I wasn't going to leave a review but truth has be told as these hotels now aren't cheap and we try to get the best we can afford. If your like us I looked at the previous reviews and it's number one rank and thought, Found it However I will be honest from arrival to leaving The hotel has been left excellent reviews which is misleading, reviews saying the things it has but does not count for the many it hasn't On arrival There's no grand entrance to its reception, it's a desk and a laptop The hotel is surrounded with 6-8ft security fence Unused buildings surrounding it Across from entrance is locals homes, which where singing rude songs to us on last day pick up, Our room two single beds pushed together, Two beds in living area to high with marble floor beneath.for wee kids All inclusive but had a hob and cooker, why put us in there last thing you want is cooker to look at Ants coming under door and marching right through Toilet leaking Hotel pools 2 adults only, indoor cold and plunge type, children pool together with main centre pool but are small and crowded for guests Sun beds are full by 8am Hotel has one bar for drinks, no draught fizzy juice everything out of bottles, Hotel shares self catering b&b and all inclusive but however I know guests where non inclusive chancing it for drinks at poolside No wristband policy Hotel food great and you can ask for orders to chef and ice cream But themed nights, NO kids menu Hotel has no, I mean none entertainment through day and night and the king Jason team will say this on there reply so expect people playing cards at night or on phones Hotel has wifi but as fast as dial up, if you can connect and constant asking reception for codes as they change. Hotel is walking is more inland from harbour not ten minutes it's 20 mins using short cut To harbour Shopping mall close has Lacoste tommy hilfieger etc and but that big but can waste a day in there Coral bay bus ride or 20euro taxi one way In summary this hotel suits not kids or young couples or families suited to the older British couples which as can read have left good reviews It's awarded 4star? It's not grand or has any wow factor and should be reviewed by the people that award the stars It's very quiet and that's what the return guests like and maybe you. Cause that's what is advertised. This hotel should slowly lose its ranking as The managers/owner Maria and Andreas keep it a float for many years. But mind cyprus is a beautiful place and there are crackers of hotels on the beach same price same stars with water sports and beach swimming area. Last point , king Jason team will maybe leave a reply not in agreement and try to belittle this review but hay. The only thing they fix now is to remove the table tennis from the rear car park next to moving maintance cars and residents hire cars.

The King Jason hotel in paphos really is amazing! It's exactly the same as the pictures and is so modern, clean, fresh and looks new! The staff can't do enough for you, rooms were cleaned everyday, the food was lovely with so much variation, and the range of swimming pools means it's good for families, couples and elderly breaks. Only thing I'd say is if you're looking for a hotel where there's an entertainment team for children then King Jason doesn't have one, but we weren't bothered about that. Rooms are spacious with new equipment and lovely bathroom. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the harbour but there is plenty of bars and restaurants on the way and there is a brand new shopping centre a 5 minute walk away. Paphos itself is a lovely place with lots to do and the King Jason is in a decent location. It isn't on the beach which is a negative I suppose but we were fine with it being inland and the walk is pleasant. Would definitely recommend it!!!

The title of my review describes, the place, the staff, the food, the service and not only..... Everything was exceptional!! The friendly staff and the personal care of the Manager makes you feel more than welcome. The food quality was higher than any expectation The public areas and the room were very carefully cleaned. We definitely enjoyed the hydro contact and eleganza pool.Looking forward for the next visit.

Just come back from a stay at the King Jason and loved every minute. I was part of a group of 8 including grandparents and 16 year old grand kids. We arrived late and found sandwiches, cheese, biscuits and apples in our fridge. Our room was spaceous and clean. My husband and I had a large bedroom with the most comfortable bed imaginable and the kids slept in the lounge area. My only criticism is we were over the kitchen which could be a little noisy at times. The complimentary beach bag was a lovely treat. Pools were lovely, sun loungers were comfortable and plentiful. Food was fantastic, staff can not do enough for you. All the staff were polite, hard working and efficient. No entertainment which was fine as we were happy to sit, chat and play cards. I had messaged before we arrived and ask for both grandparents to have ground floor rooms, my parents were put on the top floor but were moved the day after a request was made. Good selection of drink and food. We asked if we could have a table of 8 reserved for us in the dining hall, as we were a large group and even this wasn't too much trouble. All in all a great hotel, which is run fantastically.

