location is good, very closes to tube and a lovely walk to montmartre sacre couer side which is great. being here in august the room was stuffy and the second floor street facing family room meant sleep was difficult with windows open as it's very noise till very late at night. it's a very basic room, with bunkbeds if you've kids.

Paris was our first stop on our interrail trip and as this was my first time travelling, I was incredibly nervous. We got to Paris pretty late but we checked in straight away. The vibe right away was welcoming and friendly which put my nerves at ease. Our room was quite small - we were in a four bed dorm with and en-suite - and we were expecting to have a safe or locker in the room and there wasn’t one. The location was okay, about an hours walk to the Eiffel Tower but we enjoyed walking everywhere and seeing a lot of Paris. Overall the beds were comfy and the room was clean. We would consider coming back again.

The hostel was very basic. The shower cubicle was very small , it was hard to move around inside. However the room was all clean so I cannot complain. ALso there was an airconditioning unit in my dorm which is very useful in summer. There is not much of a social atmosphere so we didn't meet many people outside our dorm. However the plus side is that I had a nice quiet sleep. The location, whilst a metro is needed to get into the centre, was in a really nice french neighbourhood. Overall this hostel is a decent reasonable priced hostel in an expensive city.

I stayed here for 5 nights. It was a nice hostel, my 6 bed ensuite room had thick curtains, Aircon, a great strong shower, and lots of space between the beds so it was comfortable in that regard. The mattresses however were very soft, so much so that my shoulders were always sore the next morning because I was sleeping in a groove every night. There also was no free breakfast which wasn't great, it cost €6 if you wanted to avail of it. Overall it was pleasant, clean, and calm. Staff were also pleasant and helpful!

The room we stayed in was very small, so if we had not been 4 friends staying alone in the 4-bedroom but instead one person coming to stay with strangers at least I would have felt very awkward. Furthermore the shower was uncomfortable and it would have been good to have some soap in the bathroom. Otherwise everything worked totally fine, with a nice community room, a cute courtyard, lovely French balconies in the rooms and an excellent(!) location - but the details I first mentioned felt quite important especially considering what we paid for our stay, so not a 5 star experience.

We stayed here on our trip to Paris. It's a great location, near two metro lines and busses. Plus, lots of places to eat and shop and walk. Loved the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful, you can store luggage and our kids loved the free foosball. Nice shared kitchen area as well. The room was a nice size for our family and clean. There were no dressers or closest or anywhere to put clothes, so we lived our of our suitcases. And, it would have been nice to have a couch or somewhere to sit. No real air conditioning in our room, but big windows to open for a breeze, just be ready for the noise of the streets--my kids loved it. And, just an FYI, we were on the 5th floor and there wa no elevator, so be prepared for stairs. Overall, a nice budget-friendly location, but not many extras.

Below average. Friendly staff and good location but it's the only positive. Rooms are small, no lockers in the dorms so it's unsafe. Shower is a joke, you need to press button every 30sec to let the water go. And paying 52 EUR for a dorm I would expect better quality.

I found the amentities to be slightly lacking in the room. There were only 3 plugs for a 6 bed dorm. It would be nice if each bed could have its own plug, light and small storage basket like I've seen at other places. Also the security lockers are small and require you to add an additional 50 cents each time you want to open and close it. I think I really over paid for what I got. However, the ambience was nice and the reception staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful I've come across!

This hostel style / co living space is a perfect solution if you want to stay in Paris and you wish to save money on accommodation. Obviously you do not expect an outstanding performance in terms of structure, space, size of toilets and showers so if this aspect is a priority you probably must keep looking nonetheless if you are more about vibs, ambience and atmosphere this is absolutely the right place for you. Staff is lovely, warm and welcoming. Julie, the lady at the reception will literally alter your heartbeat since you step in at the check in but also the other member of the stuff are very nice and accommodating. At night common spaces are a bit crowded but there was space for everyone during the whole period l was there. Breakfast is not the best, actually 6€ is too pricey for what they offer so l suggest you to have your breakfast somewhere else, there are some nice cafés and “boulangeries” in the neighbourhood. On top of that they sell the leftover from the morning breakfast selling at 0.50€ per piece creating another little stream of revenue (???).Waters and other drinks available at reception are also pricey, a can of coke of 33cl is 2.50€. Being aware of all this l would definitely consider to stay at the Montclair hostel again for my next trip in Paris.

The worst hostels ever! I'm Agoda VIP and I have booked a ton of hostel on Agoda site. This is the worst hostel I ever booked! Save your money and stay away from this hostel. I have paid for 3 nights for this hostel and I have no room when I arrive this hostel in night. The reception is spinning his words and words and telling me no room for me. If there's room available, you still have to pay again. This is what happened to me! They do non-senses to me, I have no chance to stay in this hostel even I already paid a full price for the hostel. They refuse to refund me money even though they already sell my room to others. After a few hours argument, they told me they have another room for me for FREE if I stay at that hostel. Before I leave the hostel, they refuse to pay another hostel and I get force to pay again. It's one of the worst hostel I ever booked and have no room for me. What a scam, STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSTEL! NEVER BOOK ANY ROOM ON THIS PROPERTY!
