I chose the hotel for my bf birthday and the hotel staff went out if their way to make it special. We were treated as the most important guests in the hotel. It was incredible. The room was beautiful, extremely clean, room service and bar staff was a perfection. Hotel has a great location and I will definitely choose it again.
The Sofitel hotel was beautiful we stayed in a junior suite on 2nd floor, we had a room with massive bathroom with oval bath and walk in shower, there is plenty of tea/coffee for free and a mini bar with price list, All the hotel staff/cleaners/concierge were perfect hotel was always busy for food & drinks, would defo go back in a heartbeat! Me and the husband had a lovely 2 days break,
Very nice stay at the hotel. They were very helpful and friendly at the front desk. And I slept very wel , the matras was super! They have a nice breakfast , with fresh fruits. Very close to the metro.
We had the pleasure of calling the Sofitel home for 4 nights on our first trip to Paris. It was a magnificent hotel. Upon arrival we were told they had even upgraded our room. We stayed in a Junior Suite on the 5th floor. We were tucked back into the end of the hallway and it was better then perfect. Felt like a private little oasis. Our room was even bigger then we thought it would be and spoiled us for the rest of our Europe trip as each new Hotel we stayed at had to try to live up to the Sofitel, an impossible task! After walking the city all day coming back to a warm bubble bath was lovely. Even before our trip the concierge staff was instrumental in helping my husband make reservations for my Birthday dinner. He told them what restaurant we hoped to eat at and they made all the arrangements for us. All of the staff seemed to go out of their way to make our stay extra special. As a special surprise for my Birthday they decorated our room with rose petals and even brought a card and Apple tarte tartin to the room. Our server at breakfast each morning was Clement and he provided a great start to each morning. By our 2nd day he had our coffee order down just right. He would ask our plans for the day and even gave us a few great ideas of places to see. The breakfast buffet was extensive and always delicious! I will miss the morning bread basket! Each night during our turn down service we were left another special surprise. A lovely herbal tea was left each night on our pillows and one night we came back to find slippers. We will definitely be returning to this fantastic hotel on our next trip to Paris!!
I got a chance to stay at this hotel for one night in January. My husband had a meeting in Paris, and I tagged along. We are fans of the Sofitel brand anyway, but I was very happy that this location did not disappoint. Since my husband had to run straight away to his meeting, I checked in alone. Unfortunately for me, I didn't have our Accor Club card with us, so did not get the automatic upgrade or the complimentary drink or whatever other amenities are on offer with this very useful membership, but it was fine. I had a delicious breakfast in the small but perfectly comfortable restaurant in the lobby, and then when my room was ready, I dropped the bags and went outside. The location of this hotel is absolutely fabulous, if you want to shop. It's close to Avenue Montaigne, where I spent most of the day haha. I was back again in the evening to meet up with my husband, and we loved our tiny room. So cute! It had a comfortable bed, a perfect shower and a clean bathroom, and a really sweet little sitting area/office for working and/or eating. All very classy looking too. No view but it was for one night so I didn't mind. My husband said that when he asked for a room key (he got back earlier than me), he showed the Accor card and, even though it was too late for an upgrade, we got two complimentary drinks of champagne instead. So that was nice! And then we had to leave the next day, but we had a great time, and the people who worked at this hotel were very nice, and made our stay even nicer.
I like the location and amenities. Some of the room are tiny, but if you only use your room for sleeping, location and service will make up for it. Bar downstairs has great variety but ridiculously overpriced.
Had a very quick business trip to Paris. This hotel offered the rooms we needed. It was pricey and we needed to pay for two nights to insure it was available for an early check-in. That seemed crazy but we couldn’t risk having a room to prepare prior to our meetings. The hotel room was so clean and smelled so fresh. It made an impression. Also nice relaxing music was playing when I walked in. It was so nice. The bathroom was very large and the shower was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. We had a suite for our meeting and it was nice and came with a late day champagne bottle which I enjoyed drinking! Definitely check it out.
I stayed here for 2 nights and had an amazing stay for a business trip. I can not fault any aspect of this hotel. The hotel is in a great location for a little sight seeing and the convenience of shops and local restaurants. It’s not too busy around the actual hotel which is nice and meant I got a great nights sleep. I actually was not feeling well when I arrived but I was so rested and had such a great dinner I felt great. The steam set up in the shower gave it a spa feel and as my room was upgraded I relaxed in the seating area in slippers and robe. Dinner was exceptional as was breakfast I couldn’t stop talking about it huge compliments to the chef. I ordered room service and everything was hot and tasty,I had more than one tray delivered as the portions were huge for the three courses I ordered. It’s a 5 star centrally located so it’s pricey but it ‘feels’ 5 star, from the beautifully decorated hallways to the huge and well equipped gym the hotel itself has great amenities. My room had a lovely light feature which glowed in the dark along with a Bose system which was a nice touch for listening to surround sound and the radio whilst in the shower. The products in the bathroom were sumptuous as expected and the mini bar and snack options were varied and a great selection. I absolutely loved my stay I will always stay here when I come to the Paris office or to Paris with my family.
Our arrival in Paris did not bode well. A gift for my daughter's uni graduation this was supposed to be a trip of a lifetime. But the airline had given us middle seats from Los Angeles. Uncomfortable. We did as all the guidebooks said and ignored the freelance taxi drivers to wait our turn in line. We loaded up and the cab was promptly egged by angry drivers who wanted to punish two women of color (and their black driver) for ignoring them. Switching cabs we finally arrived at the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe and found welcome and peace. The clerk and concierge were warm and friendly. We asked about switching rooms and they apologized that nothing was available that night but we could switch for the remainder of our stay the next night. The concierge (Maxime) helped us find our way to Sacré Coeur for Christmas Eve service and was always willing and able to help us whenever he was working, especially securing reservations at a fine dining establishment and tickets to Moulin Rouge later in the week. But all the staff were helpful and accommodating. We loved our favorite Baristas at the hotel bar (one African French gentlemen at night and a lovely lady in the morning). The maids were wonderful. The restaurant served fantastic food by Chef Christian Constant and always fit us in even without reservations. Celebrating Christmas and New Year in Paris was fantastic, but being so warmly cared for by the staff made us feel like family. Merci Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe. We shall return.
I have never experienced a hotel with such friendly staff as here. Everything was more perfect than we could hope for thanks to Amine and Elena and all other staff. A perfect hotel and ideal location!
