Firstly, I will start by saying that I was going to write a fairly positive review about this hotel but a incident with staff members has changed that . Obviously others may have better experiences so good luck to you, I was staying for night Room no 706 , the room has excellent views . the usp of this property is huge spacious rooms . the higher floor are better . The room bathroom was a big disappointment, shower didn't have running hot water . the taps were old and this property needs to uplift the bathroom and toilet fittings . In The night i used my safe to remove some cash & when i went to keep the balance and my original passport the safe wouldn't shut . i was like no option , i had to carry my cash around . i made a complaint to the reception , she was like nothing can be done now only in the morning this can be sorted . lucky for me it was not the other way around . otherwise my night would be ruined . I had done some shopping for my family where in i had purchased some sling bags and ladies footwear . i had kept in on the rack above the safe , while checking out the next day i forgot my parcel . i reached home and realized my mistake . i made a call to them at the reception at first they said nothing found , later on asked me to call again but same reply . I am 100 % sure i had left in there . i know it's my MISTAKE . I WOULD ADVISE please don't leave any valuables unattended , they were all branded goods . this is just to inform you guys reading this to be careful
We had the great fortune to stop for lunch at this hotel. We had the fish running in the garden, roughly translated- deep fried fish with thai salad. We travel globally and use reztaurants on a regular basis.....This is probably the best meal we have ever head, simply outstanding. Reasonable priced too in a lovely setting. If you are in Pattaya and enjoy Thai seafood, make the effort and visit this restaurant. It is on soi 2
The definite upsides to this place are its location and room size. But there are plenty of downsides from my perspective. 1) I requested for 2 beds and got 1 large bed instead; 2) the towels definitely need replacement already - off white already in color and no fluff; 3) request for an extra towel entails an extra 100 baht charge; the bathroom needs better cleaning; 4) no hot water in the sink, hot water is only in the shower; 5) reception is not always manned so there will be times that you call the front desk without any answer. It doesn't deserve its namesake.
great hotel for the money I paid, stayed for 4nights with my thai girlfriend, 1st impressions are that it looks a bit dated, old style thai hotel.check in really quick and love the frogs at the reception, room clean and practical, cleaned and replenished every day, the bed I have to say gave me the BEST ever sleep I had in Thailand, never had the breakfast due to the bed lol, staff all friendly , 100 yards from beach rd so you get anywhere you want in the resort, all in all a great wee place to stay. wi fi never failed once, always reliable.
it wants my choice . fortunately the tour changed my hotel. i stayed here 3 night . everything was good . very close to walking street .east o walk to main road .2 swimming pool very clean and quiet . breakfast was satisfied . and the room was perfect for solo traveler . lcd with clean bed and 4 beds and noodle .!
I arrived in Pattaya 4 days ago - 11 March 2017. It took 2 hours to finally get to the hotel from Pattaya airport by minibus @ 250 baht. The hotel, Baan Khun Nine, is located in the upmarket area of Pattaya beach, within 200 metres of the Holiday Inn, Mecure, Amari and Dusit Thani hotels and only 100 metres from the beach. The beach looks disgusting with litter everywhere (much worst than Patong) and while I love swimming in the sea, I couldn't swim here. There are many sharp stones on the waters edge and if you got a cut on your foot I'm sure infection would follow. Pattaya in general is much bigger than I expected and around 20% cheaper than Phuket for food, beer and massages. The Thai people here do not look happy. Where most in Phuket wore smiles nearly all the time, the Pattaya Thais seem sad and unsatisfied with life. I'm feeling a bit depressed myself here, but is that because I have been away from home too long? I don't know for sure but I wish I was back in Phuket. The hotel where I'm staying, Baan Khun Nine, is well located. The Big C (major supermarket) is about 300 metres up the street. There are plenty of cheap restaurants and plenty of nice restaurants nearby to. The hotel is in a side street and so nice and quiet. It is very clean and comfortable too. The price is about half of the better hotels nearby making it very attractive. The pool is small but deep and therefore nice and cool. Breakfast is included in the tariff and whilst not fantastic it is quite ok. If you must visit Pattaya, this hotel is recommended.
Well sized rooms, great view specially from 4th floor upwards, clean & well maintained. It is walking distance from many hot spots of Pattaya, and the beach road is just 100 yards away. Staff was very courteous and no hassles whatssoever!!
Great location, good clean and big rooms , friendly staff - all good except that Wi-fi is really slow ! It was literally non existent . On the whole very good value for money . Would surely recommend it to my friends and family .
Nice boutique hotel. Value for money and room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is good and wifi is good too. Very convenient location and walking distance to the beach and to shopping area. Definitely will come back to stay again.
