We checked in and the lady at the front desk gave us excellent customer service. Following night upon returning to the hotel we discovered a small cockroach on the wall of the hotel room. The next morning I informed the front desk of the situation. The lady at the front desk told me that this is normal for Florida in the summer and that the hotel was sprayed two days ago. She was everything but a good customer service representative. The third night when I return to the hotel I discovered two adult cockroaches by the air conditioning unit and also notice that the speakers on the television were broken. The next morning I am informed the front desk of this issue. This time it was a different lady who was very receptive to my complaint. She immediately called the hotel management and inform them of the situation and offered me a change of room if I wanted it. I refuse because I figured if they are roaches in my room there are probably roaches in the other rooms as well. Also my family and I left the hotel later one day around 11:00 and the cleaning staff came to the room around 10. We asked if they could come back in1-2 hours and he told us they were really busy, the hotel only had 60-70 rooms and check out is at 11 and checkout is at 4. The last last day when I checked out I told the front desk about the tv and the only thing she said "that's unfortunate". She was right. I would never stay at this hotel again not suggest it to anyone. The hotel looked rundown and could use so

I booked this last minute and they got me a room for a good price and got me in a nice comfortable king size bed that was very enjoyable staff was very nice and check out was easy.
Not exactly a place I'd stay again, but worked in a pinch. Smelly, noisy...just satisfactory.
I chose this hotel based on it's proximity to Correy Station in Pensacola, which I imagine is what most of their guests do. If location is your top priority, this hotel is going to be just fine. The hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean, had a flat screen TV, and the beds were comfortable enough. I would choose this hotel again for location, though I could probably get a nicer hotel elsewhere in town for the same price.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a visit with my brother. The hotel was seconds from the entrance to the base and is completely walkable to get there. We also chose this hotel due to it's dog friendly policy which was wonderful. While the room was damp and dingy, it was adequate for our purpose. Besides location to base the shining star here is the free continental breakfast. The area was very clean and there were many choices for food. This hotel is a decent value for the money & I would consider it again.
1. I requested a non smoking room, but it was not available when I checked in at 4pm. I was told none would be available. 2. The morning front desk clerk was not very customer service friendly. 3. I requested towels and was told on two sets of towels per room. 4. I was on the third floor and the hotel does not have an elevator.
the room was large enough and well furnished...two full sized beds, cable tv, refrigerator, iron, coffee pot, etc. It was clean. The service was friendly. the swimming pool was a little snall but nice. For an inexpensive hotel as it was, the free breakfast was fantastic, with eggs, waffles, pastries, cereal, sausage, juice. etc. I would certainly come back to this Quality Inn. Thanks for making such a rainy weekend in Pensacola a good trip anyway.

We used this as a sleep only weekend while visiting area. Was not impressed with cleanliness, ie: bathroom floor and tub dirty. The housecleaning staff was apologetic but floor was not cleaned that day, I cleaned it. Broken lamp that sparked. Dresser and end table drawers did not stay closed. Needs updated repairs badly. Breakfast bar had a nice lay out. Staff was very polite.
When I first walked in there was a couple that was in an argument with the front desk clerks. It was about how the hotel does not allow more then 2 adults to a queen size room that has to beds... So that gave a great first impression. Then I was put into a smoking room that did not have a tv with RCA jacks... I was able to swap to a room with a non smoking room after I called back down. Just be warned that this is a hotel on the cheaper side.
It was very convenient for us to drive to Pensacola beach. The weekend we stayed was Blue Angels Air Show weekend. The price range and the distance were perfectly matched. Breakfast was nice enough and room service was OK. Friendly staff and Wal-Mart was very near for extra shopping!

We booked the hotel, hoping to be close to Pensacola Beach for a short weekend vacation. However, we were further away than we would have liked and it was hard to navigate to and from Pensacola Beach. The staff was very friendly and nice for the most part, but we were disappointed with the condition of the room. The furniture was worn/chipped. The towel rack and shower curtain rod were very loose and about to fall out of the wall. There was a sliding door (accordion door)to the bathroom with a big hole in it (like it had been punched in). There was another hole on a wall in the room as well. We were disappointed in our stay at this hotel because though it was less expensive than the beachfront hotels, it wasn't the lowest priced hotel there, and therefore, we felt that it should have been better for the money that we paid. We actually decided to leave a day early. We arrived at the checkout desk at 4:04 p.m. and since we didn't arrive at the desk at exactly 4:00 p.m., we did not get a refund for that night. But, this is what there cancellation policy stated, so I guess we could not really expect any different. Also, when we left the hotel, there were beer bottles and a beer box littering the stairway. This definitely was not the ideal place to stay for a couple trying to save money. I would definitely go ahead and pay the extra money to get a nice hotel on the beach rather than stay here.
All in all this was a nice hotel to stay at. The price was right and the location is great if you are visiting someone at the Naval Air Station. It was my first time ever in Florida and my first time ever visiting my boyfriend since he joined the marines. The lady at the front desk was very helpful in guiding me in the right direction. After all the N.A.S. is just down the road. Very easy to find. I never got a chance to use the pool or have the free breakfast, but I'm sure they are good. I would book a hotel room here again if I ever have to.
