Excellent choice for tourist who want a private hotel. The service was quick and professional. The view is very nice. Swimming pool is in front of the beach, can walk to the beach. Thai food is very delicious. Seafood is fresh.
Was a last minute decision to book in at Pullman G Hotel. Made my booking on booking.com and sadly realised after I could have got it cheaper direct with accor on this occasion. I am a Accor Le Club Platinum Member and was suitably impressed with the recognition of this status with the service received. Tiffany at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and really made the stay. Upgraded room was provided on arrival with welcome fruits, gift and drink. Location was a little out of the way, but this was compensated for with the price.
Could not praise this hotel enough! The staff would always go above an beyond to help! Stunning pool area, great food! Very relaxing! The rooms were very large and comfortable. There was even a pillow menu!
The Pullman is located on its own semi-private beach . This is a big plus. Very warm welcome on arrival . The staff is attentive , friendly and well trained . The rooms have ressently been renovated and are up to international 4 star standard . The other advantage is that the hotel is far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet only a 10 or 15 minute drive from the centre. Good value , family beach resort . The only criticism is the restaurant . Poor presentation , not the best quality ingredients and variable service , it really needs to be looked at again . The breakfast offers a buffet , but it's more reminiscent of a works canteen than a luxury hotel .
Having been and stayed in the hotel which is very nice thought I'd return to visit their restaurant previously having had steak decided to have again faultless but very small steak my wife had salmon which was also very good I passed on dessert but wife had chocolate brownie more like cake you needed a knife to cut not good albeit enjoyed our mains only when I got home I remembered my steak should have been as menu said 8oz really Pullman even allowing for shrinkage steak was no more than 4oz not good enough expensive mistake
Just completed our fourth stay at the Pullman Pattaya G and as usual treated to a fantastic break. The staff are truely the reason we keep returning to this location in Thailand, there is always a smile and the service is faultless. As in all hotels there are issues that return guest notice and the first being the Executive Lounge hours have been reduced to a single hour 1730 to 1830 making what used to be a pleasurable experience now into rush hour in a busy cafe. The reduced club time mixed together with the crazy clientel makes the Executive Club experience a task not a pleasure. Although it was entertaining watching people gorge 90 minutes of food and alcohol into an hour. This is not to mention families trying to smuggle 4 screaming children into the over crowded lounge as well by passing children off to elderly relatives located in several seperate areas in the lounge. The second issue is one that really grinds my gears, the hotel exhibits a sign in four languages stating any items or towels left on sunbeds for more than 30 minutes will be removed and taken to lost property. Like most hotels this never happens and to make this time worse we witnessed a hotel staff member holding the best beach view seats in the resort for a elderly couple (good tippers) for the 6 days we swam at the pool. Not to mention countless other people holding multiple chairs as well. We all pay the same and should be treated equally.
Stayed here with our young family with 3 small kids for 8 nights. There are pros and cons. Pros - Our occasion was acknowledged - We got a beautiful anniversary welcome on arrival and cake to celebrate a birthday. the F&B manager Hok and his team are amazing - special mention to Hok, Fang, Ked and Bow. They took great care of us, especially one of our children is severely allergic to many foods. Sunset Lounge was a great base for us to ensure he could eat safely. Hok always made sure his team made something suitable for him. This ultimately made all the difference to our stay at Pullman G Pattaya. Housekeeping is great. Cons - we stayed in the family room, whilst this was sufficient for our family the rooms are dated, bathroom could do with an update. other than staff at Sunset lounge, service in other areas of the hotel, including front desk could be better. Pools around the hotel is very underwhelming. I never once saw the main pools get cleaned during my entire stay there, and the water felt slimy. They may get cleaned at night... but that would be hard to do in the dark. The grounds around the pool looked outdated and could really do with an overhaul to make it a real resort destination. We used the Lanai pools instead as I have seen these get cleaned, but even the pool here is dated, lots of mould and cracked tiles. If it wasn't for Sunset Lounge, Hok and his team, I would say our stay would not be so enjoyable.
