strip out to be usable. House was extremely clean and had all we needed. I highly recommend the property if you are needing a place to stay in Peoria heights.

Charming home

The home was exactly what we needed for our trip to visit family in Peoria. There was ample space for us to spread out and have areas where the kids could separate from each other. As noted in other reviews, power can be a challenge but one that was easily overcome with extension cords. Joseph was responsive to questions and the checkout process was as easy as can be. We definitely appreciated the fact that it is just off of the main roads as it made for simple trips to certain things especially downtown Peoria Heights.

The property was advertised as an oasis. While the beds were comfortable and overall the property was clean, on the Friday evening we arrived, the front and back yard were unmowed, and the lights in the dining room, kitchen and oven hood did not work. Several lamps throughout the property were missing light bulbs. A towel holder in the half bath was not secure to the wall. There were extra pillows but no extra pillow cases, there was a pile of laundry in the laundry room, the bottom fridge drawers were iced to the bottom, rendering them unusable, there was no dish soap, hot pads or extra dish towels as shown in the pictures, and the kitchen floor was dirty. We called property management about these issues and were told someone would be out on Saturday around 9. By 10 no one had shown, so we went to visit relatives and pick up the rest of out party. Upon our return, they had mowed and left a bag at the front door with two pillow cases, but none of the other issues had been resolved. I texted management and was told they would work to resolve issues.Saturday night, my husband fixed the lighting and fridge issues.Maintenance showed up around 9 am Sunday and took care of light bulbs and the lose towel hanger, then the tv stopped working. There were several more texts back and forth with management until we left on Monday, but the tv and other kitchen/laundry issues were not resolved.I spent a good amount of time addressing these issues during our stay. No oasis for me.

We picked this place all on location to be close to family. Let me start by the host did communicate back with me to try and make things right. I will say he did try. Just upon checking in there were 3 guys in the place at 430 doing maintenance and a car in the driveway with a couple of people . When asked they said they run the errands for them. They were spraying for bugs , which to me was no problem but to it should have been done before checking in. When I arrived the house smelled . Almost like a damp wet basement smell and never smelled any better throughout the stay. The shower curtain was mildew and stained . We did call the host they came back and recleaned but it still wasn’t the best. There were half rolls of toilet paper no extra, no trash bags only the one in the can. I think they need dish. Lot he’s and towels in the kitchen . The front door was full of cob webs and needed cleaned really bad along with window on door and the trash picked up in the yard. They did come back and reclean the tub and the pee on the toilets. Like I said the host was nice and did try. They definitely need curtains in the kitchen and going up the stairwell. We were in the kitchen and there was a guy in the alley walking by and was looking in. The decor was nice and modern. Honestly I felt like the host did try or otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed. My family wanted to go to an hotel, just because of the smell.
