Stayed the night after a long days shopping at Citie Europe. Hotel easy to find using Google Maps. Parking on site and we were lucky enough to have use of one of their garages, so secure overnight parking. Twin double room, with a great view over the harbour. Kids under 13 ate for free with a paying adult, this was for all meals. Food was nice. Hotel not far at all from the ferry terminal. Excellent location. Will stay again.

Just what we needed,we had time to kill before meeting our Daughter. So time at the bar and then a lovely two course meal and drinks for under €45. We often pop into the Holiday Inn for a coffee so it was a pleasant surprise to have such a good meal and fine serves.

A very comfortable hotel where I have stopped often for one night. However, was a bit disappointed on a longer stay. The Air conditioning had been turned off and the room was extremely hot. Was unable to open window due to outside noise. If you advertise Air-conditioning, you should have it. Also, bar service was close to unavailable. Staff went missing for long periods often having to wait 10 minutes for somebody to appear. Whilst the breakfast was good a slightly better-quality bacon would have been appreciated (you had to carefully cut out bones). Very handy for central Calais and a variety of restaurants.

We have stayed here a few times now and it was great as always. The staff are really helpful and nice, and it always feels like coming home not to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect.

We visited as a one night stop after coming through the tunnel from U.K. Although we arrived late at night , we had a warm welcome from the English speaking receptionist at check in. The room was comfortable and larger than expected with a separate room attached as a sitting area and a second shower room . There was plenty of choice on the breakfast buffet which included a few hot items . Good for us was that our well behaved dog was allowed in the restaurant , making having breakfast easy . The dog was charged at €10 per night , which I thought was very reasonable . The only down side as far as the dog was concerned was there wasn't an area to take the dog out , other than on the quayside. The hotel is in a great location for walking out to local restaurants and bars , and there is free parking right outside the hotel on the road

I've reviewed this Holiday Inn before and nothing has changed. It is still a great place to stay and all the staff I came into contact were really friendly and professional. It was nice to sit in the bar and have a drink, looking out at the port, before venturing out for a meal in the evening. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Will I stay here again? YES

This Holiday Inn is clearly in need of a bit of an update but if, like us, you are staying for a single night as a stopover before continuing your journey the next morning it will do the job. We arrived at about 10pm on a Friday night having planned to continue our journey further towards Amsterdam but decided to call it a night and stay in Calais. We booked this hotel last minute, just before boarding the train in Folkestone - according to the internet there was limited remaining availability but we had no issue booking 2 rooms. The room was comfortable but hot - the air con didn't have much of an effect so we had to open the windows but unfortunately they didn't open very far. Plenty of space but some interesting modifications in the bathroom such as a toilet seat on tall legs, presumably as an aid for disabled guests. We didn't stay for breakfast (€15 per person) and instead stopped off later in our journey having set off early in the morning but at the quoted price I suspect you'll find a lot better elsewhere. Location is great if you want a few beers - there are a few bars just around the corner. Overall, I'd stay here again if I was driving across late and wanted to break up the journey but if it was for more than one night I'd probably look for something a bit nicer.

Just don't bother! Food and staff awful!! Really just don't bother, do you self a favour!!! Service appalling, staff even worse, and sorry to say the food is even worse! Our food was served totally cold! Need any more!

Always prefer holiday inn chain but not this one. This one has old rooms and not comparable to the price. Don't know why this hotel has many reviews despite good hotels below 100 euros in Calais. In fact the other Holiday Inn calais is much beautiful and modern compared to this one.

My wife and I stayed here for one night after arriving on the Eurotunnel. Initially we had thought we had booked our usual Holiday Inn in Cocquelles, but sadly not. The hotel is ideal for those using the ferry port, you can see the port from the hotel windows. The hotel offers secure parking, but ample non secure parking is available opposite the hotel. Check in was easy and the gentleman on reception was super pleasant, as were all the staff we encountered. The guest lift was out of service on our arrival so we were directed to the staff service lift. This was very small and with three people the over-weight limit prevented it from operating. Our room was cosy and quiet, with a view to the small harbour and the bigger ferry port. The room could be cooled easily too. The bathroom was fine for a one night stay, although for longer it would have been a squeeze. The breakfast in the morning was fine. Some hot food offerings of an "English breakfast" style and the usual cereal, croissants etc. So something for all tastes. Once again the staff encountered in the morning were really professional and caring. In summary the hotel is a suitable establishment for a one night stay and ideal for the ferry terminal. The staff were really good The hotel itself is in need of some TLC and would not normally be one that I would expect to have the Holiday Inn branding associated with We did not take evening meal in the hotel as a short walk away is an array of local restaurants in a large square.
