As a female solo traveler, I wanted my hotel in Paris to be safe, clean, and in a convenient location. The Hotel Georgette met all of these requirements. It's nearby several Metro stops and just a 10 minute walk away from Notre Dame, in a populated area where I felt safe, with lots of shops and restaurants. The only drawback is the hotel is quite small, with just a tiny alcove next to the cafe as the lobby. My room was quite small as well, without much closet space or room around the bed. For that reason, I probably wouldn't return to this hotel if I were traveling with a partner or a group, but for my purposes on this trip it was perfect. The room was well-decorated and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Very nice room, clean and comfortable. Lovely restaurant right down stairs
Very close to everything! Staff was awesome. Room was so cool with nice city view.
Ok not more that this. Location is good. Not that comfortable.
The hotel was decent and conveniently located in Marais, close to some favorite spots like Hotel Les Bain and Derrieres, and walking distance to Pompidou and a lot of Marais attractions. The hotel itself was nice and clean with friendly staff. However, the rooms was so extremely small that it was very hard to share it with 2 people. Also, I would suggest a bit of an update to the rooms, and maybe get rid of that shag carpet, as didn't feel super clean...
My husband and I spent a week in Paris and Hotel Georgette was the perfect hotel . Louvre , Cluny, Pompidou, Shoppng and earring in Marias was all in easy walking distance . Staff was great . Morning breakfast was nice . It's hard to find a breakfast when heading out early so it was worth the 8.00 charge. Gay friendly . Great local restaurant and a grocery store across the street !
Room is small but efficient. Staff is eager to accommodate. Main draw is location and easy walking access to market (Rombuteau is were we liked to shop daily), attractions, and Metro. Unfortunately there is currently construction on the street. This resulted in noise (jackhammers during the day). And a car park facility located on the boulevard creates enough privacy that the walk in proximity of the hotel frequently has the strong smell of urine.
My first time traveling to Paris (and I'm from the US). The staff was very friendly and spoke English perfectly well. Unfortunately the elevators were not working when I arrived with 3 heavy bags but the gentleman at the desk helped me take one of them up the 4 flights of stairs to get to my room. They made it up to me with a free breakfast. The room was a bit smaller than I expected from the pictures but still comfortable. Everything seemed nice and new as the hotel is only a year old. I liked the decor and the personality it gave to the space. Lastly and most importantly to me was that the location was perfect for seeing the main sights and walking around.
This was a hotel that appears to have been renovated very recently in a very modern style. Great location near the Centre Pompidou and near the subway. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. I was in Paris in the middle of a heat wave and the air-conditioning in the Hotel Georgette worked great.
