Excellent location right next to the station, but no noise! The reception staff were friendly and helped us get into our room early. The room was compact but very well laid out so there was plenty of storage space for our four bags, and enough privacy between the bedroom, sofa bed and bathroom. The kitchenette was thoughtfully equipped and there is a small supermarket a few minutes walk away. It's easy to get to Disney from here, just one train stop.
We stayed in the Residhome Val d'Europe over the Easter weekend. On arrival the lovely lady on reception was so pleasant she give us details of Easter activities for children and give our 5 year old granddaughter some crayons & paper to enter a Easter competition which she went on to win a fantastic Disney prize which she was thrilled with. Our room had a double bed in a separate bedroom and a double & single sofa bed in the main living room, we had two TVs & a kitchen area. The room was very clean, modern and spacious enough for all 5 of us, we loved the fact we had 2 showers in the bathroom and a separate toilet it made it much easier for us all to get ready. We even had a dishwasher. The double bed in the separate bedroom was very comfortable and the room was very quiet we heard no noise at all. We didn't eat at the hotel but did enjoy a drink in the bar which was nice and reasonably priced. We used the train to get to Disneyland which was very close to the hotel and quick, easy and cheap to do. Our little Granddaughter took part in a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday and was so excited and thrilled with all the lovely chocolate eggs she collected. The hotel arranged us a taxi back to the airport on our last day which arrived promptly and was reasonably priced for 5 of us. We ate out at a fantastic Italian restaurant Di Roma near to the hotel one evening after a long day sightseeing in Paris and would recommend this to anybody the service , food and wine was excellent. We also bought some lovely ham & cheese baguettes from the shop on the train station one day and these were really lovely. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Disneyland Paris and would definitely stay here again. All the staff are super friendly and care about their guests we all thought it was fantastic and didn't want to leave. Thank you for making our trip extra special.
We stayed there during the May Bank Holiday to visit Disneyland Paris with the Family. The location is perfect, very close by train to this attraction and the station is just around the corner. The hotel is nice and staff are friendly. It is an appartohotel, so rooms include also a separate dining area with an additional sofa bed and a small kitchen with fridge. The hotel has a secured car park. It is also walking distance from several good restaurants and a big shopping centre. It is a very good alternative location to the Disneyland Paris hotels and restaurants at a fraction of their prices. Highly recommended for families.
Really happy with our 5 night stay here and would recommend to any family wanting a reasonably priced base for both Disneyland and the centre of Paris. The apartment has all the essentials and is decorated nicely and to a high specification. We are a family of 5: there is a king size bed for parents, plus a single sofa bed and a spacious double sofa bed which can easily fit 2 children in the sitting room. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. There are plenty of parking spaces underground for €5 per night. It was at most a 5 minute drive to the Indigo car park at Disney Village (right next to the park entrance; approx €20 per day depending on how long you park for). Only downside was that the bar really doesn't provide much in the way of food (but they say it is "bar snack" only so they aren't implying you should eat your evening meal there). We arrived late on the first night so did our best to order food from the bar but really there are lots of preferable eating options in the Val d'Europe plaza which is under 5 mins walk from the apartment. Residhome Val d'Europe is 2 mins walk from the train station for Paris and is on the No.2 red line which took us right to the centre (Nation/Chatelet Les Halles metro). Journey time to centre of Paris was about 25-30 minutes. We bought quite expensive "Paris Visite" tickets which allowed train travel anywhere in Zones 1-5. Tickets for 2 days of travel for 2 adults and 2 children cost €115 (under 4s are free). Only issue we had was that the ticket machines didn't accept our credit or debit cards so we had to get cash out to buy the tickets! All in all, a really successful happy family holiday.
We are a family of 5 (3 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child). This hotel had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Its in an ideal location for everything. 5 mins to a large mall ( with Primark, zara, MK & lots of designer shops), large supermarket and the train station. Reception were polite and all spoke English clearly even allowing us to check in 4hrs early due to an early flight. We managed to visit Disneyland, Eiffel tower, Arc de triomph and a bit of shopping all in 4nights. Trains are really easy to get everywhere, 1 stop to Disney and 2trains to eiffel tower. Considering France is so expensive the cost of train fares are cheap ( €1.95each to Disney, €56 return for 5 to Eiffel tower). Rooms in hotel were clean (cleaners came daily), comfortable & modern. I wouldn't hesitate to staying in this hotel again. Only negative were prices and taxis (€100 from airport).
We stayed here to have a short stay as the train is right outside we were able to go where ever we wanted including Disney and Paris. Very convenient as even the local town is a good place to shop and eat in
We stayed as a couple in February...... It is really easy to travel here from Charles de Gaulle airport, and only took just under an hour. We visited primarily for visiting DisneyLand, and for this the location really is excellent. The local train "tube" station is literally 100 metres away, and then it's one stop to the parks - it literally takes 5 minutes and then you're there! Now the hotel..... We didn't expect luxury, but it was really dated and in need of updating - the air conditioning/heating only seemed to have two settings.... Boiling hot, or freezing cold. The heated towel rail in the bathroom didn't work, and the laminate flooring was badly damaged and cracked and worn. Don't get me wrong - it was clean, but just needed updating. The hotel is really close to the mall, and we enjoyed vising a clue of times for a mooch, and twice for a meal..... It made a nice change from Park food! The staff on the reception weren't hugely welcoming or helpful - I earwigged on another customer wanting some bowls for the room as they were missing from the kitchenette, as he wanted to eat cereal in the morning, and the receptionist treated him like he was asking for the moon - she suggested he used a plate instead! I would visit the hotel again, simply due to the location and price being excellent, and to be honest we hardly spent any time in the hotel at all so it didn't really matter that it was a bit worn and manky.
We booked a prestige suite for 4 people (supposed to sleep 6) , layout was two bedrooms, bathroom, en suite shower room, lounge area, kitchen area. The general condition was tired, It was very cold, there was no way of adjusting the room stat, it was locked at 20c, the windows were damaged which caused big draughts enough to video tissues flapping in the wind, the bedrooms are very small, you have to move sideways to get around the beds, bedroom 2 has the en suite which is just a cupboard with a shower cubicle in it, no basin or wc, there is no room to store a suitcase in this room or a wardrobe to hang clothes. There is only one toilet in the entire suite, so getting ready could be tricky, especially for 6 people. The furniture is damaged, wood flooring scratched and marked, the curtains were hanging off the rail, the privacy net curtains were velcrod on and also hanging off, the TVs and pictures were all crooked, the communal hallways smelled of smoke and very dark, the lift was annoying, every time you used it you had to input a unique code, no matter what floor you choose it took you to the reception floor, There is a kettle to make tea/coffee, but in the kitchen area but there is no plug socket so it has to be put on the floor to use, the tea and coffee is not replenished during the stay . We have stayed all around the around the world in hotels of different classes but we do not feel this hotel is a 4 star establishment, we would rate this as a low grade 3 star in terms of quality, we would not stay here again.
Friendly Staff, Secure & Clean - Nice bar area, we arrived late and barman ordered us some pizza to the room! Plenty of space in studio apartments and they have a big balcony. 1 minute walk to train station (direct train to Paris 40 mins - direct train to Disney 5 mins) Shopping Centre about 10 minute walk with designer outlet. Would return here again.
We had a very spacious room, we were five but still ample space for everyone. Bathroom very comfortable and very clean. Extremely satisfied with surroundings and service. Even the area that this unit is situated is near to all amenities. Staff very helpful.
