Five minute walk from Gare Du Nord and easy to get to. Opposite Gare De L'est so perfect for the metro. I did e mail the hotel to ask for our rooms to be next to each other, but I don't think they received it as we were on floor 2 and 6, but with What's up and a lovely reception area to wait in, it was not a problem. Breakfast was delicious and the gentleman serving us was lovely. All the staff members were fantastic. Our room had something on the light switch and ac controls, but I just wiped them off. Also there was something going on outside the train station. We still do not know what it was, but lots of noise during the night. Not the hotels fault and will probably never happen again. There were homeless in a door way because of the rain opposite the hotel, but they were entertaining to watch from the window. Because there is always someone on reception and the main door is locked, you felt really safe. With a Burger King one end of the street and a McDonalds the other, it was perfect for my son, but we eat at some other gorgeous restaurants too, it just gave him confidence that he would be able to eat. My friend had her purse stolen on the metro with the hotel key in it. But the receptionist was lovely and said no problem and sorted out a new key. The other good thing is the key is blank. It rained most of the weekend, but we still had an amazing time and I am really pleased with my choice of hotel.
We found the hotel room to be quite small. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient, and it was nice to be located close to the east train station, but we had to take a taxi as we had two large suit cases.and needed to get to the North train station, a little further away.
Very nice Place for a Holiday Trip through Paris! I highly recommend it for families and couples. Gare the l‘est Is just 5 Minutes away. And You get an excellent breakfast in the Hotel. We just Liked it!
This place is right across the street from the train station. The rooms are clean and Very secured. We were very satisfied with the location and the people who run the Hotel. We would stay here again😊😊😊
Fantastic hotel. Best breakfast I've had as it perfectly suited my personal needs. I liked the location as everywhere was walkable or accessible by bus or uber. The only thing I would suggest is that if you don't enjoy the rumble and shake of the metro underneath, ask for a high floor. Had I been told to expect this beforehand I'd have paid extra and had a room on a higher floor.
Stayed here on a business trip. The excellent reviews were confirmed during the visit. Very convenient for trains & many good restaurants within short walking distance. Excellent breakfast & very clean & comfortable! Would definitely return.
everything perfect, nice decoration of the rooms, could sleep with open windows, choose a room to the courtyard, walking distance to Gare de l'est and Gare du Nord, only downside not so safe neighborhood.
I choose this hotel because of the location. It was mentioned 4 star at most of places including a sign on front door. But Timmy surprise the hotel is not 4 star I would be very generous to give 3 star to this. Though location is fantastic. Rooms are neat and clean staff is very friendly but the basic need for a 4 star are far far fetched. Lobby is on first floor small in size. Resturant where they serve breakfast is also small. There is staff of only 2 People. Once in ground floor to guide and other on 1st floor. He is same room service. There is no Resturant in hotel though there are many Resturant near by flavouring everyone taste. It is more like a family run hotel which don't know how got 4 star. In rooms there was no electric kettle. No iron board. Just a basic room where you can either stand or lie down. Although the furniture is there but there is no space to accommodate them. In summary I would rate this hotel to be good but not to 4 star standard.
I like the location a lot. It's right in front of Gare de l'Est, 4 minutes walk from Gare du Nord. Which means access to RER to Airports. And several subway lines. Lots of services around. Like a Monoprix just downstairs, Marché St-Quentin and several bakers nearby. Noise might be the only issues with room 103. The hotel is right on top of a subway line and they dont' run very deep in Paris. Even on floor above ground, i would sense the trains from morning to night. Also first floor is the reception and dining area, door could have better sound proofing. To note, it's the only room on that floor. Just insure you have another. Should be better upstairs. The room was small but large enough for one person. This room might be tight for 2 with luggages. Very well designed, efficient, with great products in the bathroom. Recent renovation or transformation. Wifi was borderline, dropping often. Even on a rainy day they had ample supply of umbrellas. AC was working. I am definitively considering switching to this hotel for regular visits to Paris if they keep reasonable prices.
We chose this hotel for location close to the Gare du Nord. The neighborhood is scruffy at best but when you take the lift to the first floor lobby, surprise! A modern friendly hotel. Our room was not ready at 2 pm (check in is 3 pm) so we left to explore Paris--metro is 20 steps away but we walked. And walked. When we got back at 10 pm, our suitcases were already in our 7th floor room. No noise at the top--great sound-blocking windows. View of Lit-up churches in the distance. Lovely. Great breakfast. A hidden gem.
