There is NO air conditioning in the rooms. There is black mold growing on the walls and around the vents. I told several staff members and nothing was done. The bed is hard and uncomfortable. The location is central to sights, but that’s about the only redeeming quality. Save your money and your back and stay elsewhere.

Lovely neighborhood. Immaculate room & bath. Tasty & diverse breakfast. Helpful & friendly staff. So much for a reasonable price. Will stay here again

Good hotel, good location. Rooms are pretty small but really clean. Big plus on cleanness! Space is an issue as the Toilet and the bathroom are located in two different rooms. It is good for what you pay for. The only real issue I had was thickness of the walls. You can hear ppl in the next room at times and you can definitely hear when someone flushed the toilet on your plumbing line. Then again all Paris buildings are old so this will likely happen elsewhere too.

Breakfast was very good. Lots of options. Staff helpful and friendly. Beautiful building.

The hotel is in a classical part of Paris with 6 story buildings and many streets coming into plazas. It is close to Montmartre, Sacra Coeur, and the Opera area. The hotel is charming and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms. It is a great place to see the charms of Paris.

We loved our stay at the hotel. It was within walking distance of a mile or two to what we wanted to visit and the windows overlooking the street were amazing. It is in a neighborhood so cafe and bakery prices around the area were very reasonable. It is a European hotel, so rooms are small by American standards (think cruise ship sized) and a bit different on bed sizes. I did notice a few corners in need of touch up paint and such, but everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were amazingly helpful and spoke English very well!

Hotel is a little bit dated, .but was clean. The front desk staff were excellent. its on a quiet street with minimal night time noise. Overall we were very pleased

The property was very clean. Staff very friendly. Our only issue was that we requested a balcony so we can sit outside to drink our morning coffee or evening wine and we did not get balcony. They said the room had a balcony but it was only a ledge to step on with a guard around it. Both of us could not stand there at the same time & no way could we put a chairs out there

Great location, walking distance to Montmarte and the Opera area, and close to several Metro stops. The hotel itself is located on a quieter street, and, as a light sleeper, I had no issues with noise keeping me awake. The room was small but comfortable, and the staff pleasant. Would recommend!

We just returned home from a four night stay at this hotel. Overall, our experience was great. The hotel is located near several metro stations, making it easy to get around. It is near moulin rouge and plenty of restaurants/bars within a 10 minute walk. The rooms we very clean- especially the bathroom. The staff were all incredibly helpful and willing to answer any questions we had, guide us around and offer assistance in any way.

A nice hotel in a quiet and convenient neighborhood. Only a few minutes walk from two metro stations.

Nice hotel in a good neighborhood- just wish the room was a bit bigger! Good closet made it work though.

Great staff! Very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was great. They even have an orange juicer for fresh juice.

The hotel was as close to perfect as possible. It was clean, comfortable, and quite sufficient. The shower and sink were separate from the toilet room. That was great for me as I had traveled to Paris with my nephew, so when one of us was in the shower...the toilet could be used by the other. We liked the staff well. They were kind, polite, professional, helpful and spoke English for us. We arrived early morning and though it was too early to get in to our room, the hotel stored our luggage until we could check in. All amenities listed online were present and great. The rate was very good/reasonable/affordable. If I (we) ever return to Paris we will stay in Hotel Elysees-Opera.

Paul in Reception was exceptionally helpful in helping me with directions. Much appreciated.

The room is very small, no AC and the carpet is very dirty, we had seen insects on the carpet. Stains on the bed skirt... Also, there might be flea as i got a few bites over the nights of stayed.

I'd like to clarify that my rating is based on my personal experience the week I was there. The hotel itself is very nice, with friendly staff and decent rooms and breakfast. The issue I had was with the last two nights I was there. The A/C went out and it was 95 degrees outside. I received no support from the staff except "we called the technicians." No contingency plan like fans or anything else was available either. It was practically impossible to be inside the room for more than 10 minutes. Even with the windows wide open, the heat was unbearable. I had to hang out in the lobby most of the early afternoon since even though I was told the A/C had gone out in all the hotel, the lobby was nice and cool. The last night I was able to sleep well with the window open but just because I got lucky the temperature cooled at night. Other than this horrible experience... the hotel is very nice, well located and with decent rooms. Wifi could be improved though.

Hotel was in a great quiet part of the city. Lots of great local places to eat. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very helpful!

The staff was extremely helpful. Allowed us to keep our bag there while we visited Paris because we were traveling later that evening. The staff was very nice, helpful, and gave us great information. The neibirhiod is very lively, great restaurants and shops very close by. Also very convenient to all the popular locations. There are many bus stops and three metro locations near by. We were able to grab a nice breakfast in a nice neighborhood before going to Paris. Also we were able to pick up fruit and groceries at to keep in the room. The room was a little small but honestly you don't want to spend a lot of time in the room anyway.
