Tucked away in a relatively quiet side street, reception is always staffed. Lucky I had checked Google maps beforehand so knew what to look out for. About 15 min walk from Gare du Nord. Our premium room was a good size (for Paris), excellent wifi signal. Breakfast was outstanding, individual serving of boiled egg, fruit salad, ham and cheese, crepe, yogurt with coulis, bread, jams and spreads, croissants, pain au choc, fresh orange juice and coffee. Location is just below Montmartre hill, about 5 mins walk from several metro stations. You can see the Sacre Coeur from about 100m away from the hotel. Area is hilly, but nothing too extreme. Good value restaurants around, if you like to explore.

Very nice but at a price

The hotel is a lovely, boutique hotel with super friendly staff. It is located in a quiet street that is close to Cadet metro and all the amenities you need to hand. It is also within 15 mins walk of Gare du Nord. The room I had was comfortable and clean. The facilities are starting to show their use, but that is a quibble. I do think they could provide more than just a couple of bottles of water given the price of the room. You can also hear people passing your room very clearly. The prices of Paris hotels are steep, but I would say that I was charged an excessive amount, but apparently it was Paris Fashion Week? An opportunity to inflate prices? The receptionist, a young woman from Albania, was a delightful person, very friendly and positive.

Great Parisian Stay

Just to flag to families that Expedia sold us a booking as 2 adjoining rooms, one double and two singles, but unfortunately this is not something the hotel actually has. Therefore we were given one nice sized room with a big bed and one small room with a very small double bed - both on the same floor but not even adjacent let alone connecting. Travelling with 2 kids meant this wasn't ideal. Apart from that hiccup, everything in the hotel is lovely. It's on a quiet street, the decor is fun and quirky, the location is fabulous with Sacre Couer a 15 minute walk away, and Gare du Nord 10 minutes walk away. The staff were all really friendly. The breakfasts were beautifully presented.

Quirky little property however the rooms are were obviously designed by a wanna be hipster architect that has never stayed in a functional hotel room in their life. 100% for quirkiness. 0% for functionality They took a $350 pre auth on the card even when we had paid the entire bill and are still holding it a day after leaving we don’t know why? The 15 euro brekky is a bit of a rip off but there are plenty of bakeries and good outlets around.