Absolutely amazing hotel! Friendly staff, amazing food and the rooms were beautiful! We are already planning our next trip there! Special thanks to the hotel manager who was always friendly at every meal! Celebrated our honeymoon and although we had arrived out of food hours they had put sandwiches and cheese and crackers in our fridge and there was champagne and chocolates on arrival! The hydropool was definitely the best pool; the spa is a must visit(!) and the meals are different themed every night with amazing desserts! When they say all inclusive they LITERALLY mean all inclusive! The cocktails are all worth a try! Complimentary beach bag was a treat and could never get bored with the towel-swans in our room!

Me and my partner have just recently stayed at the King Jason and both feel that this hotel has a lot of room for improvement, it has some credentials of a 5 star venue but then let's itself down with other things to take it away from that 5 star. The adult pool also called the (elegancia) is absolutely full of debris, sand all in the bottom of the pool leaves and was also a piece of glass in it. Clearly does not get cleaned every day and maintained as was dirty our whole stay. We had paid for all inclusive and for Cyprus it was not cheap so expected very attentive service and a nice selection of spirits and beers and good food. The waiters and waitresses both very polite and hard working throughout the day/ night, the bar staff tho I can not say the same about, at times quite rude muttering under there own breath and rushing you away?? I actually felt guilty going up to the bar at times to order a drink after nearly paying 3k plus. The bar ran out of vodka one night which I find bizzare how can this happen in a all inclusive hotel ridiculous, nevertheless the cocktails where great and we got on with it. This hotel has all the potential in the world for entertainment in the bar area and pool areas I feel some music even just in the night time maybe a acoustic act or some kind to bring this hotel to life, has a very dull atmosphere at night time so we went out most nights. Room was spot on maids kept on top of it and made sure it was spotless, Andreas very attentive and Maria a lovely lady and very good with the customers. Food has a good selection and is all fresh And of good quality like most all inclusive breaks it gets a bit repetitive after a week or so but is to be expected. All in all I would recommend king jason but has room for improvement, if your coming away for a lively atmosphere tho and some entertainment this isn't the hotel for you.

Just returned from 10 nights at the King Jason - here is my summary: beds so comfortable, rooms clean with great shower facilities, adult only pool with good accessibility to the sun beds. Kitchen and restaurant staff fantastic - kitchen staff make sure the food is all topped up and a great selection available. The restaurant staff - excellent - so efficient. You sit down and they are there asking you what drinks you want, you finish your food and they are there to take your plates! My daughter suffered a burn during our stay and the hotel arranged for her to visit a local doctor who sorted the problem almost immediately - we were very grateful! I would recommend this hotel if you want to chill and relax. You will need a car if you want to explore other parts of Paphos as it's a bit out of the way. It was very hot during our stay - thank god for air conditioning - a life saver! Oh and if you like cats - you will love this place! They are so friendly and are well looked after!

Just returned the from King Jason and can't wait to return....this hotel is spotless, rooms spacious with excellent amenities. Every meal time has a huge, delicious choice of food. Andreas, the two Maria's and Alex customer care goes way beyond many 5 star hotels that we have stayed in. In short please book you will not be disappointed! Our regards and best wishes to all the staff, Pam, Kyra, Isla and Chris x

Recently returned from a week at this gem of a hotel. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of sparkling rose wine and a chocolate followed by a quick and easy check in.Then we were taken to our room, which was a lovely room overlooking the centro pool and the adults only hydro pool. The room had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for the three of us. The food at this hotel has to be some of the best food we have had at a hotel, breakfast, lunch and dinner were always of a very high quality with a large variety of options to choose from with a different theme every night, the desert station was something else,so many things to choose from, especially the creme brulee. What makes this hotel so special is how incredibly attentive the staff are, always making sure your drinks were topped up and clearing away plates quickly. The location wasn't a problem for us as we fully intended in hiring a car, which we did, this allowed us to visit Coral Bay,Latchi and we even took a trip into the Troodos Mountains. A special thank you must go to Andreas and all the staff for their fantastic hospitality, always checking if everything was ok.The bottle of wine and chocolates left in the room for my daughter's birthday was a lovely gesture. From start to finish nothing was too much trouble for Andreas and his team,we hope to return again very soon !!

This is our second visit to the king Jason first was in 2014 We were not disappointed they have made some great improvements including some new executive suites which we stayed in which are fabulous .restaurant has had new tables and an overall makeover plus a small extension Staff are first class have to mention Jimmy who kept us well topped up with drinks all week and to Andreas and Maria perfect hosts as ever Food is best I've had at an all inclusive and I'm fussy no complaints there The cocktails have changed slightly the mojito not as good as before but they have added some branded drinks to the menu so no complaints there Met a lovely couple from Pompey who we had a drink with (or two )on most nights and a good laugh Could do with adding a little background music or discreet entertainment other than that perfect Will definitely return soon
