From the moment we arrived the whole team at the hotel made us feel welcome, they were extremely professional and friendly. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and the location was great: really close to the metro, lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. A great base for exploring Paris.

I thought the room was a good size but a bit basic. Breakfast fruits were not fresh ..but the rest was fine. Great service and superb front desk support. Place voltaire is very good for local cafés and restaurants. Nr Bastille

Excellent hotel at reasonable rates. Rooms very compacted but had all the facilities you would want, clean room, shower and comfortable bed. No tea/coffee in room which would have been nice, but the ubiquitous McDonalds on the corner of the street. Tried breakfast once over our three day stay not good value so went across the road to local café. Great location with metro on the door step of hotel to allow you to explore Paris

Having just one staff member to manage the breakfast room and room service is insufficient. Every table was occupied or covered with dirty dishes. No more cups, no more water in the coffee machine, no more jam, no more baguettes, no more eggs, no more ketchup. The poor woman was left dashing desperately back and forth, putting out fires. She was clearly poorly trained - "Never waste a journey: Every time you go into the kitchen, take something with you (like dirty plates) and bring something back (like fresh bread)" - is the first lesson any wait staff should be taught. You charge too much money for offering such a poor service. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and perfectly acceptable, however.

I was afraid of the size of the room being too small but it was descent for a Capital. Team service was kind. Breakfast was good. I recommend this hotel. Being close to Bastille there are numerous restaurants to please your taste. also PARKING around the area was fairly easy compare to other districts of Paris.

This is an excellent hotel - well run and attentive staff. It is also well placed to go almost anywhere and explore local restaurants if one arrives late at the weekend! . It is comfortable and welcoming especially since our two daughters arrived (from London) quite late.

Well, We've come as a couple for 4 nights in Paris and we made a pretty good choice. Staff is very lovely and willing to help, rooms are clean and sufficiently large (for Paris). You get some Tea and Coffee in the room, slippers and robes and the rest of a regular 4-Star hotel. Breakfest was VERY expensive (20euro pp??) so we skipped and grabbed food outside. The only thing which was unbearable was the WIFI, or should I say, the lack of it. There is no internet at this hotel, at all. They said they had temporary issues, but 4 days...? comeon. In any case, it was so horrible that even the PC they provided in the lounge was unbearbilty slow to surf. So to cut it short, nice hotel, but if you need WIFI (we did) this is NOT a hotel for you.

The hotel is in a good location and was very clean too but the staff was so so rude. They did not have any manners to speak to their customers. The receptionist was jumping down my throat when I couldn't understand her. The other receptionist kept calling us and was speaking in a boisterous harsh tone to tell that people are complaining of the noise from our room whereas we were just talking. It's not our fault if your walls are thin. We were on holiday, can't just quietly sit there. Places are made from people and if people have this sort of altitude then tourists wouldn't care if you have Eiffel Tower or Disneyland.

I was initially given a room on the 1st floor, right next to the lift, which would be noisy,so I went to request a better room and was given one on the 2nd floor away from the lift. So although the room didn't have much of a view, it was really quiet at night. It was small but did not feel cramped, and I really liked the plush pink and grey/ silver colour scheme.Excellent shower, bathroom looked recently refurbished. However, the loo roll was somewhat awkwardly positioned, (digging into my arm!) Only wall-mounted shower gel. Really comfortable bed, and adequate provision for simple herbal tea or instant coffee.I didn't opt for the breakfast, which was 17 euros. The best thing about staying here was that not only is it moments away from the entrance to Voltaire metro, it is also pretty easily walkable to Place de la Republique, the Marais ,Place Bastille (via Rue de Roquette, which contains a number of good breakfast options such as Cafe des Anges and La Fee Vert), and a little further on to the Ile St Louis and the Seine, if you like a walk. It's in a busy , working neighbourhood with boulangeries and supermarkets, so feels like "real" Paris, while being easily accessible to all touristy areas. The staff were unfailingly helpful, and the whole place felt clean and safe. Would stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It is situated near Metro station Voltaire (footstep away), connecting you everywhere throughout the city. The neighbourhood is rather calm but you’re a few blocks away of “Place de la Bastille” where you’ll find lot’s of possibilities for evening activity. We had a spacious room on the top floor (paid a little extra), with a comfortable queen size bed. A little balcony (accessible) with a nice view over the neighbourhood. Room was equipped with a nespresso machine offering me every day 3 delicious coffee moments. Very clean well maintained bathroom with shower, toilet , and a spacious sink with hairdryer. Staff is very kind, and every time of the day someone was available at the front desk to help you. Breakfast offers both savory and sweet food. Cheese, ham, eggs, bacon, sausages , jam, bread , viennoiserie , coffee , thee , juices , fruit , …. Everything you need to boost your energy before discovering this beautiful town. For a couple of years I’m quite a fan of the Accor concept. They offer a broad range of hotels with each individual concept offering correct value for money. Staying at this hotel was again a confirmation of my positive Accor opinion. Thank you for the service during our stay.
