we have just came back from Thailand last week this was our third time, hotel was very good ,staff are really friendly, rooms were large ,food was good ,hotel was 5 -10 mins from beach, free internet, hotel was a good location for all amenities the only downside was that our room used to feel as if it was the last one to get cleaned about 530/6 pm and after a day out we just wanted to relax but felt we couldn't until the room was cleaned but please our intentions are not to put people off i can assure you this is a nice hotel and would recommend it to anyone and after all a holiday to Thailand would be an exciting trip cannot wait to go back
We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights in September & stayed in Room 528A. Pros- the staff are really friendly & helpful & always had a smile on their faces. Check in was easy with no problems. On our last day check out was at 10.30 however our pick up transfer wasn't until 16.00 & our Rep arranged for us to stay in our room until 14.00 when we came & sat down in the lobby & checked out the receptionist said we could have arranged to stay in our room until 15.00 which we were unaware of & she very kindly brought us a glass of juice free while we waited. The hotel location was very good in walking distance to the beach & shops with a 7-11 shop just outside the hotel. Breakfast had a good choice of food from European through to Chinese. Free wifi provided. Cons- the downside to this hotel & for the low rating was for the room our room was a joining room with a connecting door which was locked & secure however on wed before we left we had inconsiderate guests in room 528B who did not think of other guests by coming back to their room late & slamming the door not once but twice & then continued to talk very loudly the hotel room walls were very thin there was no point in complaining as we were due to leave in 2 days...the room walls are thin & if you get offered a room with an adjoining door ask to be moved. The room itself was good plenty of space, however we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom there was mould around the bath & the vent under the bath was full of dust. Also we noticed that there was a stain on the duvet which was a large blood stain (not good) but we spoke with reception & they were very prompt in coming to the room to change it & were apologetic. In our opinion this is not a 4 star hotel.
We did not know what to expect from this hotel as it was our first Centara experience. The reception was a little unfriendly as they did not converse well in English and required a deposit due to a misunderstanding. It is understandable to ask for a key deposit but not 1000thb per night. Most hotels secure your key deposit with a credit card. Our room was not ready yet, and we had to wait. Surprisingly we were upgraded and received a beautifull room. The reception areas and passages are a bit dark. A very good breakfast is served. Room very comfortable and good quality bed and bathroom anemities. The pool is small, but good enough to cool down or swim a few lengths. Walking distance to the beach, shops and nightlife. We will surely return to this hotel.
Currently staying at this hotel for 4 nights. Beautiful hotel everything you need. Rooms lovely breakfast plenty to choose from staff welcoming and helpful. Spa is fantastic but what a shame about the beach full off debris and rubbish it as the pictures show really disappointing!
Got a very good deal from centaradeals website. The hotel is located in Central Pattaya. Clean room, Nice staffs with good service mind, and Good breakfast. Hotel's facilities are ok, but the steam room seems to have a problem.
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Far enough away from the main drag but still close enough to walk. Friendly helpful staff. Nice little balcony to sit in the evening or early morning. Nice pool area with gym, showers and pools towels. Great selection for buffet breakfast
We checked in to this hotel on 28.08.2017 and checked out on 31.08.2017. Our room number was 506B. The property is centrally located and quite close to the famous Alcazar Show. You will find a good market near the hotel although the beach is little far away. The rooms are nicely maintained and quite spacious too. All rooms are attached with a balcony which is an additional advantage. The check in and check out process was quite smooth. Inside the hotel it gives the feeling of an Indian hotel as every where you will find the basic instruction are written in Hindi. The only reason for giving 4* is the morning breakfast. Although the spread was good but almost every day the menu was all the same. Overall a nice experience with Cetara Pattaya Hotel and would love to stay again.
We stayed at the Centara Hotel Pattaya and it was great value.. The rooms were a good size and kept spotless. The food was always quality and it is worth having dinner at the restaurant at least once. Free wifi is great. The pool is open 7am to 7pm and the swim up bar is awesim and also daily happy hours add to the already great value. I would certainly recommend a stay here when in Pattaya.
I stayed at the Centara Pattaya Hotel the first weekend of September 2017. It is a great choice located close to Second Road and Beach Road. Also there is a 7-11 and many mototaxis nearby for convenience. The Pros: The Staff - I arrived a couple of hours before check-in and was hoping the hotel could secure my bag until check-in but instead they went out of their way to locate a room for me. It was not the room I reserved, but it was a great one nonetheless and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I could check when I arrived. During my stay everyone working there that I encountered was friendly, professional, and did their best to make my stay a great one. The Room - While not the room I originally booked, which is my fault for arriving early, the room I received was quite nice and definitely met all of my needs. It was roomy, clean, and the air conditioning worked great. The beds were huge and comfortable, it actually seemed a waste since I was the only one in there. The complimentary dragon fruit were also a nice touch and my first time having them. The Cons: There were only a couple of minor things with the room that bothered me, but not enough to make a fuss. One, the drain in the shower didn't seem like it was capable of keeping up with the output of water, so I felt obliged to turn it off halfway through showering or would end up with my own personal lake in the bathroom. The second was that the door would occasionally get stuck on the lock and I would have to slam it in order to get it to close. Slamming hotel doors is a pet peeve of mine and I hate doing it. The second issue was not the fault of the hotel in any way, but the room I had was an adjoining one, meaning there was a set of doors between my room and the next one. They were locked and secured on both sides but it did allow some noise from the other room to come through. The first night I listened to my neighbor whine loudly in Italian to his friend about his family from 3am to 6am. It was annoying but I travel with earplugs for a reason. Luckily the second and third nights "Whiney" as I called him found a friend and I heard his nighttime activities, which luckily for me but unluckily for him only lasted about 5 minutes and then all was quiet. Again, not the hotels fault, and yes I could have asked for a different room but it wasn't worth the hassle to me. Just something for other visitors to consider when booking with regards to the existence of adjoining rooms. Overall I had a great stay, and to address the comments I read about the place being full of Indians, yes, there were people from India staying there, but there were also people from Europe, the USA, Russia, and Asia staying there. Most of the other guests I met were nice and not overtly rude. It is important to realize that other cultures have different standards than yours. It might also be prudent for people from the West to stop assuming they are the only one's privileged to travel the world, but that's just my 2 cents. I would definitely stay here again, it is a great value and a wonderful hotel.
The location of was perfect as right in the middle of Pattaya next to convenience store, restaurants, streetfood and near beach and shopping mall and everything. Inside the hotel was all international standard with great choice of facilities and a smart big room.
