Our beach house sleeps 10 comfortably and is located on the beautiful ‘Grand Lagoon’ in Perdido Key, Pensacola, Florida. The property is near the Pensacola Naval Air Station (the Blue Angels practice right outside our home frequently) and close to all attractions Pensacola has to offer.

Things to do nearby!

Time on the water:
- Southwind Marina is 100 yards away; boaters are welcome.
- Paddleboarding, jet skiing, sailing, and deep-sea fishing at Rock Bottom Charters, Blue Dolphin Cruises, and Big Lagoon Jet Ski rental (1 mi).
- Big Lagoon State Park (1 mi) and famous Johnson’s Beach (with its sugar-white sand directly on the Gulf of Mexico) is a quick 2 miles away. Gulf Islands National Seashore Park (2 mi) is a beautiful wild stretch of sand referred to as a ‘treasure’ among the more developed beaches in the area, offers hiking, biking trails, kayaking, snorkeling, wild-watching, and Ranger-led tours.

Eating and drinking:
- Local breweries include Gary’s Brewery and Biergarten on Gulf Beach Highway and Pensacola Bay Brewery.
- Blue Bayou Coffee Company on Gulf Beach Highway
- Jaco’s, an upscale fine dining facility, is just down the road.
- For the gourmet, a visit to Joe Paddy’s Seafood reveals the freshest seafood selections arriving daily on its shrimp boat fleet.
- Famous Flora-Bama (7 mi) hosts weekly live concerts on the beach, is a popular hot spot and dance venue.

Sporting:
- Golfing opportunities can be found at Lost Key Golf Club (3 mi) and Perdido Bay Golf Club (2 mi).
- Public tennis courts are available all around Pensacola, and private coaching is available at Roger Scott Tennis Center.
- Perdido Key Children’s Park is within walking distance of our home.
- AA Pensacola Wahoos minor league baseball (Miami Marlins farm team) is a popular family attraction.

Arts and Culture:
- The world famous National Naval Aviation Museum (at1 mi) is an absolute must-see attraction. The Pensacola Lighthouse is also on base and a popular spot.
- Downtown historic Seville Square is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites and features a gazebo for local free concerts and festivals.
- T. T. Wentworth Museum, located in Plaza Ferdinand VII, is part of the historic Pensacola Village Museum complex.

Local excursions:
- The Pensacola Beach Boardwalk is a 15 mile drive and Santa Rosa Island is a popular day trip.
- Orange Beach, Alabama is a 15 mile drive and popular excursion for beaching on the Gulf, dining, and souvenir shopping.
- New Orleans is a 3 hour drive and easy overnight trip.
