We stayed in Hotel WO recently during a short visit to Paris going on the collection of positive reviews on TripAdvisor. The hotel is located in an excellent location, 1 block from the metro in a nice, quiet area of Paris. All team members we came into contact with were extremely pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. Our room, located on the 6th floor (602) was very spacious, and came with a complimentary Nespresso machine and Amazon Fire Stick (very nice touch!). One gripe would be the very, very slow lift which is shared with staff - we had to wait almost 10 minutes one evening to get to our room as staff were transporting linen in the lift and we couldn't use the stairs due to a foot injury. I would certainly recommend the hotel for those looking for an affordable central experience (not the George IV) in central Paris, and with certain modifications (i.e. a service lift and a soft-refurb of public areas which are marked from housekeeping trolleys), it would certainly warrant a 5 star rating.
I stayed for 3 nights and they upgraded me to a room that was very comfortable, spacious by typical Paris standards. Very clean and most of the linen and furniture appeared recently refurbished. The shower was huge, and had full size glass doors which is VERY rare, no water on the floor here. Very courteous staff. Decent breakfast, although I usually just go out for mine, it's a good location with many decent options nearby. Happens to be a short walk from the Google offices, which I wish I'd realized when I was an employee there. Also very reasonably priced, my room in mid-December over a weekend was only $140/night or so including taxes, the quality was typical for a hotel at double that price.
It was great value for money. Around 200mts from Metro Saint Lazare Good for walking diretly to de Opera area. Quiet street A supermarket nearby A friendly and eficient staff only to improve a cheaper breakfast
The hotel was nice enough but nothing spectacular. Small rooms which I was expecting but it was very clean. I did like the windows that open up to the street in both the room and bathroom. The location is okay, the major plus that it has going for it is that the metro station is 1 block away. There are a fair amount of shops and cafes in close walking distance but I found the "main attractions" to be a bit of a trek, which is saying something because I love to walk. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful with directions. Oh, also of note but not a huge deal was that I could never successfully connect to the hotel's wifi.
This hotel really surprised me (in a great way). My mother and I stayed there for 3 nights and everyone in the hotel is extremely friendly, polite and nice (from the cleaning lady, who we asked for an extra hair cream and she gave me 3 with the biggest smile, to the receptionist who was always keen to help, to the breakfast lady, who even in stressed days was genuinely nice to everyone). We had issues with the internet in our room (even though it was working well in the lobby) and they didn’t hesitate to offer us breakfast for free during all of our stay (and quite a nice selection to eat). We had booked a private car to take us to the airport, which cost us 55EUR. However, during checkout I could not access the airline’s website to make my online check in and it really upset me (because I thought it was due to the bad internet, this time in the lobby). The hotel staff immediately reimbursed me the private car’s 55 EUR to make up for it (without hesitating), paying for it themselves. When I got to the airport, I realized the website was not working at all (and not due to the hotel’s internet). I’ve emailed them to ask for an account to make a deposit of the 55EUR back as it was not their fault, and they’ve answered me promptly, but saying they didn’t want the money and all they want is for their guests to be happy. This was such a nice gesture from management and it makes you really feel valued and respected as a guest. I understand issues with internet happens, and they really made everything they could to keep us satisfied. If you want a hotel that feels like home, next to the metro, about 7 min walking distance to the opera house, this is your place. I have only great things to say about the staff. Don’t hesitate.
except too small bed for 2 and not conect wifi, everything was perfect!! freindly staff, very clean room and bath. warm water also thoughtfull amunities, perfect location. There was a franfrix infront of the hotel. very convinient! When we will come Paris again, we stay here again! Good luck:)
We stayed at the Wilson Opera for three nights on a short leisure break. It’s quite small and the room on the third floor was quite small. But the staff were all very friendly and particularly helpful; from where to go, to trains and metro info, to booking restaurant tables. Breakfast was pretty good too. Good value for money and recommended.
We stayed for 6 nights and overall we are satisfied with our stay in the hotel. Only one thing to complain was the WiFi connection, it was unstable (for example, it took a long time to show the webpage or sent emails, and sometimes fail to show/send out). We talked to staff about this issue and staff said it will be improved in near future, so recommend this hotel, location, service is good, but if you need good WiFi connection, it will be better to check with the hotel before booking.
Hotel WO is a cute hotel located about 10 minutes walk to Galleries Lafayette and 15 minutes to the Roissy/Paris (CDG) Opera bus stop. The location is pretty great. It's also close to two metro stations (Europe and st. Lazare) and even closer to bus stops for multiple lines. It's tucked away on quiet Stockholm street. The hotel is small but has a tendy and modern design. We were greeted by a friendly front desk staff and given a map of the area and recommended restaurants. They also offer a car service to the airport for around €55 for 1 to 3 people. The studio room consisted of a queen or double bed, a small closet, desk, and a cute Parisian styled bathroom. Imagine black and white tile, tub, large windows that open to the street. Very cute! Overall, we had a good one night stay. The beds were too firm for us and the pillows weren't worth very much. Friendly staff, functional internet, quiet rooms, handicap accessible, and located in a central location. This a well priced hotel for guests who want to be close to shopping and yet tucked away on a quiet street. Extra perks such as free breakfast would make this hotel more appealing at its price point.
Stayed here with family for two nights. Positives: - Location is walking distance to some of the attractions and close to the metro. - Friendly Staff - Clean and Modern rooms with all the essentials - Restaurants and Shops nearby for dinner and breakfast I couldn’t really say there were any negatives. We all liked the hotel and would stay there again.
