Only stay here if you want to ruin your holiday...they did not give me the room I ordered in agoda and when I questioned them the reception staff were so rude to me. The breakfast is a JOKE and my shower was leaking all over the floor. Trust me this is one the worst places in pattaya...do not stay
The location is great, you can walk to walking street in 5 min. Hotel has a great view, great staff and a good pool. What i don`t like about this hotel is that the rooms must be renovated, everything is old.
Hope I got the right place. I stayed at the LK Mansion across the road (See my report) and went here for breakfast each day price was very reasonable. Large choice of English and Asian dishes, Fresh fruit, breads, cereals etc. Also an omelette cooking counter fruit juice hot tea and coffee It was a help yourself eat as much as you like buffet think it was around £4.50 see my photos to get a better idea Large open side area with fans, think it could be fairly warm in the hotter times of the year
The hotel location is very good, good service, friendly staffs, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Wide choices for breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it’s opposite the beach The only downside is that there is currently a construction site next to the hotel and gets noisy in the morning
I’ve attempted over the past week to communicate with someone in authority who actually works at the LK Group of Hotels. After sending multiple e-mails requesting assistance, I’ve received NOT one reply.
Great location, clean hotel, great service and front desk staff. Restaurant was very good as well, nice clean big rooms with no guest fees 😎, right on beach road. Excellent, will stay here again. English tv stations, Italian and Thai menus at restaurant.
Hotel is nice, great price and worth the money. The breakfast is one of the best i have had in pattaya. Close to the beach and the Central Mall. Staff was friendly and its nice that they have a mini store near the lobby.
Stayed here 4 times before, and this time everything was perfect, fast check in and even little bit before 2 ocklock thats nice, had a front room agains the beach for 6 days and it was perfect, the breakfast was to good ,went up a lot of kilos i think hahaha wifi fast this time ,sadly that the pool dont have sun until 1:30 - 2 oclock and maybe the cleaner can have more attention to when guest put "make up room" some days i went out for 3-4 hours walking and shopping and the room was still not cleaned when i was back, but ok anyway ,will be bak next year again
The hotel looks beautiful and the reception and public areas are beautiful. The room on closer inspection is actually just cheaply made to look expensive and was littered with poor finishes and problems (cut always ceiling rails to accommodate a mirror in the bathroom Etc) The balcony has the air on unit taking up 1/3rd if the space so you have to sit in the blasting heat or turn it off. The bathroom looks great but the toilet flush is horrifically weak and it wouldn’t surprise me if it blocks regularly. The WiFi was non existent in the room - I could literally only watch 10 seconds of YouTube before it dropped - consistently.- in the end I gave up and used data- only my phone couldn’t pick any signal up unless I sat on the balcony! Oh! And The air conditioner was broken- points to LK they did send someone to fix it and he did- but it took about 2 hours. Do not stay here- go to a cheaper western influenced chain such as the travelodge which has consistent WiFi and is comfortable and modern. Alternatively go to the hard rock on a similar budget. The LK Empress is supposed to be the LK’s best hotel and from the reviews they just write thanks for the feedback without sorting out the problems - people have complained about the WiFi for months and it was still rubbish- the worst I’ve had in thailand. Oh and the lady’s complain- lots of loud noisy families from a certain country who clearly like the ‘gordy’ look from the hotel. Talking loudly for 20 minutes in the corridors at all times like its their room! - honestly- Avoid.- the only reason I stayed was because I paid and the guy fixed the air con in the end.
In all honesty, if not for the staff, this hotel has great potential, rooms are big, location is good, its a little bit tacky, its a 3 star hotel tryna be 5 star and they come short in doing so. My main issue however with my stay was the staff. The ladies at reception were unfriendly at check in. I had an issue with my room whereby I was not getting what I paid for, I went down to try sort it out and spoke to a horribly rude lady behind the desk by the name of Pui (or at least thats what she told me her name was) - I asked to move rooms, and told her the issue, she told me that she doesn't care and that I must go away and call agoda, I then called agoda who called her to try sort it out, and whilst agoda were trying to speak to this horrible person she mockingly held the phone on the other side of the desk far away from her and after 2 minuets of doing that put the phone back to her ear and just said "I cant hear you" after realizing I was dealing with the devil of all hotel staff I asked to speak to a manager, to which she told me that the manager was on vacation and wouldn't be back until after we checked out. I told her that that makes no sense cosnidering its peak season being the week after new years, she just very condesendingly kept repeating that the manager is on vaction. After I told her she was being aggressive and needs to lower her voice she started shouting at me. At this point I decided I had had enough and asked for the managers email, to which she told me to go ask reception. I went to reception and asked for the managers email and to my suprise was pointed in the direction of the manager who was no more than 5 meters away. I went to speak to the manager and told him of Pui's rudeness and the fact that she blatantly lied to my face, he apologized but no action was taken. The manager was friendly however I was too tiered from travelling to get into a war with him about my room and since I was only there 3 nights just told him that if he can move me to a different room i'd appreciate it. And nothing came from that. The whole treatment just left a very bad taste in my mouth and I landed up packing my bags and leaving a day early to bangkok. I would not reccomend this hotel until they train their staff or hire staff who are by all means exactly what Pui is not.
