The woman who attended us at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There didn't seem to be a lot of people staying in this hostel, so there wasn't a nice familial community vibe that I have felt in other hostels. It was fine for my mom, sister, & I, but if you are traveling solo, this may not suit your needs if you want to stay somewhere where you meet other people. Our room was very simple, a 4-bedroom, it was tidy as well. We had our own private bathroom which was nice. There was no AC in our room, or in any of our rooms, that was definitely disappointing, especially with the heat in Paris. That being said, I do believe their website and page on TripAdvisor states that so it should not be a surprise. The location of the hostel is not ideal either. It is about a 10-12 minute walk to a metro station (there is a bus station nearby however) and the area is very quiet, if you are looking for that sort of thing. All in all, it was an OK experience.

I stayed at Arty Hostel for 3 nights, in a shared 6-bedroom and besides the room being really dirty (dust everywhere) I was happy, considering the price was fairly low. Then, upon my last night I get back to my room, my keycard doesn't work, and when I'm finally let in to my room, I enter only to find another person in my bed. Apparently my bed has been unmade, she has arrived and found an empty bed. My baseball cap was gone, as well as my towel and shorts. Eventually the cap was found among the dirty bed sheets in the laundry room. The receptionist told me there was nothing she could do and continued to prioritize other guest while we were discussing the situation. I recommend this hostel for a short stay 1-2 nights, but if you're going to stay in Paris for any longer, find another place.

We stayed here in a private suite. It was lovely and nice, but since it is also a hostel it got pretty loud above us. For the price, it was a great stay. A very nice neighborhood, easy to get around Paris. We'd definitely stay here again.

I stayed in a mixed 4-bed room. Overall it was satisfactory but you can do better. Pros: - Big shared kitchen with lots of amenities and fridge space - Friendly staff - Sheets and pillows satisfactorily clean Cons: - Bathroom was clean, but still seemed dingy and smelled musty. You could clearly see standing water in the shower drain pipe and water pooled immediately after starting showering - Lockers were tiny - Small room - Housekeeping facilities seem limited, I asked for an extra pillow and had to wait until the next day because apparently there were none in the building - Very far from the train station

"This is not a place for tourists" I was told at check in, when I mentioned it took me a while to find from the Metro. Once checked in I was given my key card and directed to the smallest lift I have ever seen in my life - there was just me, and my hand luggage, and that was a squeeze. I got to my room, which was quite small with 2 bunk beds. I decided to have a shower, which again was tiny, and quite a mission. When you stepped out of the shower you was almost in the toilet. Not enough space at all. I would not stay here again.

Stayed 5 days at the Arty Paris hostel. The hostel is actually quite nice. Rooms are a bit cramped (especially the bathroom) however I imagine most accommodation in Paris city to be a little on the smaller side. Good facilities at the hostel with washing, full kitchen, strong WIFI and helpful attendants at the front desk. Breakfast was a little steep at 6 Euro for a few croissants and a glass of watered down orange juice. Much better to hit some of the local bakeries instead. The main issue we had however was it's location. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest underground. This meant late nights ended up with Uber rather than underground travel.

I stayed in two different four-bed rooms (one on the first floor and the second on the third) and - although they were somewhat small - consider them to be quite good for backpackers who will spend most of their day out sightseeing. The hostel/hotel is clean and has a pleasant common room. The rooms have lockers (you need to pay one euro to use them) and have some toiletries available. The room on the third floor had such a small bathroom that using the toilet with the door closed is a challenge even for short people and some of their beds are very squeaky. Also, there is breakfast available for six euros which I don´t recommend as it only consists of some bread, jam, coffee and juice.

Satisfactory... Not that easy to find if you are new to the place. Accessible by car, bus, and tram... Receptionist's attitude differs (not consistent). It would have made the place better if with consistency. I admire the staff who extended their help for our small requests. While particular one has somewhat a prejudice towards us, no harm done BTW. Crampped place, the smallest elevator and bathroom I ever saw.

Everything about this place is Great!! From the minute we checked in, till the minute we checked out, the Arty Paris was a outstanding place. Staff was friendly and helpful, cleaning service was suburb, location was great. The room was cozy and we were able to get a good night sleep. It was extremely clean all thru out the hotel. Nothing but good things about my stay here.

Everything is good but the bathroom is very small. Stuffs are very supportive. Wifi connection is good. Breakfast is available and you also can cook your own food in the common kitchen. You also can wash your clothes b using the washing machine.
