Stayed here on our last night of our euro trip. Stayed in a triple room and i enjoyed it. Two Thumbs up to the big bathtub. The room was clean and amenities also great. The location is great since it is near to gare de nord and gare de lest. There are also fast food nearby and grocery so no need to worry. All in all i enjoyed my stay. 😀
The hotel was spotless and the room cleaned each day. Management were helpful and very accommodating. The hotel itself is so close to the gard du nord train station so access to other areas of Paris is easy. Superb value for money and we would stay again.
Conveniently located (5 min walk) to Gare du Nord and Gare du l'est for easy train and metro access. Clean rooms, boutique hotel. Desk staff nice and help for answering questions. Did not utilize the breakfast. So very close to great restaurants, cafes within 5 minutes walking for breakfast lunch or dinner. Will stay here again. 20 min or less via metro to the tourist hotspots on the River Seine
Booked the hotel for a 2 night stay before returning to the uk on the orient express. Whilst on the eurostar across to france we were informed that the orient express and eurostar would not be running when we were due home due to strike action. We managed to get off the train in the uk and contacted the hotel to either reschedule or cancel to be told categorically that we could not do this. As the orient express trip was a special trip for our 10th anniversary, losing this money was a big blow. Belmond who run the orient express have been brilliant and we are due back in september but will not be booking with this hotel.
Well equipped. Great location. friendly and polite staff. Great Wi-Fi. Quiet. Comfortable.Clean. Near train-station, metro and bus. Near to market, restaurant and pabs. I recommend it everybody who are looking a good stay in Paris for good price. Stay again.
Perfect location, straight off the eurostar, 5 minute walk. Not central to all tourist locations, but can easily walk to the urve. Good full day. Lot of walking. However train station and open top buses available near by. Hotel room was a good size, great big bed very comfy after long days out. Bathroom ample clean.Decor and room very clean, safe in the room. Only comments was limited amount of tea and coffee supplied with only 2 small milks supplied. Lastly sound in the room was fine but if the toileet door was open you can here neighbours in their bathroom. Overall very good trip, freindly staff.
A lovely, quirky hotel that has a unique feel to it. Staff were friendly, our room was a good size and the bathroom surprisingly modern (with a fantastic shower!). This isn't in the trendiest area of Paris (think Kings Cross area of London with a local mini Turkey feel) but is within short walking distance of metros and train stations (5 mins max to either Gard du Nord or Gard d l'Est). It is 30 minutes walk to Opera station, similar to Moulin Rouge /Montemartre area and Sacre Coeur. Breakfast is typical of many continental hotels - self service, croissants, fruit juice and coffee and, as with many Parisian places, they pack you in tight; however, the baguettes are delightful, and, if you're a but Paddington Bear like myself, you'll enjoy it with the marmalade :) The hotel has a lift / elevator (no shyness here as it is petite), and our room had a Nespresso machine (although no pods, so bring your own - retail style) and a kettle with teabags. Water from taps perfectly safe and rather refreshing. Bed comfortable and towels etc changed everyday (towels a little on the small size but perfectly acceptable). You have to leave your room card with reception, but don't worry - it is manned 24 hours a day and we had no problem asking for it on our many long days out. Overall, a great find - clean, friendly, intimate and good value for money hotel for the rating. Thank you.
Not a great experience like other hotels in Paris. Customer services bad, Had to deposit extra 70 Euros as security deposit even though the payment was paid in advance via paypal and no email or text was received about additional security payment. Room was spacious but as it was on top floor it looked like the room under the stairs. Heating was working properly but had to ask for blanket as no blankets are provided initially and it did took some time to get at desired temperature . Couldn't talk to the manager at all and he wasnt available in the morning and no calls were made to make him aware. And finally when complained that i am not happy with the services the response was " so what can i do " .
Hotel is beside 2 main train stations so very handy to get around paris once u master the train stations. The hotel itself is on a street that doesnt look too safe but we didnt have any problems. The rooms are clean and bed super comfy. For a 3 star hotel you get what you pay for. Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
There is no doubt this hotel is good for traveling. The welcome and helpfulness of the staff was very good. The bedroom we had was wonderful. Every modern electrical convieniance. Plus a sauna in the bathroom. Only downside is the intinerant people outsde.
