This is a great location for those going to or from Normandy via train from Gare St. Lazare. We stayed just one night and appreciated the very friendly and helpful front desk staff and the delicious breakfast, which they ensured would be ready for our early departure for CDG. The front desk arranged for car service to the airport, too. The room was clean, comfortable, and compact. I probably would not stay here for a week, though.
We had a great stay at this small hotel. A huge perk is that it is so close to Gare St. Lazare. It's just a short walk. I booked the Deluxe Terrace Eiffel - room 602. It was wonderful. The room was on the top floor and fairly spacious for Paris and very comfortable. Just watch your head at night on the sloping ceiling. Overall, there was plenty of room. I appreciated having a refrigerator and Nespresso machine. The bathroom was enormous. It had a large bathtub and so many nice bath products. They thought of everything you might need from a toothbrush to a sewing kit. The best part was the terrace. It had two chairs and a table. It was nice to see all of the nearby buildings and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. We even stayed up to watch the 1 AM lights twinkle, and then see all of the lights in the city turn off. The staff was very attentive. They really seem to care about your happiness. If you email them directly, you can get a better deal.
Everything was excellent about this hotel. And the hotel stay made my stay in Paris wonderful. The location is perfect right next to one of the major train stations in paris, which means plenty of bus and metro lines as well as restaurants right there. But the hotel was in a quiet and cozy neighborhood. The room size was very generous and comfortable. Everyone made effort to make my stay comfortable. I felt at home. Will recommend even for a long stay and will come back.
I paid €189 for one night without breakfast. The staff are sweet. The hotel has no bar, and a basement breakfast room. My superior room had a comfortable bed, but was very dark. Only the bathroom had a bright light. No bath, only a shower. The worst was the noise. I was on the first floor - avoid. No view, no balcony. At 0700 on a weekday MASSIVE noise from building works in the building - drowned out the radio and made the cups jump up from vibration. I rang down and it was explained that it was local builders. When I checked out again complained, apology, but no discount or voucher. Just terrible experience. On no account stay here.
A very nice small hotel a couple of blocks from the Gare Saint Lazare - with nice rooms, nice linen and towels, clean and comfortable. For us we wanted something close to the train station, that was quiet and affordable.
We loved are stay at the Wilson Opera. The staff were great - friendly, courteous and helpful at all times. We loved the location steps away from the St. Lazare train station, where buses and trains converge which made getting to sights too far to walk to very easy, yet close enough to other major sights. The room was clean, quiet, air-conditioned, had great free wifi, and yes was small, but that is the standard in a big city, and who wants to spend time in a room for anything other than sleep when in Paris. We will definitely stay there again, and highly recommend this boutique hotel. Thank you Wilson-Opera staff for a memorable stay.
This is a boutique hotel in the business area in Paris where I stayed for two nights. The Wilson Opera is on a quiet street yet very close to a busy area where you can just walk to the train station, the Paris Opera and other fave spots like the Champs-Elyses and Lafayette Galleries as well as other big and famous shopping stores. Really, really loved my room on the 5th floor with a balcony and a panoramic view of the city. I had an early breakfast on the balcony overlooking Paris with a sunrise view! The staff is professional and friendly. It was a really wonderful experience and I would love to stay again!
very friendly host, nice breakfast, convenient location. the only disadvantage is no fine dining around, so we just dine somewhere else. classic room is very tiny, but who spent much time there if you are a tourist?!
We didn't get an upgrade because it was a busy weekend. It was totally fine for us but since someone commented that it was a natural to get an upgrade... No it wasn't. Great location, excellent staff. Baptiste and team were super nice and attentive. What an experience! Room was small as many mentioned. It was a bit dated though. Space was extremely tight but sufficient. Price was rather high for what you get but I reckon since you're in prime spot in terms of location, I'm not complaining.
The Hotel WO is a great price quality bargain! The rooms are nicely appointed, super clean, modern and some have views of the Tour Eiffel! The breakfast is fantastic! The location is great. Cant say enough good things of the hote wo and its staff!I have been a customer for the past 5 years at least once a month! Highly nrecomend.
