Mixed experiences here, below are few pros & cons about the hotel, hope it would help others. Pros: Room was very clean & spacious Good quality bed Space for balcony sitting Good place for family stay Swimming pool was really good. - Although I dint use ;) Lot of play area for children, cause its a part of resident apartment. Away from buzzing areas - if u are looking for peace in Pattaya, This could be one. Cons: Service was poor Staffs need to be lil friendly - very few good staffs Zero Wifi during my stay. Taxis could not understand the address They consider it is in Naklua area - by default it's far from them (Cab / Motor Bike Taxi) So you may end up paying more charges Suggestion: You can name near by landmarks (atleast 3 landmarks) so the taxi could understand & reduce some amount. If you dont care about anything & just want a good stay far from buzzing areas, this place would be nice for you.
We have stayed their for 3 nights, though overall stay and accommodation was good except bathroom which had little plumbing issues. Nevertheless there was little difficulty in dealing with staff who is not welcoming and they hardly speak in English.. check in time is 2 pm and they are stick to it. pool area is amazing..

I stayed at this hotel to meet a friend in Pattaya. However, it was not as great as it looked. For a rather new hotel, the facilities, especially the pool were not well looked after. At check-in I noticed most of the staff had limited sufficiency in English. The rooms were clean with with a spacious balcony and a tv with English channels. However, the shower was tiny and the water temperature very irregular. Also, a room maid entered my room without permission, this is not acceptable. The area is not interesting at all, and the people consist of small families and older folks. It's quite a distance from the city as well. Only stay here if you need to be in the area, for vacation purposes stick to another area and hotel!
This place is located @ wongamat in pattaya. Its a little far from the city center and the other places of tourist intrest like the walking street and beach road. Its very peaceful. Looks like a place used for long stays. Lots of rooms. Looks more of a residencial group housing than a hotel. The best part is the swimming pool, it double levelled and huge with a pool facing restraunt. The staff is courteous and its a secure premises with watchmen in front pf every tower. In all a nice place to stay.
A hotel which caters almost solely for coach parties of Taiwanese and South Koreans who are on a rapid tour of Thailand . The hotel is only interested in getting the beds filled , the guests out as quickly as possible and await the next coach to arrive . This hotel is not interested in attending to individual travellers . The reception staff are nothing short of rude and have absolutely no idea how to treat guests ..Don't care attitude through and through ! On the contrary the restaurant staff are very attentive but that in no way makes up for the short falls in other domains of this hotel . The food served in the buffet bar is very repetative and IN ESSENCE GEARED TOWARDS THE GUESTS FROM TAIWAN AND SOUTH kOREA. The bedrooms are big but have no safe deposit boxes and the furnishings are very basic . The fitness room is an absolute disaster area with the majoriy of the equipment out of service or broken ! The swimming pool has just been cleaned after months of problems , the water turned green and the tiles in and around the pool itself were covered in green mould. The sun loungers are in most part broken and there is a nasty smell which penetrates , this is coming from the over spill drain which surrounds the swimming pool. This hotel was never designed to be a hotel , it was constructed with the view of selling the units as small condos to the Russians and whoever else , but the owner could not dispose of a large number of the units due to an over supply of similar properties in the area and the crash in the market . So he created the hotel as an after thought and flogs room occupancy to the travel agents in S.E.Asia. Quantity over quality ! Make no mistake ..there are far better places to spend your hard earnt money .
After arriving to a glass of champange and delicious nibbles, we were booked in and taken to our room, It was a vast space with excellent furnishings. Silk sheets on the bed. Excellent views from balcony over looking gardens. Breakfast delicious, My friend Stuart also stayed in a different room, and was also amazed. Would fully recommend, Go Wongamat!
This is a fantastic hotel at very reasonable rates. The agent that recommanded it to us said, it has the best price-value relation anf he was right. The rooms are gigantic, ceramic floor, big bathroom with shower and bathtub, a big double pool in the garden, a (small) spa and a tennis court. The only drawback is the cost for internet (WIFI) they charge 200 baht per hour but bargaining helped ;-)
There is still major construction work being carried on at this location, with builders hoardings placed along the side of the pool not shown in pictures of the property. Behind this, a further block of apartments is being constructed & this work takes place from dawn until the late evening. Sunbathing & swimming at this property is not a particularly private or comfortable experience, with many building workers staring down at you. Shining Star (the group who are developing this property) are being very naughty to allow people & hotel booking agencies to think this property is completed, let alone suitable for a relaxed holiday. When we arrived, we couldn't believe our eyes or ears & immediately told them we would not be staying, despite them suddenly offering us the accommodation package @ just 1000THB per night. Even when completed this property may well still not be that great for a holiday, as it is located in a very 'desolate' area & a fair walk away from both beach & shops/bars/etc. We moved to the Sunshine Garden Resort & had a wonderful holiday.
