Great service, nice room, bigger than we expected, although not up to American standards. Would have appreciated shampoo and conditioner be provided along with soap and freshed daily with the room cleaning, but the staff and amenities were great. Smartphone included with the room was a great touch. Highly recommended.

Good hotel, conveniently located about 20min walk to the Louvre. A couple of great restaurants next door.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was lovely. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The room was decorated nicely and the bathroom is amazing! It had a waterfall showerhead and the water pressure is great. They even had a towel warmer! It was nice that they provided a cellphone to use around town and was very helpful while touring. The breakfast was ok, it was the usual European continental breakfast. Overall great hotel, great location close to the metro, and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Les Plumes was an excellent hotel. The staff was very friendly, spoke English well, and was very helpful when needing some advice or assistance on how to get somewhere. The location was pretty good, but not within walking distance of anything except the area of Montmartre (realistically, the big things in Paris are all spread out anyway). The biggest plus of the location was that it was in a quieter area and was close to a metro stop that could connect you to anywhere you wanted to go! The rooms were small (to be expected) but we're spacious enough for us, and beautifully decorated. They were very clean and tidy. The only thing we didn't like was that the walls were fairly thin so we could hear people going in and out of their rooms somewhat often. Overall that wasn't that big of deal, and I would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone I know!

Great location, breakfast buffet, staff, and comfy room, at a reasonable price compared to other similar hotels in Paris

I booked this hotel because the pictures seemed like it was unique in a sea of 'Americanized' hotels, and I am so happy that I did! From the friendly reception to the super comfy bed, this hotel was perfection. I enjoyed the different decoration style, but the comfort and ultra-quiet room is really what made me fall in love with it. They even have a small drink station set up in the lobby in the evenings, so you can have a drink before bed or heading out late. The employees were available, but not pushy... This hotel is just a quick walk from the Metro, so easy to get around Paris with this as your base. There is an italian place 2 doors down that had decent food (I ordered delivered to the room), and a great little bakery at the end of the street that made it easy to pick up a lunch/snack to take with on explorations of Paris.

Cousy. Friendly. Great amenities. Good location. Nothing else to ask for. Just as an example, the shower has a huge rainfall fixture. The bathroom has a towel warmer. The room was very quite. All little details that I really appropriate from an hotel room.

Located in an alley way, it is quiet at night and very conveniently located next to a train station and a lovely bakery nearby. The room itself is small, but modern and clean. The bathroom was a good size and clean - one of our favourite hotels on our trip! Definitely won't dissapoint!

What a lovely hotel. It is convenient to the metro, restraunts, bakeries, and shipping. The staff was perfect and the facilities immaculate. I can't say enough about it.

Cute little hotel conveniently locates near a parking structure. Close to Les Halle's. Clean room with hip decor. Small, but standard for European hotels.

I stayed here for two nights and it was fabulous. This was my first time in Paris so when I arrived at Gare de l'est I decided to walk to the hotel instead of taking the metro because I wanted to look around. On hindsight, that was a mistake. Although not terribly difficult to find the experience was complicated by having to pull suitcases through streets that in same instances were under construction. I recommend taking the #7 Metro line from the train station directly to Cadet. The hotel is conveniently located to the station. When you exit Cadet station go to the right (there will be a McDonald's on the right). The next intersection is Rue Lamartine. Make a left, cross the street and it is probably less than 100 yards down the street. The staff were very, very friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough about how great the staff were. The room itself was comfy and the shower was great. There were double doors in the bathroom opening out onto the street. The windows are covered with material that I was able to see through and I was always wondering how much the residents across the street could see of me. The hotel offered breakfast but I was never able to make it down in time to enjoy it. The hours were, if I remember correctly,7:30 - 10:30. I know, what was I still doing in my room at that time?! What can I say? I like to sleep.. I would definitely stay here again. Be careful as you are visiting the sites of all the pickpockets and scam artists. It may help you to do some research online prior to arriving to know what to look out for and how to avoid it. Paris could be so much better if those scam artists could be removed. As long as you know what to look out for, you will be fine. They made the experience less perfect but I didn't let them get in the way of my visit.

Very quaint and lovely hotel! Receptionists are kind and friendly (they speak English as well, which is always helpful). The Wifi set up is a little annoying because you have to get a new password every 24 hours. Aside from that, totally recommend. It made Paris even more wonderful :)
