Well we are currently staying at the Aya Boutique hotel in Pattaya in Room 309. Outside our windows and balcony are 3 enormous heat exchanger units from the shopping centre next door. These have fans that are constantly ramping up and down to meet the cooling requirements of a multi level shopping centre. Consider your booking carefully!
Good hotel in great location, near the beach and the Walking Street. The rooms are small and clean, with nice bathroom. The staffs were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was quite ok. The indoor pool is very small and dark. The negative point is the noise from restaurants and bar in front of the hotel. Booking was easy, fast and instant with Pallapa Kidla-iad, the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Clean & near of walking street and beach friendly staff. I will recommend this hotel to my friends who will go for short vacation or for short stay. There is a restaurant but I think only for Asian food. Good swimming pool with good view
Quite large modern rooms. Only downsides are the shower and breakfast. The ensuite shower is long and narrow, with the faucet on the narrow side facing the door and you can't stop water getting out onto the floor. Breakfast buffet offers a bit of European and a bit of Thai without being good at anything. So if not fussy, then can eat plenty. Light comes in sides of drapes We asked for non-smoking rooms and 3 of given smoking rooms and had to move
Aya boutiqe provide a stellar services and location of the building is absolutely great , but in my humble opinion it is 10 - 15 $ higher in the price more than a great hotel I've stayed in like Belaire hotel who provide same services with a lesser money , I will always cherish the days I've stayed in aya b. Hotel and I will always check it first every time I am in pattaya but the price will have a big impact on my decision , once again aya boutique hotel is really good but a bit expensive .
I came to Pattaya for Songkran (Thai New Year), and I picked Aya because it looked like it was in a good location. IT IS!!! Aya Boutique Hotel is within walking distance of the Royal Garden Mall, the beach, and Walking Street. The staff (at the time of this review) was very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The taxi from the airport to the hotel was 1700 bhat. The room was a little bit smaller than I thought it would be. But all in all I really like this Hotel.
Nice and secured place to stay... Very near to Beach and Walking street. Good hospitality, cleanliness . Staffs are always ready to help ! You will be finding lot of good entertaining things close to the hotel.
I booked a room last minute, and while checking in realized that I forgot my passport at my friends hotel that was 5 miles away. They were very accommodating and allowed me to still check in after gathering some information. The room was great and modern and I enjoyed my stay. They also let me check out an hour later at 1pm. It is close enough to the fun (Walking Street + Central Festival) and is on a quiet street where sleeping is no problem. If back in Pattaya, I would definitely stay here again!
Stayed here a couple of nights when I should've stayed for 5 nights. Check in staff were quite attentive and the room somewhat spacious. I was provided a room on the 3rd floor which is the same floor the swimming pool is on. Be warned, though, this is also the smoking floor. The hotel is located on a soi that's inaccessible by vehicles during the evening hours. So hailing a taxi back to the airport or Bangkok would have you walking to the main street. The rooms could use a bit tidying up as at looked mostly worn from wear and tear. All in all, a decent hotel if you're looking to stay near walking street.
This was my second time I chose this hotel, mainly because of the location.. but everyhing has its limit and price. Had enough this time. First time the hotel seemed far cleaner than this time. especially in the hallways and in the Loby there was lots of dust along the edges that matched hotel bad because it's not a 1 star hotel. At night it was very dark i the hallways, especially in my floor. They should consider better lighting. Elevators was good. The room smelled too much perfume. dont know if that was because of their room-cleaning soap or they just spray the rooms with this smell. Breakfast was exactly the same as last time. all week the same almost, they change 2 small dishes, with really the same, nodles without wegetables and such.. (very "creative") Incredibly boring. if you eat early as I do, around 07 so do expect tomato beans to be cold and other small dishes. The are warmed by small candles underneath. The cleaning staff was always very nice and greeted nicely! The young ladys behind the check-in counter was periodically more keen to giggle and joke in between as when guests turns around at the counter or waiting for the elevator. VERY unprofessional. Never seen anything like this, I hope they didnt joked at paying guests. And Yeah...if you want transportation to Bangkok or the airport do not use the hotel. it costs 2500 baht to Bangkok. I did that mistake last year. They sent a driver in a relative old Toyota to drive med to Bangkok. I guess he was around 70 years and cleary tired. He stopped by a 7/11, bought coffee and said it was his fourth trip to bangkok. he was clearly exhausted. It was the worst trip ever, because I was constantly afraid of dangerous traffic situations and had to constantly watch out for the driver and front. He talked loud on his cell phone using his handsfree before i told him to put on some music so he would end the call. Here I am and paying 2,500 Baht and in addition I have to sit and listen to him talk on the mobile entire trip. this made me annoyed. Total ripp off by the hotel. And the hotel demand prepayment. So if u chose to hop off, you have allready paid off.. Did not enjoy the ride at all... They should be ashamed of using this driver and putting their guests life in danger. Dont have his name, but he is tall with a lot of white spike haired og his back is kind of bent , like mr Burns in the simpsons. This time, however, I chose a taxi right outside and paid only 1200 baht for a nice ride to Bangkok. That was perfect. So if your not depended on being next to the beach i would condsider something else.. I would not stay here again.
