This is certainly not the best resort in Pattaya. It is actually on Jomtien , and not accessible to Pattaya without a drive. Which we knew, and liked. It is a nice, clean, small resort. The rooms are simple, very simple, just a bed or 2 with no other furnishings. If you want to sit, you had to sit on the bed, or outside. We found ourselves with the blinds closed the entire visit, since we had a ground floor unit. There is zero view from any of the units anyways. The room was pleasant enough, just not good enough to be rated #! in Pattaya. The pool was OK. it is under a lot of trees, so it is a little dirty. It was a bit small, but an adequate size. The were no umbrellas. so its great if you want to sit in the sun. The restaurant...... This was the biggest disappointment. Breakfast was well below par. Well below what I had hoped for. The food was always cold. The was very little variety. It was enough to fill up on, but nothing you would ever pay for. The biggest concern with the restaurant... The staff I witnessed in the washroom, did not wash their hands after they used it. I witnessed this 4 times in one day. Very troubling.... This is a nice little resort, it just lacks in modern facilities. The staff is nice and friendly. It is a decent place to stay, just not the best place.
Everything about the Rabbit Resort was wonderful. The staff is amazing and provide everything needed for a great stay. The Rabbit Resort deserves all the previous ratings because of not only the staff but also the beautiful property. Nestled away in a pocket of busy Pattaya, the Rabbit Resort feels like another world perfect for escape. I honestly laughed and was skeptical when I saw all the colorful butterflies flying around the treelined property. It was as if someone released them as soon as I stepped out of my room. I ultimately embraced it all and did not regret it. When the beach felt too crowded and busy, I escaped to the adult only pool surrounded by trees and I lay in silence. Perfect. Exactly what I needed to escape the noise of the city and my mind. The breakfast included with the stay was also phenomenal. I felt ok with paying a little bit more for dinner because it balanced out. No complaints here.
Beautiful room, amazing food, private beach, clean pool, close walk to gay area. Free breakfast buffet (yummy!!!). 1500 baht taxi from Thailand. Highly recommend for people to go visit, nice break from BKK.
we stayed from 26/01/17 till 02/02/17. Nothing was to much trouble for staff. Beautiful resort. it was nice we actually met the owners Mr&Mrs Rabbit. The food was great, the rooms were lovely. we will be going back soon. x
Went one evening for dinner at the restaurant, its called the chefs company. Excellent food, first class service. Lovely beach side setting. Very good menu SNF selection of drinks.staff very smart and attentive to the customer's
The Rabbit resort is under heavy vegetation kept well under control. The bungalows or rather small houses are very comfortable, very clean, isolated from the noise. Walking distance to the sea is not taking more than 5 minutes.... Two swimmig pools are available. Pattaya is Pattaya and does need a serious upgrade for family very good holidays. We had excellent buffet breakfasts and fair meals latter at a price...
Based on my stay, I don't think so. Perhaps my expectations were too high but I've stayed in better hotels in Pattaya. On the positive side, the staff were really friendly and provided speedy and efficient service. The grounds are maintained to perfection. The reasons why I don't think it's the number 1 resort in Pattaya: - Breakfast options were limited and the food was not hot - The family pool and adult pool are too close together (noisy) - Pools are relatively small - No umbrellas at the pools - Limited in room privacy on the ground floor unless curtains are closed. - Disruption in electricity and intermittent wifi service The above are mostly infrastructure other than the breakfast which can be fixed. I wanted to state my view as I feel that I was misled by the previous reviews. In no way am I saying that this is a bad place to stay. It caters to families and those that enjoy a 'village' type atmosphere. However, this is not the number 1 resort in my mind.
It's away from the Crowd ! The Rooms and Decor is Wonderful , you just don't feel like going out of the room . Staff is Excellent , Food is also Very Good . Swimming Pool , Garden , Overall Cleanliness and such things are maintained very well . Lovely Place to stay !
Peace, tranquility, beautiful trees and plants, birds and squirrels. I could have sat for hours totally absorbed in these wonderful surroundings. The adults only pool is pristine and we really appreciated the quiet. Our room was huge, beautiful and had everything we could need. The staff were fantastic, every one of them. We ate in the restaurant one night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. For breakfasts we chose cooked Thai dishes which were delicious. We are so happy that we listened to our friend's advice and didn't travel further from Bangkok as we only had two nights and we certainly got to maximize our downtime by coming here, with no compromises. Just can't wait to come back.
We love almost everything about this cozy place. We have enjoyed every single day of our stay there. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Everything is done to make you stay be pleasant, enjoyable, unforgettable. Beautiful, well-groomed, green area, relaxing atmosphere all-around.
