No A/C, no Fan in the middle of heat wave. Need to “sleep” with window open on a 2nd floor concerned about safety plus people on the street out talking and smoking until 2:00 a.m. the location is central but this is a place I do not recommend nor I will visit again.

The property has amazing restaurants that are fun and vibrant. We had an issue with a package and a staff member on the desk was fabulous. He booked us a taxi which allowed us to make it to our train in time. We had a great time.

The best (and nearly only) good thing about this hotel is the location - its super central and very close to main attractions and metro stations. Now for the negative - the rooms are VERY old, no air conditioning, the windows are old and you can hear all of the noise from the street. There were people who gather on the street under the windows to drink and sing all night so we couldn't sleep at all! There is no amenities in the room whatsoever , just the bed, a chair and a desk. No fridge no nothing. It was relatively clean but just old and dated. Room is very small. If you just need somewhere to crash for the night it's good enough but I wouldn't reccomend it if you intend to spend any time in the room - it needs a serious update .

I had a door stop that I always travel with and I leave it on the ground in my hotel room near the front door. I only had my room cleaned one of the 5 days I stayed there and after my room was cleaned my doorstop magically disappeared. I asked about it at the front desk and they said they didn’t find anything. I’m disappointed that things were taken from my room.

Basic yet very clean & comfortable in a great area

We booked the hotel for three nights four months before departure & the reviews looked good. Checked reviews again two weeks before departure & some looked awful which filled us with trepidation. I therefore wish to leave this honest review. The hotel was basic, room was small with a lino type floor and jaded fittings. Yet both the room and bathroom were very clean and kept so for the duration of our stay. The room was also very comfortable. The hotel was situated in a surprisingly quiet & excellent city centre location & made an excellent base to explore the city. It was 20 walk from Gare de Nord so easily walkable if travelling light. The male receptionist was matter of fact & efficient. The lift near reception was very small with only room for 2 people maximum & I found it claustrophobic so used the stairs thereafter. On the first two mornings our room & the others as far as we could tell, suffered a power cut, but this did not extend to the electricity outside of the rooms as far as we could tell. The power was restored after 20 minutes on the second morning. We just laughed this off & got on with things. All in all I would say this is an excellent basic yet clean & comfortable budget hotel with an equally excellent location. If you prefer luxury, this is probably not for you.

Hotel is decent. Great area! I asked to be transfered to a different room if there was avsilability which was the best decision ever! The room I got transfered to is slightly larger and has updated amenities and everything is newly renovated compared to the first room. It made a big difference. Happy that there is an elevator. Very close to Metro. Lot of food choices around. Quiet area and quiet street.
