Terrible hotel, our booking got messed up, we was promised half price for our rooms, staff lied, the rooms smell, no air conditioning, tiny bathrooms, do I really need to continue. Everything about the place is BAD!!
The Hotel was comfortable, clean, the staff were very helpful , breakfast continential plenty off would not hesitate to re book. tea & coffee making facilities in the room would have improved our stay
visited here for a big birthday for 4 days . it is so central to all local attractions you can not miss anything. the hotel is modern but basic as well. the room is adequate and has fresh linen, fresh towels every day and lots of shampoo etc.It is so central that it does have traffic outside in the early morning but after a day or so you dont ear it and to be honest so much to see you would be up early. The breakfast is a variety and plenty to get you going for the day. the only 2 minus would be no tea in the room and if you were to eat too many cakes from the beautiful french pastry shop it would be a tight squeese in the bathroom.overall a very central location and value for money for what you get
Well if all you are looking for is a bed and a shower, fine. Notice I did not say bath. The second room I was in was clean...not to be mean but the first room I was in was not clean. I realize it's an old building but come on people. And we are in france. Seriously? Not one picture on the wall? 1970's decor orange drapes. I asked for a wake-up call the day I was leaving. That was a mistake. They forgot me til my driver showed up and called me. I hadn't even gotten out of bed yet! This set off a while long chain of events leading to a horrible day of travel. I give two stars because the breakfast gas delicious, the location was good. Right on the metro. There was a different desk clerk every day. Most were very nice and helpful except one. Horrible. I had my phone out at the front desk one morning and I guess the camera went off. She accused me of being some sort of spy because I guess the flash went off and took a picture of her. She was also the one that was there in my last day ,responsible for my wakeup cll. She basically said it was my own fault and not hers. She didn't even apologize. Two stars. No frills. Pretty clean. Just don't stay in the first floor.
When we booked we requested for a garden view room on a higher floor. My wife and I arrived at 1:30pm but were told that we cannot check in until 2pm. When we booked online, it said that checkin time was 1pm? We went for lunch and when we came back, we were given a room on the 2nd floor facing the street. The guy at the front desk did not seem friendly. Note that the room is very small and old. There is hardly any room to move around. The bathroom was also small. On the 2nd night, the heater in our room broke down. We went to the front desk 3 times to ask them about it. Finally, the lady brought a portable heater(?) to us. However, it did not seem to blow warm air. Breakfast was okay. The staff at breakfast were nice. When I called to ask how to get from the airport to the hotel, they said to take the Roissy bus. When we arrived at the hotel, however, there was an ad for airport shuttle for 18 euros. Why did they not tell us? Would not stay here again.
the sheets were clean but the hotel is so old with chocolate brown carpet that looks dirty - the curtains were filthy and hanging off the rail. the hot water was good and got fresh towels daily. but the staff were VERY UNHELPFUL anything you asked them they did not know, could / would not do, jut shrugged. as a traveler in Paris it would have been nice for the staff to be of some little assistance. One example --- before arriving I sent an email and asked for advice how best to get to the hotel from Orly airport. I was told to take a bus to Champs Elysees and then the metro. it was a hassle struggling with luguage on the metro. Upon srrival I noted there is an advert ON THE FRONT DESK for airport transfers for 18 euro !!! why did they not tell me this???
The place is very good for the price; a very good location, close the metro and easy access to the bus stations. The breakfast is nice, the rooms are clean but the rooms are unimaginably small. overall nice place to stay.
If you want to stay in verry short distance to every nice city sights of Paris-this is the right place! Check on the map and you will understand! And just in 20 meters there is a metro station. If you have not to much claims, this is your hotel! It's small, but very clean and with very friendly staff! I recommend it to you! We were there for 4 nights and definitely will be back!
Good breakfast and superb location close to metro . Liege Meteo station 50 meters away. Six stops from Alma station ( Eiffel towwr) and seven stops from Arc de Troimpf. Really.Small room but comfortable bed.
New hotel is perfectly situated for a bisit to the top sites in Paris ans is 50m from the Liege metro station. The hotel offers a good free wifi and a solid continental breakfast. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The room itself is very basic and functional. Only 1 plug point, no air conditioning and miniscule space for luggage but the bed was very comfortable and clean. Coming from South Africa it does not rate the 3 stars it iis guven and reminds me more of a Formula 1 .Even then I would stay here again during winter if it was only 1 or 2 nights. For Paris this hotel is well priced for its location
