far from everything and the AC was loud

This place has a great atmosphere, good service, clean and friendly!!!

Had a very comfortable, clean and pleasant stay at Hotel Littre. Montparnasse is less touristy where you can experience Paris and it's people. Metro very close and takes you to all points. Hotel staff couldn't have been any nicer and we highly recommend Littre.

Friendly staff and great facilities. Good breakfast options in room or in dining

We as family of four stayed for 4nights. Hotel is in perfect location with friendly staff, very clean. I have nothing negative to say abt this place .

Overall I recommend this place. The staff, esp the night staff, were great. The location is perfect and close to both the pink/4 and green/6 lines. There is a market close by and several little cafes. I recommend the Forum Bar down the street for really inexpensive drinks. Also, the Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant next door is actually very good if you want a change of flavor. There were some major issues with air conditioning the first 2 days (During a heat wave!) which definitely impacted my impression of the facilities. Also they don't allow you to picnic in the garden area which was frustrating as there was no other use for it. We were sent to our room to eat our snacks and there are no parks around. The bar was nice and the staff were good. Breakfast is expensive (20 euros) but if you have someone who needs a large breakfast it's good. There is also a bakery down the street and they have sandwiches and bread (though again, the only place to eat it close by is your room). If you want to eat in the garden, you have to buy their stuff. But they have very few options so it is a no win situation. We had 3 people/adults and were quite comfortable. The size of the room is good and staff kept the hotel very clean. Overall a good stay but serious frustration with the AC and no picnic policy.

Stayed here only one night before flight home to USA. Stayed at different hotel for 3 nights in Paris before a cruise from Rome. First hotel was nicer, better location. This hotel did not have free coffee as other hotel did. The doorman was also the bellhop and if you wanted a cocktail at their very tiny bar, he was also the bartender, but had to be called there from other duties. He was very nice and helpful with information and directions, but really?

From arrival to departure, hotel staff were cordial and helpful. Room on third floor was clean, quiet and well equipped. Metro connections excellent. Many decent cafes in the area. Easy walk to main shopping, Luxembourg Gardens. Not in the center of action--if Champs de Elysees and the Eiffel are the action places, but a great location to chill for a few days.

The hotel staff sent us a welcome email the week of our arrival, and responded within a day to our inquiries. We arrived late morning, and were so pleased our room was ready. The hotel is centrally located, just down from a busy street. Our bedroom was quiet, and very comfortable. We could walk to the Rodin Museum, the Eiffel Tower and along the Seine. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was very helpful.

I was in Paris for business and stayed 3 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. However, the best part was the very friendly staff. They helped make my stay the best it could be. Merci Le Littre!

I visited Paris and stayed at Le Littre. It is centrally located and everything is within reach including the metro, long distance rail tracks and cabs. A huge thanks to Mr Laurent (night shift) who provided valuable advice how to best utilize the week. The hotel service was very helpful for our needs. We could get any service we wanted from room service fast !!

I had a wonderful stay there. The picture is the same as the actual room. The rooms are bigger than other Paris hotels. The size was equal to a comfort inn in the USA.We were able to move around with ease. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They gave us directions to all the tourist spots. Just 6 stops on the metro to the effect tower. Just 5 stops to the main street champs elysees. I would have given it a 5 stars if not for the location. The location was a problem for us at night because we were so tired from tours we did not want to travel far to the famous restaurants even though just a short train ride. Other than that the hotel and staff deserve a 5.

It's average and ordinary... very good location but nothing special... no amenities.

The hotel is located centrally and near the metro but the room was Tiny and the WiFi hardly ever connected. Even the business center had little to no internet. We never ate there nor was there any view from the hotel so don't get conned into the pictures of the Eiffel Tower in there add. More of a 2.5 star to us.

The room was great for our family of 3. Nice sized bedroom for us and a door between us and a sitting room with a fold out bed for our teenage daughter. We even had a balcony. The location was close to two metro stations, very convenient. Many restaurants nearby. The staff was wonderful, very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice staff... I've asked for a two double bed room and it was a double bed only but it was comfortable.

Le Littre was a pleasant experience. It was a little difficult to find at first but gets easy once you get acquainted with the area. Metro (Montparnasse Station) is in close proximity and one can get to all the attractions easily using the metro. The room was fairly large and very clean, the staff was helpful and courteous. They carried our bags to the rooms, a service we did not experience at other hotels in Europe. It is a little expensive, but we got a discount which made it better.

Hotel Le Litre is centrally located and a very short distance by train to many tourist attractions. There are quite a number of restaurants in the area for late night dinners. The hotel has a good breakfast buffet, but make sure it is included in your room rate. When checking in, I was told that there was a buffet in the morning, but they did not inform me there would be a separate charge (if it wasn't included in my room rate).

Le Littre is a typical Paris hotel. The hotel is in a good location, situated between Montparnasse and St. Germaine, on a quiet street. The hotel is quiet, lighting a bit dim. The rooms are a nice size for Paris, but the interior of the room is somewhat aged. Staff is friendly although it takes quite awhile to check-in and check-out even with nobody else in line, typical of Parisian hotels. Not a bad stay, but 3.5 stars would be more descriptive of the place.

Based on reading the previous reviews of this hotel, we think that how good your stay will be is heavily dependent on what room you get. We stayed in room # 311, a Saint-Germain guest room. We very much enjoyed our stay. The highlights of the hotel were the very spacious and well appointed bathroom, a nice separate sitting area where we enjoyed eating breakfast in our room. (As a tip, we skipped the breakfast downstairs and instead purchased the delicious pastries and quiche across the street at "Boulangerie Littre.") The location while not ideal for walking to most tourist attractions is great for restaurants, markets, shopping, and metro access (5-6 lines). We basically took a different metro each morning. There are a few minor bad points however. The internet access in the room is a bit expensive (although the free wireless in the lobby is decent). The view from the lower floors (such as ours) is very limited although quiet and the adjacent windows are a good distance away. The one thing we cannot comment on is price. It seemed reasonably priced to us but it was our first trip to Paris.

Dear Tera, We value your feedback and thank you for taking the time to submit a review regarding your recent stay with us. I am so glad that you enjoyed our centralized location and all the attractions that we are so close to. Inside Paris is much practical to use the public transportation and we have plenty metro station and bus stops nearby. Regardinh the ac problem, we appreciate you brining these details to our attention. We are changing some of them this month so none of our other guest have this same experience. Sorry about not pic nicquing at our inner garden, however, we have our verandar for this. I sincerely do hope that these negative aspects you experienced have not permanently marred your opinion of the Hotel Le Littré, and remain at your entire disposal. Dear Kathleen, Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your past stay at our property. We appreciate you brining these details to our attention, I can assure you that your feedback is well valued. Please allow me to apologize that your recent stay with us did not live up to expectations. Usually our location is our strong point among our guests because we are located in the street very calm, but very close to the second most popular avenue for shopping. A pity that this street did not please you. Regarding our doorman, sometimes, in the absence of our bartender, he also helps with other services related to the reception of clients. I sincerely do hope that these aspects you experienced have not permanently marred your opinion of the Hotel Le Littré, and remain at your entire disposal, We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again! Best regards, France CLAQUE Sales Director
