Good location with bad services The hotel was so old, our safety box had a problem and nobody repaired it, that was't any ventilation in bath and toilet. there is no bar, spa in there. you can book better hotel in Pattaya with this price.
The place was good but the hotel was so old and dirty! Every things was old and not work correctly specially the bath and w.c there is not bar! Spa! And notting that must be there. Only the staff was so so and garden. The pool was poor without music and tv in room was so old and did not work correctly. I do not recommend the hotel to any body. With this money you can go to very better hotel in pattaya.
We stayed 9 nights and loved it. I will admit the Hotel is looking a bit tired but it's still clean and the staff are wonderful. Buffet breakfast was certainly varied and provided many choices. The highlights are the pool and views (from every room). You can walk out either entrance and find restaurants or bars and jump on baht bus or taxi and get most places. I would recommend the staff at the pool bar/towel hut understand English to make communication a bit easier - although I realise there are a lot of people from European counties and Asian countries as well. Highly recommend a visit to Hard Rock Hotels BBQ buffet (next door) and must try the cream horns from the on site cake shop!!! Would stay again.
Yes this is a older hotel but with that you get large grounds, large rooms, polite uniformed staff and a great buffet breakfast. This place is clean, the rooms are large, the bed is comfortable, We only had two pillows asked for two more and this was done swiftly and with no problem. There is no rain shower but there is a shower and tub, it's not boutique it's a "proper" hotel. It's set is nice grounds with large trees, ponds and a large swimming pool. At the beach end are manned gates onto Beach Road .The Wifi was good too with 3 log ins per sign in. We were on the 11th floor and the view from the room was fantastic across Pattaya Bay. There are loads of restaurants only a short walk away as well as Central shopping mall. The car park is ample . The buffet breakfast was good, choice of eggs, different hot foods as well as breads, fruits and salad.. Must say we were impressed with everything, we found it difficult to thing of anything negative to write. We will stay there again
This was a return visit to the Imperial and this time was enjoyable as the first. My thanks to Madam Wongyai and her staff who made my stay so pleasant. Although this visit was spent mostly relaxing by the pool, the hotel has a great location for all the services and amenities Pattaya has to offer. Looking forward to returning to this hotel.
The Imperial hotel formerly known as the Montien is a well known hotel for us. We have stayed at this hotel many times before, but this was the first time under the brand Imperial. The hotel itself has a brilliant location, smack in the center of beach road. All rooms are faced towards the ocean. I love sitting on the veranda and enjoying the sunset. The hotel really needs to be refurbished, everything is worn and some things are worn down. But if you are travelling on a budget but want a feel of luxury this is a good choice. There are three pools. On kids pool, a jacuzzi and a large pool with a maximum depth of 2.5 meters. The breakfast is pretty average and the kitchen is what has lost the most quality since the Montien sold the building to Imperial. The rooms price is at about 2500 bath a day, this is really cheap in Pattaya. At that price the hotel is more than good enough. The hotel has really good location from both sides of the hotel. The English skills of the staff is pretty poor and they seemed a bit under staffed at the moment. There is a long wait for help if you want to order anything once at the pool. They get three points based on price and location. For us a family of five it was good, but not sure if we will book again before the improve the quality of the building and the surrounding assets. Totally up to you.
This hotel is across the street from the beach and a walking distance from the busiest street in Pattaya. The restaurants are good but my favorite is Hopf Brew house. 219 Beach Rd, Muang Pattaya, Amphoe Bang Lamung, Chang Wat Chon Buri 2015. Great food and excellent ambiance if you are there to enjoy other than the busiest street of Pattaya. Have a question ask me? Hooters is there too but expensive. Other places that are walking distance from the hotel are Macdonald and of course the famous 7/11 which as usual is around every corner in Thailand.
Very nice and big hotel with good amenities. Clean rooms .Sea view room at 11th floor was amazing, sitting in balcony and enjoying drinks with a beautiful view was a bonus. The staff were very nice.On the first day we woke up late as checked in the hotel late night we reached the buffet breakfast at 10 05 and they had almost closed the buffet, but they still provided us breakfast on request.Very understanding and amazing staff specially the restaurant Manager .The breakfast was also good with different varieties of breads , sausages ,choice of eggs , juices , noodles. The hotel has 2 gates , the back side of which opens to beach road.Just cross the road and you are on the beach , 5 minutes to central festival , 10 min to walking street. Many restaurants , 7-11 , family mart stores nearby.3 swimming pools of different sizes .Will surely come back to this hotel if stayed in pattaya again. Thanks to the staff for amazing stay.
It is a nice mid range hotel situated near but not too near the main "attractions" of Pattaya. Quire pleasant with good rooms. It is new reincarnation of the Pattaya Montien Hotel. But under the new management it is well run and offers pleasant experience. Easy walking along the Beach Road to wherever you may wish to be in Pattaya. But well separated from the noisiest rowdiest part of Pattaya. Good bargain. A very pleasant lobby and a few restaurants/bars. Good swimming pool and all typical services. Breakfast is OK.
We were a group of 20 who stayed at the hotel couple of weeks back and we were very happy with what we got. As requested, we got rooms on the 9th floor with beautiful view of the sea. Rooms are nice, clean and cosy We had only breakfast at the hotel and it was the same on all three days, which is something that Indian tourists would not be used to since there is only the standard fare of eggs, breads, croissants etc, in what we could have, but it was good nevertheless Not many people were staying so it wasn't very crowded The hotel has a nice pool and garden, and it's entrance is also very good. Gives a relaxing feel, just like you want on a holiday
