A very small hotel... like a boutique hotel. We stayed for 10 nights. we booked a studio apartment, comes with a kitchenette with some crockery and utensils. well designed rooms. very compact. cannot believe that in a small space there is a kitchenette and a study table and a mini dining table. yet feels spacious. well lit bathroom. Ginger, her husband and Robert were always available to make stay comfortable. A very quiet location. Metro station just about 10 minutes away and good restaurants and shopping nearby. i would give full marks to the hotel. however a suggestion the TV should have been a bit larger screen keeping the distance from the pillow to to the TV in mind. And there could have been some English languauge channels especially for the news. an additional electrical oulet for mobile charging would have been bnice. Otherewise cleanliness, service excellent. they even have in house launderette where you can use after paying a small amount for soap etc. very convenient.
We stayed here to go to a couple of the Women's World Cup games. It was a great location and super close to the metro. Many restaurants nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff. Hotel arranged airport pick up for us and a taxi back to airport at 5am. Definitely recommend. Washer and dryer available to do some laundry.
We have stayed at the BRH on at least eight occasions over the years. We have a holiday home in Normandy and will take a three hour drive into Paris for a couple of days every other year as a little culture/ R&R bonus and a break from our renovation project. Okay, firstly it's not in "central" Paris. It's outside of the Periphique (the orbital road around Paris Centre). It is however, very well located for transport as you can avoid heavy traffic in the centre and just dart around dropping off at different points from the periphique. Even better, just ditch the car and hop on the metro. The marcel Sembat station is a five minute walk and only a few stops from the Eiffel tower and a few more minutes to the Champs Elysee. In the immediate area of the hotel you will find local shops for supplies and the Bois De Boulogne park which is really pretty. It's also great for Roland Garros if you are a tennis fan. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. the shower is great... very controllable and very powerful... just what you need after a day traipsing around Paris. You get TV with a few English channels and free WIFI. Beds are good with average firmness. Coffee/Tea facilities and toiletries are provided in each room. There is a laundry facility at the hotel, A car park (not free) and a restaurant for breakfast. Its a continental breakfast so not a "cooked breakfast". We tended to get up and get out and take breakfast in the parks or in town as Paris is famous for it's cafe culture and a breakfast in Paris Centre will still be cheaper than a hotel. Breakfast can be delivered as room service which is a nice touch in a "budget" hotel There is a lift to all floors or stairs of you prefer. The stairs are beautiful BTW We tend to go in August which means free parking (it's free everywhere in Paris in August) and around this hotel you can invariably find a good safe spot on the street. There are a great range of eateries on the doorstep Japanese and Chinese together with middle eastern cuisine. On the main road by the metro station you will also find the fast food outlets All the usual American Franchises like McD, Subway, Domino's and KFC are close by The hotel is great value and a lot of the rooms are studios which means they come with microwave, hotplate and kitchen equipment The reception is manned til around 10pm after which you use a code to get in. I have always found the reception and management staff to be courteous and friendly. There is usually somebody there with passable English. the hotel is in a safe area. we have walked back on countless occasions after getting the last metro and never experienced any anxiety in this part of Paris. The hotel is very safe and secure and cars don't seem to be targeted as the streets are very well lit As regulars we consider the BRH to be a home from home when we go to Paris. Obviously there are hotels which are cheaper (ibis, campanile etc), but this does have a boutique hotel feel to it and although you don't wake up to a view of the Arc'd Triomph you can be there before you need that second Grand Creme (milky coffee)
Had an overnight stay at Ibis budget hotel Boulogne on way back to Uk. Hotel is basic but clean and sufficient to meet a short stay. You need a number to enter the car park which is a bit of a pain as you have to get it from reception, you also have to pay to park a charge of 4 euro!!
We wanted to be able to walk to Roland Garros so this was perfect. The reception staff spoke good English, offering help with everything from using their washing machine to where to eat - there are heaps of good restaurants around. And if you like Japanese, you'll think you've hit the jackpot. There must be 6 within walking distance. Room had everything we needed; small but comfortable with big bathroom. Great bed - firm for a good night's sleep.
An excellent value for the money, on the upside - very welcoming - had a room with kitchenette and bath and wifi! Breakfast was better than most with more than just a croissant and coffee. The front desk was very helpful, and the location cannot be beat - 5 mins to metro station, 5 mins to the pool ( with slide ), 10 mins to the shopping center. One thing, it doesn't look as nice on the outside with a sort of generic retro signage...but walk through the door and you are home away from home!
Spent three nights here and can highly recommend it. It's a very clean, extremely friendly budget option for Paris. Close to the metro and some lovely bars and restaurants nearby (great market on Saturday too). Staff extremely helpful and kind organising taxis etc. Would definitely use again!
Upon arrival the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel was utilitarian but clean. Location was great - it was quiet and only five minutes walk to the Metro (Marcel Sembat). Restaurants and parking were close by. We would have no hesitation in going back again.
Good points: •Neat and tidy. •Quiet area + firm beds= good sleep. •Air conditioning that works! (It was 35C / 95F outside) •350m (5 minutes) walk to Metro Station Marcel Sembat. There are also Velib bikes and a superb bakery at the station. Decent breakfast. To be improved: •Wifi is a bit fiddly to login. •Noise between floors, you can hear all the walking above. •We stayed for three nights and the rooms were not cleaned in between. Not a problem but people might expect otherwise. And be aware of the location: it's not near the centre of Paris but it's an easy Metro trip. Versailles is not too far either.
Hi. We with family have stayed in Classic Studi in Boulogne Résidence Hotel for 5 nights, from 01st April to 06th April 2015. The best thing of the hotel was the great support from Mathew as a front office staff. He is much co operative and much helpful to all our needs without any hesitation. He can guide you for everything with a good smile. Thanks to him again. Location wise easy access to Metro and the bus stop where the bus stops near to the press. The only part is the room size.Which is small. Other than that everything went fine and well. I would always recommend this hotel for the stay.
