The location, in the heart of the 5th arrondissement within walkable distance of the Latin Quarter and close to public transportation, is exceptional. The apartment is quite spacious and bright. However, the cleanliness and amenities were subpar to the price paid. The cleaning crew was still in the apartment when we checked in, the bedsheets and decorative pillows were stained, the door handles were wobbly, the freezer had not been cleaned, and the AC and fans were inefficient and noisy. The communication with the rental agency was rather poor; they kept sending automated emails requesting feedback, but it took 2 to 3 attempts to receive an actual response to our feedback, including coordinating for check-in and check-out.
