This hotel was great. Very clean, staff was awesome, wifi was fast. It truly exceeded our expectations.

I was in Paris for work, which meant being on the Metro a lot, eating in the Republique neighborhood, & needing a hearty breakfast every morning. HOme had great staff, perfect location, good amenities (Nespresso coffee 24/7, gym, spa), and many very good places to eat within a 2-block walk. My only quibbles are that the mattress was too soft (I got a backache after the 4th day), I kept finding the housekeeper's individual hairs in my room, and they promise one-day laundry service, but it always took two days.

My husband and I found a warm welcome from the staff at the desk at Marais HOme. Though the room was small, it was cozy and beautifully decorated, and their was a coffee machine in the room. The breakfast, though relatively expensive, was nevertheless excellent and generous, and we found we didn't need to eat again until the evening. The rooftop terrace gives a great view of the chimney pots of Paris, and the 2-minute walk to the Metro station was a huge plus. Free newspaper, excellent coffee and croissants available at the desk.

If you need a place to stay that's clean, comfortable, and relatively close to attractions and the metro then this is your place. They've renovated to give it a modern feel which is nice since it is small. But again, this is a place to rest your head at night, store your things, and be out and about most of the day. We are rather picky when it comes to budget hotels, had stayed in many, and would definitely book the Marais again. Happy travels!

great staff, small rooms even for paris, nice free coffee all day

An ideal size hotel situated in a great location for Metro, food & shopping. It was so easy to get around. Great eateries are within walking distance just as well as great shopping in this area. The staff were excellent & helpful & friendly. Top marks. Nepresso coffee machine sits next to reception desk & we could have one at any time of the day on the house. The snacks on the house helps as well. I was upgraded to a deluxe room from a standard without extra cost. Delightful.

Staff very friendly, clean room, BEST SHOWER EVER. Rooms are tiny so I felt to sleep everytime I was in there. So very good for sleeping. This is not for ppl who want a very touristic (Eiffel tower/louvre) type of trip. That stuff is on the other side of town . This makes for a more authentic fashionable take on Paris.

The rooms are very bright, fresh and clean. We had an excellent stay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They even managed to extend our stay last minute (for which we paid cash for the extra night) at a very competitive rate (though not as good as you'll find on this site. Great experience overall.

Great location, friendly staff, nice room. Wish that the staff had first aid kit, as the first thing i did was skin my knees and hands on a run. Also, breakfast is quite expensive. But would definitely stay their again.

This is a new hotel, and the staff was untrained on how to deal with procedures and problems. We had 3 different rooms in 4 days due to their inability to handle air conditioning issues. Although a minor point in general, they couldn't even provide ice, even though they had a kitchen for breakfast. The staff was courteous, but basically incompetent due to the lack of training. The night clerk did not know enough French to work with the system, and he also thought he had to charge me for the room, even though I had prepaid. Maybe in a year I'll consider going back.

This was a great choice for my plans for a 4-day business/personal trip to Paris. The room was quite small, as is typical for every place I've stayed in Paris regardless of price category. But the hotel is very well-run and super stylish, boutique hotel atmosphere. The location was quite good, very close to Republique & Bastille, and right at the edge of the Marais (though not actually in it). The best asset of the Ho Marais are the very friendly staff. They are eager to help and create a wonderful B&B feeling. The only issue during my stay was the sauna and hammam were out of service, which was a bit disappointing. I very much recommend new or returning visitors to Paris to stay here!

Hotel is a good option for those willing to explore Paris, staying in a trendy neighboorhood such as Marais. New, clean and fairly priced. Excellent breakfast.
