Holiday Inn Paris - Montmartre

Staff were very helpful and with the added bonus of hotel parking facilities close by made this an ideal hotel for a short break in Paris. Tube station was 15 minutes walking distance which was also convenient. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but not mind blowing and the so called bar and lounge area was non existent. I would not rate this hotel as 4 stars but 3.5 stars.

We just came back from a 7 night stay at this great location on a residential street. We felt like locals the whole time roaming through the streets near Damremont. Our room was on the 6th floor and split into two bedrooms, which was necessary given we have two preteens tagging along. Each room had very comfortable beds (we did not want to get up...), a clean bathroom and even a fridge! We skipped out on the hotel breakfast to explore the nearby bakeries and markets, wanting to feel a bit more like residents. What I truly appreciated most of all, was the great service provided the by the staff. We got in early and the room was available by 10:00 AM, perfectly clean and comfortable for weary travelers coming from the States. Can't say enough about Manvale, Iryna, Al (superstar), and Margie. They went above and beyond, always cheerful and willing to help at all times with maps and directions. My family would certainly stay here again on our next stay in the gorgeous Montmartre. Truly an unforgettable trip. Merci a vous!

I stayed at this hotel from 17-22 November. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet residential area of Paris, close to the Sacré-Cœur, Pigalle and the Moulin Rouge. Booking the room was simple and straightforward using the IHG app on my iPhone. Check-in was swift and so was check-out. The rooms are OK, perhaps a little small and dated. My room on the 6th floor (606) was quite dated, with the wallpaper peeling off in some areas. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. The breakfast at the hotel was good. The main issue that I had was the room and service in the restaurant. I did not find service at breakfast particularly welcoming and the staff didn't like the fact the I wanted to take 2 pieces of fruit back up to my room with me. Seriously? I paid nearly 1000 Euros for 5 nights and they didn't like to see a guest take 2 piece of fruit with them up to their room. Very odd indeed. Also, as a Spire Elite Ambassador I did not get the automatic upgrade that I was entitled to. Now I found this quite disappointing as every other Holiday Inn that I have stayed at provides this upgrade without any discussion and debate. In summary, this is a above average hotel but it did not really feel like a real Holiday Inn, it felt more like a franchise managed in a mediocre way.

This hotel is located in City centre close to metro and bus station . The staff are very polite and helpful especially one who is Albanian! (unfortunately I don't know her name ). Everythings were good at this hotel . We were stayed six nights and enjoyed . Breakfast was also good althoght it could be better . At the last time when we were going to airport we asked receprtion call a taxi but because we were too late so took another taxi and couldn't inform the hotel . Hereby I apologize to did so . Sorry for that .

First of all, Montmartre is a nice neighbourhood. We enjoyed our walks around the area and there are lots of stores and cafes around the hotel. It is a bit far from other main attraction but if you enjoy a miles walk like we do then it's not so bad. The hotel, i can say is just a place to sleep for us, which means we booked it for that purpose only. Although when we talked about sleeping, it's a challenge as the room is hot and the air-condition is turned off. There are shampoo's and soap available but no toothbrush, cotton buds etc.. and no face towel as well as no complimentary bottled water so tap water it is. We have to purchase our own water from outside. The breakfast is good although on our last day it run out of bread so we have to settle for toast only. The seating area is quite tight and we cannot sit on our own choosing. The reception personnels are quite helpful and the taxi service is excellent.

I really liked a lot of the hotel. Large room by Paris standards. Large bathroom with the fluffiest towels. Beautiful view of the rooftops. The big negative is the room temperature. It was September and still decent weather. The room was very warm. We tried to put on the air conditioning but it didn’t work. We called down to the front desk and were told that the air conditioning was turned off in the building. This was disappointing and would prevent us from staying here again. We were able to open the window but it wasn’t able to cool the room. In addition, there was a heavy duvet on the bed. Perhaps the option of a separate sheet only would be helpful.

...waking up to a georgous rooftop view. Large bed. Comfortable pillows. Clean quiet room. Location of hotel is good. In the less touristy part of Montmartre. But lots of nice restaurants and grocery shops in the neighbourhood. Not that close to Metro- 10 minutes walk but lots of disobedient cute dogs that one meets on the road. This is a very dog and humanfriendly zone . And staff at reception are brilliant and serviceminded.

2 spotlessly refurbished adjoining rooms for 2 adults & 2 kids for the same price as one room in other hotels nearby. Good position... 10 min walk to Montmartre, nice cafes nearby. Staff very helpful. Great affordable option.

The room we booked was technically two rooms. It was advertised on the IHG website that it could accommodate 5 people. That is not true! Not sure if we didn’t get the correct rooms or what but we are family of 5 and there was only enough beds for 4 people. One queen bed and 2 twins pushed together. The bathrooms were okay and the rooms were clean but small. Our rooms were noisy because of the street. One of the rooms was constantly warm even though we wanted cool air so we had to keep the window open most of the time which made it even noisier. The staff wasn’t very nice either. It seemed like we were bothering them. We got in very late after a canceled flight so we were tired and hungry and the guy at the desk couldn’t have cared less. We didn’t eat the breakfast there because it was pretty pricey at 15 euro per person so we just got some amazing breakfast down the road. Lots of shops and restaurants available in the area which is nice.

2nd time at this hotel and hopefully won't be the last. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Although in a popular area the hotel is in a quieter area and I heard no noise during my stay. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Excellent breakfast buffet. I did have a problem with my safe ( as it turned out it was my fault for which I apologise) however thanks to Raphael for his help and the friendly way in which he helped sort out the issue and explained the issue to me the following day.
