Room was well equipped and a reasonable size except it was long and narrow making it difficult for a generously proportioned male to move around the bed. The shower was modern and well equipped, with plenty of water pressure. The room was quiet with the windows closed, but some traffic noise when open. The room got very warm and the air conditioning did not appear to work, so the nights were a little stuffy. Breakfast was very nice, good coffee and a good selection of cheese and meats with boiled eggs also available. The hotel is conveniently located and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
The rooms are extremely small. Not much space to walk. Although the hotel is situated at a nice place but not worth staying for a family. Moreover breakfast serving is limited. We stayed there for three days and ate the same things for breakfast.Honestly I would not recommend this hotel.
My family and I stayed for 3 nights in July 2017, we found the hotel to be very clean with good sized rooms and facilities. The breakfast is typically continental with plenty to go around and very tasty. The staff are amazing, we speak very little French but didn't have to worry as all members of staff speak English very well and nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed are stay and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a pleasant one.
This hotel was near to railway and metro station. Location was good and breakfast was good. Cleanses was also good . Staff was helpful and provided required information. Triple room was only one so please check before doing check in time.
I arrived after a long day and the receptionists was snappy I guess he had a long day too. I explained I had made the booking online he cut me short saying he can't see the booking so just move back and wait until I call you. So I dutifully went and sat around the corner a few minutes later he called checked me in, small lift max two people, my room was second floor facing the street I walked in and I was in love for the price it was just clean and lovely the bathroom was sparkling, I noticed one of the bathroom walls was dirty when I went into shower but it wasn't gross dirty.Bed was super comfortable and theeee most amazing shower I wanted to live in there ☺️... I checked out in the morning lovely man at reception and went on with my weekend
Just returned from a 2 night stay at the hotel. The rooms are compact but have everything you need including a fridge. It was great to have a bathroom that has windows and natural light. So many hotels have bathrooms in the middle of the building so this was a nice change. The shower was lovely and powerful with plenty of room. This weekend has been very hot in Paris, but we were lovely and cool with the air conditioning that was so quiet we sleep all night with it on full. I must admit the stairs were slightly worrying to climb so we used the left. However I do think it was the smallest lift I've ever been in! Breatfask was great and there was a decent range of things to eat. I would definitely stay at the hotel again, should we return to Paris.
We had a lovely 5-night stay at the Hotel Trianon and I would definitely suggest it to someone else. The hotel is located close to Gare de Lyon and Nation, which means you can have access to different metro lines. You can easily find supermarket, cafes and brasseries close by. The stuff is very polite. Room service and fresh towels everyday. The room is rather small, but cozy, the bathroom is even smaller though, could have used a bit more space. But it's very clean, so we were ok with that! Comfortable bed. We didn't have breakfast, would rather walk around and have breakfast outside while enjoying sunny mornings.
This is a hotel the best aspect of which is its location. Located on the Avenue Diderot, it provides accessibility to various parts of the City. The busy Gare de Lyon metro as well as inter-city station is just a brisk walk away. If you have luggage on wheels, you can still manage without a cab to the station. This Hotel is ideal if you use it only for the bed and breakfast. But let me warn you, do not be put off by the walk down the stairs to the basement for breakfast. It is buch better than it seems. The Boisson chaude in particular and the coffe will never disappoint you. The only thing negative about the place that its 30 rooms are packed economically and if you are given to claustrophobia, it may put you off at first. But believe me, it is not that bad.
The rooms are small, but not uncomfortably so. And certainly not smaller than I'd expect given how little I was paying for a hotel in Paris. Rooms are all clean and modern and ours had a nice, long balcony it opened on to. Friendly staff and only a 5 minute walk to Gare de Lyons. Would stay again.
We had booked Trianon la Gare for two seperate overnight stays on our way to and from Milan by TGV train. On arrival for our first stop over we were informed that there was a problem with our allocated room and arrangements had been made for us to stay at a sister hotel. We had selected Trianon la Gare because of its close proximity to Gare de Lyon station and the fact that we were catching a train at 6.30 the following morning. The sister hotel was a taxi ride away (which the hotel did pay for) too far for us to walk to the station. This meant a further taxi ride to Gare de Lyon the follwing morning and a much earlier start for us. After some discussion the receptionist at Trianon la Gare reluctantly agreed to reimburse us the return taxi fare for the following day. We did finally get to stay at Trianon la Gare on our return stop over. We were also allocated Room 51 next to the lift. A decent sized room large comfortable bed, small balcony and French windows,Compact bathroom with excellent shower, however no toiletries were provided. Very disappointed with our experience as the hotel is in a very convenient location if your are travelling on from Gare de Lyon.
