I recently returned from a long weekend in August 2017. The hotel is about 20mins in a taxi from the Eurostar train station, a nice journey which takes you past the eiffel tower for the first time! The hotel is in a great location, about 15min walk from the Eiffel Tower but only 5minutes from a fantastic square with lots of lovely bars and restaurants. The front desk staff are EXCELLENT! I contacted Sophie before staying to let her know it was my birthday whilst staying at the hotel, i got a lovely room and even had a balcony with a great view! The staff at reception couldn't have been anymore helpful, English was great and really lovely to talk to. The only thing i would say needs updating is the air conditioning, That particular weekend was over 30 degrees and unfortunatley the air con wasn't great. even when i turned it down to just 5degrees. Would certainly stay again and again! Danielle
We stayed at this hotel in 2015 and came back. It is within 20 minutes from the Eiffel Tower and across the street from the Metro. It is also near the river and train to Versailles. Small but good rooms and service with usual breakfast offerings.
Decent hotel, excellent front desk staff - very helpful. Rooms are small but for European standards they are OK. Breakfast has a very limited selection for the steep €17 per person! As for the location, it's on a very quiet street. Abt 15-20 mins walk to Eiffel. Closest Metro stop is a block away from the hotel. It's easy to get to anywhere using the metro. Versailles palace is abt 35 mins away, direct train, no change of train which was very convenient. There are only a few food options around this hotel and it's not in the most happening areas of Paris. But overall for the price, a pretty good place to stay.
The rooms are so tiny that you have to hold your breath in order to fit into the shower. That is not an exaggeration. I really liked the customer service here. The people were truly friendly, and the breakfast was okay, however, I would not say that I would come back again.
Rooms are quiet and clean, bed comfy and staff extremely friendly. This is a small hotel so there is no restaurant, however I ordered room service for dinner twice and it was fast and tasty. The location is good, very close to subway but in a quiet street.
This hotel is in a great location, around 20 -30 mins walk to the Eiffel Tower (depending on which way you go) and Javel – André Citroën metro opposite. Hotel itself is quite small with only 49 rooms, our room was ok and although the view consisted of another building it was comfortable. The wardrobe opened into the bathroom which was strange and the safe was right at bottom of wardrobe so not the easiest place to read the instructions unless you get down on the floor. If you like a cuppa early morning in your room it is worth taking your own tea-bags as we only had 2, one was mint and one was fruit, neither of which we drink. They only have 8-10 tables in the dining area so there is a chance of having to wait to sit down, it didn't matter what time we went for breakfast we had to ask for something or other as did quite a few guests, it seemed very unorganised and short of staff. I think if I had paid 17 euros as their tariff I would have been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they kindly let us keep our room on until 2pm at no extra charge on the last day as our train wasn't until early evening which was bonus. There are quite a few restaurant/bars nearby that serve lovely food and also have happy hour from 5pm-8pm which was welcoming when a G&T is 10 euros ! We probably wouldn't stay here again as we like to stay in different areas but would recommend it if you want to walk to Eiffel Tower/River Seine.
I booked this hotel through a travel agent. Welcome was great, reception were v helpful, room was lovely (comfy, clean, nice view). Hotel was a pleasant 15 min walk from the Eiffel Tower and very quiet. , great for a good night sleep. However, it is not a 4 * hotel in my opinion - bags were not taken to ours room, no complimentary drink on arrival (I am basing this on recent stays we have had in the same star of hotel). Most disappointing was the breakfast - very unorganised, not a great a great selection (things seemed to have ran out), was not offered tea or coffee at the table. I am not trying to sound snobby or lazy but I went for a 4 star as a little luxury - this hotel is not that. Both mornings we were not impressed with breakfasts. The guy serving was really helpful but why no more staff? Why not a better service? This said we enjoyed our paris stay but this hotel, in my opinion, is not a 4 star.
I absolutely loved our stay here at the mecure. It says 4* but its more of a 5*. This was our second time returning here and again we both came away looking forward to our next return. We are frequent travellers and have stayed at many hotels but this is by far one of the best we have stayed in. The location is fantastic, 1 minute walk to Jarvel and around 15 minutes walk to the Eiffel tower. Also closely located by is a shopping centre. We travelled to celebrate our wedding anniversary and where upgraded free of charge. The room was spacious, decorated to a high standard and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was no noise from outside, so we always have a good nights sleep. Our room had a stunning view over looking the river seine. INFO- most brits when we travel we tend to avoid the mini bar in the room as it normally is extremely overpriced but in this hotel the minibar was FREE!! We had one coke, diet coke, orange juice and two bottles of water in our room for every day. The staff. I cant praise the staff enough for there constant help and ensuring everyone was ok. They where always there for friendly assistance and also to give tips on where to go. In all honesty Sophie made our trip extra brilliant with all her help and organisation. Nothing was too big or too small. We can not thank Sophie enough for all her help and hard work. Sophie helped us to arrange taxis, printed off directions, booked us a river boat cruise with dinner and also presented us with a stunning bouquet of flowers on our anniversary. Also nattin was a delightful and friendly member of staff too. The staff are the best in the business. We loved the fact that there where always croissants and pastries available free of charge. They tasted very nice. We have stayed at others hotels in Paris but this is the best hotel in Paris with the best staff without a doubt. Massive Thank You to Sophie. Merci Sophie x
Stayed here for 1 night during our quick family trip to Paris and found this hotel with a great deal along with our travel. - very good location. Just next to one of Paris metro train station. - rooms are comfortable for family.I got a previled room. - breakfast was good - Staff are cool and friendly. - about 1 mile from Eiffle tower. Overall a must stay.
I had a truly wonderful time during my stay. When hotel management heard that my boyfriend and I were on a romantic weekend getaway, they sprinkled rose petals on the bed and in the ensuite as a surprise! There were also little chocolate hearts on the bed, which didn't go amiss. Very thoughtful and cheerful service by Julien and Sophie, our receptionists, who did an impressive job. No demand was too small, and we felt well taken care of. While the hotel itself is small, the rooms are spacious, and ours had a lovely view of the Seine. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is well-located, with easy links to the rest of Paris. It's hard to find anything bad to say about this place - the price is reasonable, service was attentive, and the hotel itself was comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay there. Highly recommended.
